by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10:55 am ET) Giants right tackle Justin Pugh has bulked up to 315 pounds, reports The Star-Ledger. "I put on about 10 pounds," Pugh told the paper. "I feel very good. I'm stronger than ever and now we're going to start running -- get that going. Continue to get better and continue to work hard."

The 6-4 Pugh played his rookie season at a little over 300 pounds. Pugh said he did not add the weight for a potential move to guard.

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10:08 am ET) Giants safety Antrel Rolle, who made the Pro Bowl last season as a replacement, said he has four "great" seasons left, reports The Star-Ledger. The 31-year-old wants to finish his career with the Giants but is entering the last year of his contract.

"If this happens to be my last year with the Giants, it will be my best season,” Rolle told SiriusXM’s The Opening Drive. "So I’m going to go out with a bang."

Richardson critiques his own 2013 season
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(9:12 am ET) Colts running back Trent Richardson knew he would answer dozens of questions about his disappointing 2013. He proved he was prepared on Wednesday. Richardson told the Indianapolis Star that after reviewing his own film he realized he was "trying to hit the home run" instead of playing patiently.

"When I (missed) the cuts and the holes, I said, 'Dang, how the heck did I miss that?'" Richardson said. "'How in the world did I miss that?' That's second nature. You never miss a cut. You get as much yards as you can get at every opportunity."

Richardson did feel like defenses were ganging up on him, "tacking 10 (defenders) in the box, nine in the box." But he's focused as ever about proving he can still play at a high level

"I want everybody to be on the edge of their seats," he said.

Seahawks mulling James Carpenter's fifth-year option
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(8:48 am ET) A league source says the Seahawks are "leaning against" exercising their fifth-year option on offensive lineman James Carpenter, ProFootballTalk.com reports. Carpenter has been injury plagued throughout his short career and would be due over $7 million in 2015 if the option were accepted. If he's not extended by early May then he'll be in a contract year.

Cecil Shorts not yet at full strength
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(8:22 am ET) Entering a contract year following a disappointing season, the stakes couldn't be higher for Jaguars wideout Cecil Shorts. But in order to rebound and earn that large pay day, he has to get on the field first. That's a problem -- the Florida Times-Union reports Shorts is still dealing with the effects of groin surgery and is not yet at 100 percent, but hopes to be soon.

"I'm on the right path where I'm able to run without any pain," Shorts said. "I still have some work to do and I'm not 100 percent yet, but I'm looking to get there soon. Now, I have to get my strength back and confidence back."

Coach Gus Bradley commented that Shorts is "leaner" and more focused than before on becoming a better contributor to the offense. Shorts will experience his first training camp where he's not learning a new playbook. He had a career-high 66 catches last year for 777 yards and three touchdowns.
