Rams QB Shaun Hill comes alive late Week 16
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(9:14 pm ET) Rams quarterback Shaun Hill did most of his damage Week 16 in garbage time, throwing two touchdowns in the game's final 17 minutes. Hill finished 24 of 32 for 290 yards and two scores with one interception in the 37-27 loss to the Giants.

Hill wasn't able to rally his team to a victory, but he made the final score more respectable. Hill hit tight end Lance Kendricks for a 23-yard touchdown late in the third quarter and wideout Chris Givens for a 47-yard score late in the fourth. Hill has accounted for eight touchdowns and five turnovers in seven games.

He'll finish the season at Seattle.

Colts DST falls apart in lopsided loss
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9:14 pm ET) The Colts defense was enjoying their best run of the season entering Week 16, but the Cowboys put an end to that quickly in a 42-7 loss.

The Cowboys scored early and often on the Colts, racking up two touchdowns in each of the first two quarters, to go up 28-0 at halftime. The Colts ended up allowing 377 yards of total offense in the game, while forcing one turnover and sacking Tony Romo just once.

The Colts DST unit finished the game with just 3 Fantasy points, their lowest total since Week 2. They had a streak of four straight games with at least 11 points snapped, and will look to get back on track against the Titans in Week 17.

Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch receives first carry in second quarter
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(9:13 pm ET) Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch received his first carry of Week 16 in the second quarter.

Lynch missed the entire first quarter with what the team called an upset stomach. With Lynch out, the team split carries between Robert Turbin and Christine Michael during the first quarter.

Josh Brown hits 3 of 4 field goals
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(9:05 pm ET) Giants kicker Josh Brown converted 3 of 4 field-goal tries Week 16, including a 52-yarder. He added four PATs for 13 points. Brown plays the Eagles in the regular-season finale.

Joseph Randle establishes his place in the hierarchy
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9:03 pm ET) With the Cowboys up big and DeMarco Murray somewhat limited following a hand injury, the Cowboys turned to their backups for an increased role in Week 16 against the Colts, and it was Joseph Randle who had the most to gain.

Lance Dunbar mostly remained in his usual role, finishing the game with two receptions and two rushes for 14 all-purpose yards, while Randle saw his role increase in a big way. Randle rushed the ball a season-high 13 times, and though he managed just 37 yards, you had to come away from the game pleased to know exactly where he falls in the hierarchy.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see Murray limited even more in Week 17, with a playoff spot locked up. Randle was expected to see the larger share than Dunbar, but it was still good to see confirmation of that. Keep an eye on how the Cowboys plan to use Murray this week, because Randle could be a solid starting Fantasy option in Week 17 against Washington.

Giants get offensive contributions Week 16
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(9:02 pm ET) The Giants got a slew of offensive contributions in their 37-27 win at St. Louis. Among them, tight end Larry Donnell caught four of five targets for 42 yards, wideout Preston Parker caught all three of his targets for 32 yards and tight end Daniel Fells hauled in two passes for 20 yards.

Backup running back Orleans Darkwa ran four times for 21 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown, and secured both his targets for 17 yards.

They'll all play the Eagles in Week 17.

Rueben Randle goes off for a career-high 132 yards, TD
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8:57 pm ET) Giants receiver Rueben Randle caught six passes for a career-high 132 yards and a touchdown in the Week 16 win at St. Louis. It was only the second 100-yard game this season for Randle, who's up to three touchdowns.

Randle caught each of his targets. He started the game after coming off the bench the two previous weeks for being late to meetings.

Randle will try to finish strong Week 17 against the Eagles.

Cowboys still feed DeMarco Murray heavily
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(8:53 pm ET) Despite undergoing surgery less than a week ago, the Cowboys still got running back DeMarco Murray 20-plus carries Sunday, in a 42-7 win over the Colts in Week 16.

Murray played with a protective pad on his hand, but didn't seem too troubled by it. The fumble-prone back extended his streak of games without putting the ball on the turf to seven games, despite carrying it 22 times. He managed to rush for just 58 yards, but found the end zone for the 12th time in the win.

The Cowboys clinched a playoff spot Sunday, but they will still be fighting for seeding in Week 17. Still, they might want to take advantage of the opportunity to limit his workload against Washington. Keep an eye on the team's plans throughout the week, but Murray proved Sunday he is well worth starting as long as he plans on playing.

Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch sidelined with upset stomach
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(8:52 pm ET) Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch did not start Week 16 due to an upset stomach.

Robert Turbin received the start with Lynch on the sideline. He missed the entire first quarter due to the injury, and his status remains undetermined. Turbin has received five carries and Christine Michael has carried the ball twice with Lynch out.

Nothing special for Raiders DST
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(8:50 pm ET) The Raiders may have upset the visiting Bills in Week 16, allowing 24 points on 321 yards, but their DST didn't have much to show for it in Fantasy. They were a little light on big plays, recording two sacks and two interceptions.

The Raiders DST finished with eight Fantasy points in standard CBSSports.com leagues, which was actually one of its better performances on the year. It has scored double-digit Fantasy points only twice all season.

You should know better than to use it in Fantasy, particularly with the matchup it has Week 17 at Denver.
