Colts list seven players on final injury report

(2:09 pm ET) The Colts listed seven players on the final injury report for Week 8 against the Steelers. Reggie Wayne (elbow) was the only player on the list ruled out for Sunday's game. Trent Richardson (hamstring) and Jack Doyle (knee) were deemed questionable.

Meanwhile, Darius Butler (ankle), Arthur Jones (ankle), Gosder Cherilus (rest) and Erik Walden (rest) were all labeled probable for Sunday.


Bears LBs Jon Bostic, Lance Briggs doubtful for Sunday

(1:59 pm ET) Bears linebackers Jon Bostic (back) and Lance Briggs (ribs) have been deemed doubtful for the Sunday game at New England.

Both have been sidelined the last two games.


Packers DE Datone Jones red-lighted for Sunday

(1:54 pm ET) Despite participating in Thursday practice, Packers defensive end Datone Jones has been ruled out for the Sunday night game at New Orleans. It will be his third consecutive absence from game action with a sprained ankle.

Green Bay coaches felt he wasn't quite ready after watching film of his individual work at the Thursday session, per the Green Bay Press-Gazette.


Titans RB Shonn Greene on track to return Sunday

(1:52 pm ET) Titans running back Shonn Greene was officially ruled probable for Week 8 against Houston after missing the previous two games with a hamstring injury, the Tennessean reports. Greene has 44 carries for 190 yards and a touchdown this season. Bishop Sankey started while Green was sidelined, so it remains uncertain how coach Ken Whisenhunt will use both backs Sunday.

Report: Redskins not ruling out Monday return of QB Griffin III

(1:49 pm ET) Jay Gruden is apparently still holding out hope that starting quarterback Robert Griffin III can play Monday night for the Redskins against Dallas, per the team website, which is reporting that the coach will not make a decision until that day.

Griffin, who watched backup Colt McCoy perform well in the Week 7 defeat of Tennessee, also did not rule out the possibility of being active. He has been sidelined since early in Week 2 with a dislocated ankle.


Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore will draw the start Week 8

(1:47 pm ET) The Ravens will turn to tight end Crockett Gillmore to start in place of Owen Daniels (knee) in Week 8 at Cincinnati, per the Baltimore Sun. The rookie out of Colorado State has only caught three passes for 29 yards this season.

"He's ready to go," Harbaugh said.


Bengals WR A.J. Green ruled doubtful for Week 8

(1:40 pm ET) After missing another week of practice, Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green was officially ruled as doubtful for Week 8 against Baltimore, per the team's official website. Green could be in danger of missing his third consecutive game due to a nagging toe injury. He hasn't been able to practice since aggravating the injury on Oct. 8. 

Week 8 status for Buccaneers QB Josh McCown still unclear

(1:36 pm ET) Buccaneers deposed starting quarterback Josh McCown has stated that his injured thumb has improved, but declined to predict whether he'll be active for Sunday's game against Minnesota, per the Tampa Bay Times. He will back up Mike Glennon if he is available.

McCown, who added that the call would be made by Lovie Smith, has not played since Week 4. An announcement regarding his status for Week 8 has been expected but has yet to come.


Dolphins relatively healthy entering Week 8 at Jacksonville

(1:32 pm ET) The Dolphins enter Week 8 at Jacksonville relatively healthy despite having 14 players on the final injury report for Sunday's game.

Jimmy Wilson (hamstring) was the only player that was unable to practice all week. He's been ruled doubtful for the game. Samson Satele (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice all week and was labeled questionable.

Meanwhile, Branden Albert (elbow), Charles Clay (knee), John Denney (knee), Cortland Finnegan (neck), Brandon Gibson (hamstring), Brian Hartline (finger), Lamar Miller (knee), Koa Misi (ankle), Shelley Smith (knee), Ryan Tannehill (ankle), Dallas Thomas (shoulder) and Philip Wheeler (shoulder, thumb) were all deemed probable.


Ravens TE Owen Daniels undergoes minor knee procedure

(1:19 pm ET) Ravens tight end Owen Daniels underwent a minor knee procedure earlier in the week and was officially ruled out for Week 8 against Cincinnati, according to Baltimore Sun. Coach John Harbaugh told the paper that Daniels could be back in action as early as Week 9 at Pittsburgh.
