TE Larry Donnell out with ankle injury

(3:59 pm ET) Giants tight end Larry Donnell hurt his ankle in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Eagles and won't return, reports the New York Post. Donnell caught two of six targets for 26 yards, finishing the season with 63 grabs for 623 yards and six touchdowns.

Donnell was a major surprise despite slowing down considerably over the second half of the season. An exclusive rights free agent, Donnell will enter 2015 as the Giants' unquestioned starter.


Bills quarterback Kyle Orton throws for 176 and a touchdown in win

(3:57 pm ET) Bills quarterback Kyle Orton went 16 for 23 for 176 yards and a touchdown to lead Buffalo to a 17-9 win over the Patriots Sunday.

Orton connected with wide receiver Robert Woods for a 6-yard touchdown on the opening drive and was not asked to do much afterwards.

Orton, who finishes the year over 3,000 passing yards for the third time in his career, played 11 games for the Bills after they benched E.J. Manuel. 

Orton threw 18 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions during the year.


Marshawn Lynch ready for Seahawks

(3:55 pm ET) Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is active Week 17 against the Rams.

Lynch was listed as probable due to a back injury. He's been dealing with the issue all season, but has been able to play through it. 

The club will also have Tony Moeaki and Russell Okung. Both players also came into the contest listed as probable. 

Chris Matthews, who was listed as questionable, will also attempt to play. He's dealing with a hamstring injury.


Seahawks list inactives for Week 17

(3:52 pm ET) The Seahawks have listed DE Demarcus Dobbs, TE Cooper Helfet, WR Jermaine Kearse, OL Keavon Milton, CB Tharold Simon and OL Max Unger as inactive Week 17 against the Rams. 

Both Dobbs and Kearse had been ruled out prior to the contest. Helfet, Simon and Unger all came into the game listed as questionable. Helfet is dealing with a rib injury. Simon has a shoulder issue. Unger is battling knee and ankle injuries. Milton is a healthy scratch.


Redskins list OT Tom Compton as questionable to return

(3:50 pm ET) After leaving Week 17’s game against the Cowboys after suffering a knee injury, Redskins offensive tackle Tom Compton is questionable to return.

Eagles CB Nolan Carroll returns Week 17

(3:46 pm ET) Eagles cornerback Nolan Carroll, who left in the third quarter against the Giants to get checked for a concussion, returned in the fourth quarter. Carroll started the game in place of corner Bradley Fletcher (hip).

Chargers' Shareece Wright ruled out with head injury

(3:46 pm ET) The Chargers will be without cornerback Shareece Wright for the remainder of the Week 17 game against the Chiefs.

Wright suffered a head injury and has been declared out.


Michael Crabtree good to go for 49ers

(3:44 pm ET) The 49ers will have wideout Michael Crabtree Week 17 against the Cardinals.

Crabtree came into the contest listed as probable due to a knee injury. The club will also have Chris Culliver, Brandon Lloyd, Marcus Martin and Justin Smith. All four players were also listed as probable. 

Bruce Ellington, who came into the game listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury, will give it a go. He's the only player listed as questionable who will attempt to play through his injury. 


49ers list inactives for Week 17

(3:41 pm ET) The 49ers have listed RB Carlos Hyde, WR Stevie Johnson , S Eric Reid, CB Perrish Cox, LB Ahmad Brooks, CB Tramaine Brock and QB Josh Johnson as inactive against the Cardinals.

Hyde, Stevie Johnson and Reid were all ruled out prior to Sunday. Brock, Brooks and Cox were all considered questionable. Brock has a hamstring injury. Brooks is dealing with a thumb issue. Cox has a shoulder injury. Josh Johnson is a healthy scratch.


Redskins OT Trent Williams suffers ankle injury vs. Cowboys
