Fitzgerald missed Week 12 against Seattle with a sprained left MCL. He told reporters earlier that he was "highly likely" to return to action on Sunday. Coach Bruce Arians will release Arizona's final injury report for Week 13 after practice.

"I would anticipate that," Ryan told ESPN.

Smith is back on the job after Michael Vick took it over for a stint. The Jets are hoping the former can show an ability that would allow him to establish himself as the team's franchise quarterback.

Falcons remain confident WR Roddy White will play Week 13
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(1:00 pm ET) Although the Falcons have listed wide receiver Roddy White (ankle) questionable for Week 13 against Arizona, coach Mike Smith remains confident he'll play on Sunday, ESPN reports.

"Because Roddy studies the game and understands how people are going to try to defend him,'' Smith said. "And he's been in this league for over 10 years. We've done it multiple times last season in terms of him not being able to get out on the practice field.

"He did work with our (athletic performance) people today and got good reports on where he was in terms of moving around. I feel confident, still, that he'll play on Sunday.''
