DeAndre Hopkins goes over 100 yards for second time

(12:01 am ET) Texans second-year wideout DeAndre Hopkins recorded his second 100-yard receiving game this season, catching six passes for 108 yards in the loss at Pittsburgh. Hopkins produced one 100-yard game as a rookie.

Hopkins, who shared the team lead with nine targets, lost a critical fumble in the fourth quarter when he was stripped by safety Mike Mitchell. It was his first lost fumble this season, second of his career.

Hopkins visits the Titans in Week 8.


Andre Johnson salvages night with big fourth quarter

(10/20/2014) Texans receiver Andre Johnson had one 4-yard reception through three quarters Monday night at Pittsburgh. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick finally looked Johnson's way in the fourth quarter, and the 33-year-old wideout finished with five catches for 77 yards.

In the process, Johnson moved past Steve Largent for 14th place in career receiving yards. Johnson has 14,057 receiving yards.

Johnson shared the team lead with nine targets, his average this season. He'll visit the Titans in Week 8.


Arian Foster posts third straight 100-yard game

(10/20/2014) Texans running back Arian Foster carried 20 times for 102 yards (5.1 ypc) Monday at Pittsburgh, his third consecutive 100-yard rushing game and the 30th of his career. He's gone over 100 yards rushing in five of the six games he's played this season.

Foster shredded the Steelers for 73 yards on seven first-quarter carries. He was not as effective after that, but he capped his night with a 1-yard touchdown catch with 1:31 left. Foster caught four of his six targets for 13 yards.

Up to six total touchdowns, Foster visits the Titans in Week 8.


Le'Veon Bell makes Steelers' history on MNF

(10/20/2014) Running back Le'Veon Bell totaled 145 yards from scrimmage Monday against the Texans, becoming the first Steelers player to surpass 100 yards from scrimmage in the first seven games of a season. Bell joined Dallas' DeMarco Murray as the only players to accomplish the feat this year.

Bell caught eight passes for 88 yards and a touchdown and ran 12 times for 57 yards (4.8 ypc). He broke free from linebacker Brian Cushing in the second quarter, turning a short reception into a 43-yard gain. Right before halftime Bell exploited a blown coverage for a 2-yard score.

Bell's eight targets ranked second on the team behind Antonio Brown's 13. Bell, who surprisingly has only two touchdowns this year, plays the Colts in Week 8.


Antonio Brown throws touchdown pass on trick play

(10/20/2014) Steelers wideout Antonio Brown did his usual damage as a receiver Monday against the Texans, and he also threw his first career touchdown pass on a trick play. Late in the first half, Brown took a toss, reversed field and fired a 3-yard strike to Lance Moore in the end zone.

Brown also had a touchdown grab called back when it was ruled his toe came down out of bounds.

Brown drew a team-high 13 targets, catching nine balls for 90 yards. It was his 23rd straight game with at least five catches and 50 receiving yards. He'll face the Colts in Week 8.


Packers CB Davon House says he'll play after dislocating finger

(10/20/2014) Packers cornerback Davon House, who dislocated a finger in the Week 7 win over Carolina, said he'll be ready to practice Wednesday and will play Sunday at New Orleans, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. House said his finger was popped back into place on the sideline.

Short week will make it hard for Brandon Flowers to play

(10/20/2014) Chargers starting cornerback Brandon Flowers, who suffered a concussion Sunday against the Chiefs, "very well could be sidelined" for Thursday's game at Denver, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune. The paper noted it's generally difficult for players who sustain concussions on Sunday to play on Thursday.

Flowers has 23 tackles and two interceptions this season.

Report: Bucs reach deal with return man Trindon Holliday

(10/20/2014) The Buccaneers agreed to terms with receiver/returner Trindon Holliday, reports the Tampa Tribune. He was released by the Giants this month after going on IR with a hamstring injury in late August.
