Saints place Pierre Thomas, Akiem Hicks on injured-reserve

(3:02 pm ET) The Saints have placed running back Pierre Thomas and defensive end Akiem Hicks on injured-reserve and promoted Jerry Franklin and Brandon Coleman from their practice squad.

Thomas played a limited role in Week 16 against the Falcons, catching just two passes for 24 yards, before injuring his ribs and leaving the game. 

He finishes the year with 45 carries for 222 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. 


Chargers list final injury report for Week 17 clash at Kansas City

(2:59 pm ET) The Chargers have ruled running back Ryan Mathews (ankle) and punter Mike Scifres (shoulder) out for Sunday's regular season finale at Kansas City.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen (ankle, shoulder) was the only player on San Diego's final injury report listed as doubtful. Guard Chris Watt (ankle) was deemed questionable. Meanwhile, defensive tackle Corey Liuget (ankle), quarterback Philip Rivers (chest, ankle) and cornerback Shareece Wright (concussion) were designated as probable.


Redskins release final injury report for Week 17 against the Cowboys

(2:52 pm ET) Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher has missed practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Hatcher has missed Washington's last two games with a knee injury.

Trent Williams (shoulder), Chris Baker (toe/elbow), Gabe Miller (ankle), Keenan Robinson (knee) and Stephen Bowen (ankle/illness) are all listed as questionable for the game. 

Robert Griffin III (shoulder), Bashaud Breeland (thigh), Barry Coefield (shoulder), Tom Compton (knee), Will Compton (shoulder), Jackson Jeffcoat (calf), Kory Lichtensteiger (stinger) and Darrel Young (ankle) are all considered probable.

The Redskins are currently 5 1/2-point underdogs at home against the Cowboys. 


Chargers WR Keenan Allen doubtful to play season finale

(2:50 pm ET) The Chargers have labeled wide receiver Keenan Allen as doubtful for Sunday's regular season finale against the Chiefs, per the team's official website.

Allen sat out Sunday's overtime win over San Francisco because of injuries to his shoulder and ankle. Allen has 77 catches for 783 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games this season. If he is unable to play, Eddie Royal, Malcom Floyd and Dontrelle Inman will shoulder the load in the passing game.

The Chargers are currently a 1-point underdog at Kansas City, per Vegas Insiders.


Cowboys mostly healthy heading into Week 17 against Washington

(2:46 pm ET) Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray, who was sent home with the flu Thursday, was able to participate fully Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Tackle Doug Free missed practice all week with an ankle injury and is doubtful. Linebacker Dekoda Watson has a hamstring injury and is out.

Tony Romo (back), Josh Brent (calf), Jeff Heath (thumb), Zack Martin (ankle), Rolando McClain (knee) and Bruce Carter (knee) are all listed as probable for Dallas.

The Cowboys are currently 5 1/2-point favorites on the road against Washington.


Chargers RB Ryan Mathews gets the red-light for Week 17

(2:45 pm ET) Chargers running back Ryan Mathews was officially ruled out for Sunday's regular season finale at Kansas City, per the team's official website.

Mathews' 2014 regular season campaign comes to an end after appearing in only six games, registering 330 yards and three touchdowns on 74 attempts on the ground. Branden Oliver, Donald Brown and Ronnie Brown will all shoulder the load in the running game.

According to Vegas Insiders, the Chargers are a 1-point underdog at Kansas City. San Diego can clinch a playoff spot with a win on Sunday.


Colts unveil Week 17 injury report

(2:39 pm ET) The Colts listed tight end Dwayne Allen (knee), tackle Gosder Cherilus (groin) and outside linebacker Bjoern Werner (shoulder) as out for Sunday's contest against Tennessee.

Inside linebacker Jerrell Freeman (hamstring), wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) and guard Joe Reitz (ankle) were ruled as questionable.

Meanwhile, defensive end Cory Redding (knee), guard Hugh Thornton (knee) and outside linebacker Erik Walden (knee) were labeled probable


Zaviar Gooden only probable on Titans' Week 17 injury report

(2:31 pm ET) Titans linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) was the only player on Tennessee's final injury report listed as probable for Sunday's season finale against the Colts.

Defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill (foot), tackle Terren Jones (concussion) tackle Byron Stingily (ankle), linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring), tackle Taylor Lewan (ankle) and quarterback Zach Mettenberger (shoulder) were labeled as questionable.

According to the Tennessean, Lewan and Mettenberger aren't expected to play. Coach Ken Whisenhunt did not rule out the possibility of dressing Mettenberger as an emergency option.


Bears' Chris Conte to miss regular season finale against Vikings

(2:27 pm ET) Bears safety Chris Conte will miss Sunday's game against the Vikings with a back injury. Conte was unable to practice all week. He played 12 games this season, recording 43 tackles and three interceptions. Also out are quarterback Jimmy Clausen (concussion) and kicker Robbie Gould (quad).

Defensive end Jared Allen (ribs), defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff, and cornerback Al Lewis-Jean (hamstring) are all listed a questionable for Sunday.

David Bass (knee), Ego Ferguson (ankle), Kyle Long (hip) and Marquess Wilson (knee) are all listed as probable.

The Bears are 6-point underdogs for Sunday's game.


Bengals WR A.J. Green ruled probable for SNF

(2:22 pm ET) Bengals receiver A.J. Green was officially ruled as probable for Sunday night's contest against the Steelers despite dealing with a biceps injury.

Green was ineffective after suffering the injury Monday night against Denver with the injury. He leads the team with 61 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns.

Cincinnati is a 3 1/2-point underdog at Pittsburgh. The Bengals can clinch the AFC North division title with a win.
