Bills' Robert Woods, Scott Chandler catch TDs in Week 16
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(8:06 pm ET) Bills wide receiver Robert Woods and tight end Scott Chandler both caught touchdowns in Buffalo's 26-24 loss in Oakland in Week 16.

Chandler caught a pass over the middle at about the 10-yard line early in the fourht quarter and outmuscled a defender into the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown that cut his team's deficit to two points. Unfortunately, the Bills were again down by two scores when Robert Woods hauled in a 30-yard touchdown with just 69 seconds left on the game clock, and the team was unable to recover the successive onside kick.

Woods finished the game with seven receptions on nine targets for 52 yards while Chandler managed four receptions on six targets for 37 yards. Both players will square off with the Patriots in Week 17.

Colts RBs average 0.1 yards per carry in blowout loss
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8:06 pm ET) Colts running backs Dan Herron and Trent Richardson were non-factors in the Week 16 loss at Dallas. Herron ran seven times for 3 yards, while Richardson rushed twice for 1 yard. Running back Zurlon Tipton  had one carry for minus-3 yards, leaving the team with an average of 0.1 yards per carry.

Herron did catch three of four targets for 37 yards, and Tipton caught all four of his targets for 23 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown. Richardson secured both his targets for 8 yards.

Look for Herron to lead the backfield Week 17 at Tennessee, and in the playoffs.

Bills WR Sammy Watkins scores 42-yard TD vs. Raiders
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(8:01 pm ET) Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins caught just three of his seven targets but racked up 75 yards and a touchdown in his team's 26-24 loss to the Raiders in Week 16.

Watkins hauled in a 42-yard pass in the end zone for the first score of the game in the first quarter but was held relatively in check over the rest of the day. His touchdown was his first since the end of October. The rookie is up to 62 receptions, 925 yards and six touchdowns. He'll be looking for a 1,000-yard season when the Bills head to New England in Week 17.

Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck sharp in relief effort
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8:01 pm ET) Colts backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck entered the blowout loss at Dallas in the third quarter and played well, completing 15 of 21 throws for 126 yards and a touchdown. He'll back up Andrew Luck again Week 17 at Tennessee.

Patriots DST adequate against Jets
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7:58 pm ET) The Patriots didn't have a monster defensive performance Week 16 at the Jets, recording just two sacks with one takeaway, an interception by Jamie Collins in the third quarter, but they performed adequately against one of the league's worst offensive teams, allowing 16 points on 307 yards.

It was their fourth game in five allowing less than 20 points. However, it was the just the second time during that same stretch that the Patriots DST didn't score double-digit Fantasy points in standard CBSSports.com leagues.

A lack of big plays are to blame, but those aren't always so predictable from week to week. The Patriots DST has been one of the most consistent in Fantasy this season and has a favorable matchup Week 17 against Buffalo, so keep it active.

Bills' running game sputters vs. Raiders in Week 16
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(7:56 pm ET) The Bills managed just 13 yards on 13 carries as a team in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Raiders in Week 16, with running back Fred Jackson leading the team with 10 yards on six carries.

It was an absolutely abysmal game from the Bills' rushing attack with the team's season on the line. Jackson did serve as the team's leading receiver, catching nine passes on 12 targets for 93 yards, giving him his first game with more than 100 yards from scrimmage since Week 5. Anthony Dixon rushed for seven yards on three carries.

C.J. Spiller returned from a stay on injured reserve but struggled mightily in his limited playing time. He lost four yards on four carries and added four receptions for 14 yards, putting the ball on the turf once but recovering his own fumble.

The Bills head to New England for the regular-season finale next Sunday.

Dan Bailey wide right from 52 yards
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(7:54 pm ET) Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey pushed a 52-yard field-goal attempt wide right Week 16 against the Colts, making him 5 of 7 from 50-plus yards this season. He hit six PATs and got no other field-goal tries.

Bailey visits Washington in Week 17.

Bills QB Kyle Orton throws three TDs vs. Raiders
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(7:52 pm ET) Bills quarterback Kyle Orton completed 32 of his 49 pass attempts for 329 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in his team's 26-24 loss to the Raiders in Week 16.

Though Orton wound up with a nice stat line thanks to two fourth-quarter touchdowns, he made plenty of poor throws, including a massive overthrow on third-and-long deep in his own territory late in the fourth quarter for his second pick of the day. On a positive note, his third touchdown, which came with a little more than a minute left on the clock, was the 100th of his career.

The Bills have been eliminated from postseason contention with the loss. Orton will square off with the Patriots in Week 17.

Cole Beasley scores fourth touchdown in past five weeks
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(7:51 pm ET) Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley found the end zone for the fourth time in the past five weeks in Sunday's 42-7 win over the Colts. Beasley caught a pass over the middle, spun away from a tackle and scored from 24 yards out in the second quarter.

He finished with two catches on three targets for 29 yards. Beasley visits Washington in Week 17.

Buccaneers DST not an embarrassment
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7:50 pm ET) Facing one of the league's most prolific offenses Week 16 against Green Bay, the Buccaneers defense didn't do so poorly, allowing 20 points on 431 yards. Of course, its DST wasn't so productive in Fantasy either thanks to just one sack and one takeaway, a fumble recovery by Clinton McDonald.

The Buccaneers DST had a stretch of three games in Weeks 11-13 when it scored double-digit Fantasy points in standard CBSSports.com leagues, but it's been held to less than 10 in three since. It remains an unreliable unit and certainly isn't worth using against the Saints in Week 17.
