Cairo Santos has quiet day against Miami

(11:05 pm ET) Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos was not needed in Week 3's 34-15 win over the Dolphins in Miami. Santos did not have a field goal attempt, but added four extra points in the win. 

Caleb Sturgis goes 2 for 3 in Week 3 loss

(11:01 pm ET) Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis missed a 48-yard kick early in the second quarter, but bounced back with a pair of field goals in a 34-15 loss to Kansas City in Week 3. Sturgis drilled a 22-yard shot at the end of the first half and booted a 51-yard kick in the third quarter. He converted 2 of 3 field goal attempts and added one extra point in the defeat.

Brandon McManus not asked to do much Week 3

(10:58 pm ET) Broncos kicker Brandon McManus wasn't asked do much in a Week 3 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. McManus converted a 24-yard kick late in the first quarter. He finished 1 for 1 in field goal attempts, and added one extra point in a 26-20 victory. 

Steven Hauschka makes 2 of 3 field goals in Week 3

(10:54 pm ET) Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka racked up eight points in an overtime win over the Broncos in Week 3.

Hauschka drilled a 20-yard field goal on the opening drive for Seattle. He missed a 46-yard shot in the third quarter, but bounced back with a 28-yard kick in the fourth. He converted 2 of 3 field goal attempts and added two extra points in a 26-20 victory.


Seahawks get contributions from several role players Week 3

(10:51 pm ET) The Seahawks received contributions from several role players in a Week 3 overtime win over the Broncos.

Robert Turbin was limited to only two carries for one yard. He caught his only target for a 4-yard gain. Bryan Walters had two catches for 22 yards, while Zach Miller caught two passes for 12 yards. Derrick Coleman and Paul Richardson were each limited to one grab. Coleman had 12 receiving yards, while Richardson finished with seven.


Doug Baldwin leads the way with 56 receiving yards Week 3

(10:43 pm ET) Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin had his best game of the season but was still held under 60 yards in Week 3 against the Broncos.

Baldwin came down with a pair of catches for 14 yards in the second quarter. He also came down with 16-yard and a 12-yard reception before halftime and was held without a grab the rest of the way. He finished with four catches for a team-high 56 yards, averaging 14.0 yards per grab in a 26-20 overtime win.

Seattle is on a bye before returning to action in Week 5 at Washington.


Jonathan Stewart heads to locker room

(10:43 pm ET) Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart went to the locker room in the third quarter against the Steelers with a knee injury. Stewart ran five times for 31 yards, breaking several tackles, and caught all three of his targets for 19 yards before leaving.

Percy Harvin has seven grabs in overtime win

(10:38 pm ET) Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin enjoyed a productive performance but was held out of the end zone in Week 3 against the Broncos.

Harvin, who was limited to one grab in Week 2 against San Diego, got back on track and established himself as the primary receiving option in the passing game. He was targeted nine times and finished with a team-high seven receptions for 42 yards in a 26-20 overtime win. 

Through three games, Harvin has 15 catches for 106 yards. The Seahawks has a Week 4 bye, so he'll look to get back in the end zone in Week 5 at Washington.


Ike Taylor suffers apparently serious forearm injury

(10:35 pm ET) Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor was forced out of the game at Carolina in the third quarter with what looked like a serious forearm injury. He made three tackles before the injury.

Ricardo Lockette scores second touchdown of season

(10:33 pm ET) Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette scored his second touchdown of the season in a Week 3 overtime win over the Broncos on Sunday.

Lockette came down with a 39-yard grab in the end zone in the second quarter for his only catch and target of the day. It was the longest scoring play for the Seahawks this season. Lockette has three catches for 77 yards this season.
