Dion Jordan to be sidelined until Week 7

(4:50 pm ET) The drug suspension issued by the NFL against Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan will keep him sidelined until his eligibility to return on Oct. 20 at Chicago, per the Miami Herald.

Jordan will have missed six games by that time. He played in all 16 games as a rookie last season, contributing to 26 tackles and recording two sacks.


Two Patriots standouts probable for clash against Raiders

(4:44 pm ET) Patriots prime pass-catchers Julian Edelman (back) and Rob Gronkowski (knee) have been listed as probable for the Week 3 game against Oakland. They are all but set to start.

Quintet of Patriots deemed questionable for Sunday

(4:41 pm ET) The Patriots have deemed five players as questionable for their Sunday game against visiting Oakland. They are defensive lineman Michael Buchanan (ankle), linebacker Jamie Collins (thigh), cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (shoulder), running back Shane Vereen (shoulder) and offensive lineman Ryan Wendell (knee).

Listed as prorable are wide receiver Julian Edelman (back), tight end Rob Gronkowski (knee), offensive lineman Dan Connolly (knee) and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga (hand).


Two questionable for Browns in Week 3

(4:29 pm ET) Tight end Jordan Cameron (shoulder) is not the only Browns player listed as questionable for the Sunday game against Baltimore. Second-year linebacker Barkevious Mingo (shoulder) has received the same designation.

All the other Browns on their Friday injury report aside from shelved running back Ben Tate (knee) are probable. They are wide receiver Travis Benjamin (knee), defensive ends Desmond Bryant (wrist) and John Hughes (hamstring), punter Spencer Lanning (shoulder), offensive lineman Paul McQuistan (ankle) and cornerback Buster Skrine (thumb).


Saints role players listed on Week 3 injury report

(4:25 pm ET) Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan (knee) is probable for Week 3 against the Vikings, after getting through Friday's practice without issue.

Additionally, offensive lineman Jonathan Goodwin (elbow) is probable, while guard Tim Lelito (back) is questionable for Sunday's game.

(4:18 pm ET) Saints linebackers Curtis Lofton (shoulder) and Kyle Knox (ankle) were both able to practice Friday, and are considered probable for Week 3 against the Vikings. Both are expected to play Sunday. 

Chiefs set with Friday injury report for Week 3

(4:18 pm ET) The Chiefs have issued their injury report Friday for their Sunday game against the host Dolphins. Safety Eric Berry (ankle) and running back De'Anthony Thomas (hamstring) have been ruled out.

Aside from running back Jamaal Charles, who is questionable with an ankle injury, everyone else is probable. They are linebackers Tamba Hali (ankle/knee) and Josh Martin (quad/tricep), safety Husain Abdullah (ankle/quad), running back Cyrus Gray (foot) and center Eric Kush (shoulder).


Saints announce four sidelined for Week 3

(4:16 pm ET) The Saints have ruled out four players for Week 3 against the Vikings, after all four were unable to practice Friday.

As expected, running back Mark Ingram headlines the list, after suffering a broken hand that is expected to keep him out up to a month. Additionally, fullback Erik Lorig (ankle), safety Marcus Ball (hamstring) and linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle) have all been ruled out for Sunday's game.


Montell Owens not expected to play in Week 3

(4:13 pm ET) Lions running back Montell Owens is expected to sit out Week 3 against the Packers, after being limited throughout the week in practice due to a hamstring injury. He is officially listed on the injury report as doubtful. 

Lions list seven from defense on injury report

(4:12 pm ET) The Lions defense is likely to be a bit shorthanded for Week 3 against the Packers, with three players expected to miss Sunday's game due to injuries.

Linebacker Travis Lewis (quadriceps) and defensive back Cassius Vaughn (ankle) have been ruled out for Sunday's game, while safety James Ihedigbo (neck) is doubtful and seems likely to miss the game.

Additionally, defensive linemen Ezekiel Ansah (knee), Nick Fairley (biceps) and George Johnson (groin) are considered questionable for the game, while safety Don Carey (hamstring) is probable.
