Riley Cooper still making little impact
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(6:23 pm ET) Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper had his best game of the season in Week 3 against Washington, but was still mostly held in check in a 37-34 win.

Cooper brought in four of seven passes thrown his way, while amassing a season-high 34 yards. He had a long catch of 21 yards, his longest through three games.

Cooper has just 71 yards on nine receptions heading into Week 4 against the 49ers.

Zac Stacy totals 121 yards in Week 3 loss vs. Cowboys
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(6:22 pm ET) Rams running back Zac Stacy gained 67 yards on 12 carries and another 54 yards while catching five of his six targets in his team's 34-31 loss to the Cowboys in Week 3.

Though the Rams jumped out to a huge lead in the first half, they decided to put the game in Austin Davis' hands, with the quarterback throwing 42 times and Stacy receiving just 12 of the team's 30 rush attempts. After failing to average four yards per carry in either of his firs two games, Stacy averaged 5.6 yards per carry Sunday while also getting the job done through the air after recording only one reception in his first two games. Stacy and the Rams get next week off before heading to Philadelphia to face the Eagles in Week 5.

Hakeem Nicks, Coby Fleener play a big role Week 3
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(6:21 pm ET) Colts pass catcher Hakeem Nicks and Coby Fleener each had big games Week 3 against the Jaguars.

Nicks hauled in four balls for 50 yards and a score. Fleener had 49 yards and a touchdown as well. Fleener was Luck's most popular receiver during the game, picking up seven targets. Nicks had a big 29 yard gain, but scored on a 1 yard strike from Luck.

Both players will look for more Week 4 against the Titans.

Torrey Smith remains in doldrums against Browns
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(6:20 pm ET) The surprisingly slow start to the season for Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith continued Sunday in Cleveland.

Smith caught just two passes for 25 yards despite eight targets as he appeared out of sync with Joe Flacco from start to finish. His drop on 3rd and 16 with 2:30 remaining nearly doomed his team, which rallied to win.

With just six receptions for 85 yards in three games in 2014 after exploding for 1,128 yards a year ago, Smith will try to get back on track in Week 4 against Carolina.

Jordan Matthews scores first two career touchdowns
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(6:20 pm ET) Eagles rookie receiver Jordan Matthews proved to be a dependable red zone target Sunday, in a 37-34 win over Washington in Week 3.

Matthews, who had just three receptions during his first two games, hauled in eight of nine passes thrown his way Sunday. He finished the game with just 59 yards on those eight catches, but made an impact near the goal line, as he scored twice from 11 yards out.

Matthews was expected to be a solid contributor as the team's third receiver, but consistency has been an issue. He has 11 receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns through three games, heading into Week 4 against the 49ers.

Brandon Fusco injures his shoulder
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(6:18 pm ET) Vikings offensive lineman Brandon Fusco injured his shoulder Week 3 at New Orleans. The extent of the injury is unknown, but according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, it "has the team concerned."

Austin Davis racks up 327 yards, three TDs in Week 3 loss
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(6:18 pm ET) Rams quarterback Austin Davis completed 30 of his 42 pass attempts for 327 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in his team's 34-31 loss to the Cowboys in Week 3.

Davis played very well in the first three quarters, helping take the Rams to a 21-0 lead in the first half and mantaining a one-point lead heading into the fourth after the Rams defense started to struggle. However, the Cowboys took the lead in the fourth and picked off Davis for the first time in the game, returning the interception for a touchdown. After he threw his third touchdown of the day, Davis was unable to lead his team on a game-winning drive, throwing his second interception.

Davis, who drew the start despite former starter Shaun Hill being active Sunday, may have done enough to remain the starter heading into the team's Week 4 bye. The Rams face the Eagles in Week 5.

Jeremy Maclin dominates in shootout
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(6:17 pm ET) Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin put together a dominant performance as the team's top receiving option in Week 3's 37-34 win over Washington.

Maclin led the team in all relevant receiving categories, as he hauled in eight of 10 passes thrown his way for 154 yards. He scored on a 27-yard pass from Nick Foles in the fourth quarter, and had another touchdown -- this one for 80 yards -- called back due to a holding penalty.

Maclin has now scored in each of the first three games this season, and has 16 receptions for 296 yards. He will look to extend his streak to four games when the Eagles take on the 49ers in Week 4.

Reggie Wayne hauls in four balls Week 3
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(6:15 pm ET) Colts receiver Reggie Wayne hauled in four passes Week 3 against the Jaguars.

Wayne gained 62 yards, which was the second-highest on the team. Wayne made most of his catches on intermediate routes. All but one of his catches went for at least 15 yards. Every single one of his catches resulted in a first down.

Wayne will look for more Week 4 against the Titans.

Taylor Gabriel contributes 71-yard catch in Sunday defeat
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(6:15 pm ET) Browns rookie wide receiver Taylor Gabriel might be comparatively tiny, but he made what appeared to be a gigantic play in the fourth quarter Sunday against Baltimore.

Gabriel broke free downfield for a 71-yard reception in the fourth quarter. He fell down after the snag, but bounced up untouched and raced to the Ravens 9. Alas, the play went for naught as the Browns failed to score. Gabriel finished with two receptions for 81 yards.

His team is now on its bye week.
