Saints announce four sidelined for Week 3

(4:16 pm ET) The Saints have ruled out four players for Week 3 against the Vikings, after all four were unable to practice Friday.

As expected, running back Mark Ingram headlines the list, after suffering a broken hand that is expected to keep him out up to a month. Additionally, fullback Erik Lorig (ankle), safety Marcus Ball (hamstring) and linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle) have all been ruled out for Sunday's game.


Montell Owens not expected to play in Week 3

(4:13 pm ET) Lions running back Montell Owens is expected to sit out Week 3 against the Packers, after being limited throughout the week in practice due to a hamstring injury. He is officially listed on the injury report as doubtful. 

Lions list seven from defense on injury report

(4:12 pm ET) The Lions defense is likely to be a bit shorthanded for Week 3 against the Packers, with three players expected to miss Sunday's game due to injuries.

Linebacker Travis Lewis (quadriceps) and defensive back Cassius Vaughn (ankle) have been ruled out for Sunday's game, while safety James Ihedigbo (neck) is doubtful and seems likely to miss the game.

Additionally, defensive linemen Ezekiel Ansah (knee), Nick Fairley (biceps) and George Johnson (groin) are considered questionable for the game, while safety Don Carey (hamstring) is probable. 


Jamaal Charles only a maybe for Sunday action

(4:11 pm ET) Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles has been deemed questionable for the Sunday clash in Miami with an ankle injury that limited his participation again in Friday practice.

Charles is off to a miserable start in 2014 with just 23 yards rushing in nine attempts.


Three ruled out for Lions in Week 3

(4:09 pm ET) The Lions ruled out three players for Week 3 against the Packers, after all three were unable to participate in practice throughout the week.

Linebacker Travis Lewis, defensive back Cassius Vaughn and tackle LaAdrian Waddle will all sit out Sunday's game.  


Joique Bell probable for Week 3

(4:07 pm ET) Lions running back Joique Bell was limited in practice yet again Friday with a knee injury, but is not expected to miss time in Week 3 against the Packers.

Bell is officially probable for Sunday's game, despite missing time in practice throughout the week.  


Cowboys rule out 3 on defense for Week 3

(4:05 pm ET) The Cowboys ruled out three players from the defensive side of the ball for Week 3 against the Rams, based on Friday's injury report.

Defensive linemen Anthony Spencer (knee) was unable to practice Friday after being limited earlier in the week, and will not play in Sunday's game. He will be joined on the sidelined by Davon Coleman (knee) and Justin Durant (groin), both of whom were unable to practice during the week.

Additionally, linebacker Rolando McClain (groin) is doubtful after missing the entire week. Defensive lineman Lavar Edwards (knee) is questionable, while George Selvie (shoulder) and Ken Bishop (illness) are both probable for the game and expected to play. 


Ravens release injury report for game in Cleveland

(4:04 pm ET) Ravens running back Bernard Pierce has been listed as questionable for the Sunday game in Cleveland with a thigh injury. He is the lone Baltimore player so designated Friday.

Deemed doubtful is defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (knee). The probables are quarterback Joe Flacco (illness), cornerbacks Lardarius Webb (back) and Asa Jackson (concussion) and offensive lineman Eugene Monroe (knee).


Gavin Escobar, Joseph Randle questionable for Week 3

(3:59 pm ET) Cowboys running back Joseph Randle (concussion) and tight end Gavin Escobar (knee) are both questionable for Week 3 against the Rams, after they were limited in Friday's final practice session. 

Dez Bryant questionable with shoulder injury

(3:58 pm ET) Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday as a result of a shoulder injury, putting his availability for Week 3 against the Rams in question.

Bryant told reporters earlier in the week he expects to play Sunday, but is officially listed on the injury report as questionable. He suffered the injury in Week 2, but was able to play through it after missing just one series."
