The 28-year-old Branch has played seven seasons in the NFL -- all with the Raiders. However, due to injuries, he has only played in five games the last two seasons.

Branch has totaled 476 tackles, 20 passes defensed and four interceptions in his career.

Report: Seahawks could make a run at CB Tramon Williams
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(1:50 pm ET) Seahawks general manager, a former Packers executive, will reportedly seek cornerback Tramon Williams to replace unrestricted free agent Byron Maxwell in Seattle, if Williams is not signed by Green Bay before March 10 -- the start of free agency, according to Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Wednesday.

Williams rejected a two-year contract worth $8 million from the Packers earlier this offseason, according to a source. He is seeking a three-to-four-year contract with more guaranteed money. Last season, he totaled 71 tackles and added three interceptions, tied for a team high.

Lions LB Stephen Tulloch: I will be back in Detroit in 2015
(1:18 pm ET) Linebacker Stephen Tulloch took to Instagram on Thursday to announce his intentions of returning to the Lions' roster in 2015, which will mark his 10th season in the NFL.

"Lets put all the questions and speculations to rest. I will be back in Detroit for my 10th season this year," Tulloch wrote. "I appreciate the Lions organization for believing in me and having the confidence that I'll be back to the player that I've always been. Trust and know I grind hard everyday and will hit the field running when its time to suit up."

Tulloch spent five years with the Titans prior to joining the Lions in 2011. He played in only three games last year after tearing his ACL while celebrating a sack of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Chargers CB Brandon Flowers: I would love to stay in San Diego
(1:00 pm ET) Chargers cornerback Brandon Flowers said Thursday during an interview with NFL Network that he would like to re-sign with San Diego, per ESPN.

“We’re in negotiations right now, and hopefully we can get something done,” Flowers said. “But free agency is right around the corner. We’ll see how that all plays out. Business is business, but I would love to stay in San Diego.

"To me it’s very enjoyable because if I stay in San Diego, it’s a place I loved stepping in from Day 1. It’s a nice place to live, and with a quarterback like Philip Rivers, you always have a chance. And if I’m not able to go back, I’m going to the free agency market.”

Chargers general manager Tom Telesco said the two sides are talking.

“We’ve been in communication with his agent and with Brandon,” Telesco told XTRA 1360 Fox Sports radio last week. “And we’ll see where it goes with them.”

The 29-year-old Flowers had 52 tackles and led the team with three interceptions in 2014 -- his only season with San Diego after playing the previous six seasons with the Chiefs.

Broncos announce restructuring of Peyton Manning's contract
by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(12:40 pm ET) The Broncos and quarterback Peyton Manning agreed Thursday on a restructured contract for the 2015 season, the team announced.

"We're glad to work something out with Peyton so that he will be part of our team this season," Broncos executive vice president and general manager John Elway said.

Manning reportedly took a pay cut from $19 million to $15 million for the 2015 season. By announcing the signing, it appears Manning passed his required physical, which was scheduled for Thursday.
