The Ravens are expected to sign Jeromy Miles to a new contract this offseason, sources told The Baltimore Sun.

Miles was mainly a special-teams contributor for the Ravens last season, but he can also play safety. In 2014, he recorded his first career interception and set a career-high with 28 tackles.

Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley underwent offseason wrist surgery, a league source told the Baltimore Sun on Thursday.

Mosley, 22, registered 133 tackles, one forced fumble and two interceptions in his rookie campaign. He is expected to make a complete recovery and should be ready for the start of offseason practices and workouts, per the report.

The Ravens announced on Friday that tight end Phillip Supernaw, safety Brynden Trawick, cornerback Rashaan Melvin and offensive lineman Ryan Jensen signed their exclusive-rights free agent tenders.

Supernaw was mostly a reserve in 2014 and had two catches for 27 yards. Trawick is a backup safety that plays on special teams coverage units. Melvin was signed off of the Dolphins' practice squad after injuries decimated the cornerbacks. Jensen was a 2013 draft pick that ended up spending the majority of 2014 on the practice squad.

Newly acquired Ravens quarterback Matt Schaub told reporters during a phone conference that his elbow is "fine" and that he has plenty of football left in him, per the Baltimore Sun.

"I had a rough year. I learned from it. I've got a lot more football left in me," Schaub said. "I know what I'm capable of. It's just a matter of finding the right opportunity."

Schaub, 33, registered only 10 pass attempts last season for the Raiders. The veteran, however, has completed 63.9 percent of his passes in his career while racking up 130 touchdowns and 86 interceptions. He won 40 games in a five-year stretch (2008-12) with the Texans.

Schaub will serve as a backup to starter Joe Flacco next season.

"In this role as a backup, you still have to mentally and physically get yourself ready to play. You never know," Schaub said.

Jeremy Zuttah

Ravens center Jeremy Zuttah recently underwent an arthroscopic surgical procedure on his hip to removce some bone spurs, according to a report from The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson.

Zuttah played hurt throughout the 2014 season and dealt with the pain when in his blocking stance.

Zuttah was an integral part of the Ravens' success on the offensive line in 2014. The Ravens only gave up 19 sacks, the second-fewest in the NFL, and rushed for 126.2 yards per game, which ranked eighth in the league.

The Ravens have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 9 matchup with the Steelers: wide receiver Michael Campanaro (thigh), cornerback Jimmy Smith (foot), safety Terrence Brooks, linebacker Zach Orr, defensiven end Lawrence Guy and offensive linemen Gino Gradkowski and Jah Reid.

Both Campanaro and Smith were ruled out on Friday's injury report. The Ravens had three players listed as questionable, and all are active for the NFC North battle.

The Ravens are expecting their top wide receiver from this past season to be back in action in 2015.

Speaking at the NFL combine, coach John Harbaugh said everything is still pointing to Smith being back in the fold with the receiving group.

"We're planning on having Steve Smith back," Harbaugh said.

Smith caught 79 passes for 1,065 yards and six touchdowns in 2014. In the wild card round of the playoffs, Smith caught five passes for 101 yards in a 30-17 win over the Steelers.

The Saints have knocked their roster down to 53 by waiving a number of players Saturday.

Among the offense players let go are center Matt Armstrong, wide receivers Seantavius Jones , Brandon Coleman and Charles Hawkins, tight end Nic Jacobs, guards Jason Weaver and Marcel Jones, tackles Tavon Rooks and Thomas Welch and running backs Greg Jones and Derrick Strozier.

The defenders cut loose are cornerbacks Trevin Wade, Terrence Frederick and Derrius Brooks, linebackers Keyunta Dawson and Todd Davis, tackle Lawrence Virgil, safety Pierre Warren.

Placekickers Shayne Graham and Derek Dimke are also out.

Ross was planning to push for a starting job after struggling with a back injury and ultimately missing a chunk of last season.

Ravens cornerback Rashaan Melvin, safety Brynden Trawick and offensive lineman Ryan Jensen signed exclusive-rights tenders Tuesday, the Baltimore Sun has reported. The former signed for $585,000 while the latter's tender is worth $510,000.

Neither deal includes guaranteed money or a signing bonus.

Melvin started two of three games he played in 2014 and recently underwent shoulder surgery. Trawick played in all but two games last season and registered seven tackles. Jensen was active for just one game in 2014.

Joe Flacco

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco will not play in the 2015 Pro Bowl not because he wasn’t invited, but because he turned downed the invitation, reports ESPN.com.

Flacco’s wife is due to deliver their third child Tuesday and he said he prefers to be there for his wife during the delivery. Andy Dalton took Flacco’s spot on the Pro Bowl roster. The game will be played Sunday in Arizona.

The Ravens parted ways with Haloti Ngata, dealt to the Lions in the offseason. Coach John Harbaugh is confident that the center of the team's defensive line will hold up, however. 

Meeting with the media at the NFL Owners Meetings, Harbaugh said he was confident in Timmy Jernigan and Brandon Williams . "There’s no reason we can’t be a great defense and a great defensive front next year," he said, per ESPN.

Jernigan was a second-round draft pick of the Ravens last year. He had four sacks in 12 games as a rookie. 

Williams has 1.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in two years with the Ravens.

The Ravens have signed long snapper Morgan Cox and defensive end Christo Bilukidi, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Cox, 28, snapped in seven games in 2014 before tearing his ACL. He was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Bilukidi began his career with the Raiders, he then went on to play for the Bengals and Ravens. The 25-year-old has 16 total tackles, one pass defensed and one sack.

Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has agreed to restructure his contract, according to the Baltimore Sun on Tuesday.

Baltimore retooled his $4 million base salary for 2015 into a $3 million signing bonus and $1 million in base salary. The move creates $2.25 million in additional cap room for the Ravens.

Suggs registered double-digit sacks for the fourth time in the last five seasons. He finished 2014 with 61 tackles, 12 sacks and one fumble recovery.

Will Hill

Ravens safety Will Hill was assigned a right-of-first-refusal original round tender on Monday, according to the Baltimore Sun. The tender is worth $1.542 million to the restricted free agent.

Hill, 25, started eight of the ten games that he played in last year recording 42 total tackles, four passes defensed and one interception -- that was returned for a touchdown.

The Ravens have ruled tackle Eugene Monroe (ankle) out for Sunday's regular season finale against the Browns. Defensive lineman Chris Canty (ankle, thigh), outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (thigh, back) and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint (ribs) were deemed questionable.

Ravens tackle Rick Wagner , who suffered a season-ending foot injury in December, should be back by training camp in July.

Coach John Harbaugh, meeting with the media at the NFL Owners Meetings on Tuesday, said that the start of training camp was Wagner's target date, per the Baltimore Sun.

The Ravens announced a several roster moves on Tuesday, per the team's official website. The team moved tackle Ricky Wagner to injured reserve, ending his season due to a foot injury he suffered Week 16 against Houston. In a corresponding move, Baltimore added defensive end Steven Means to the 53-man active roster.

The Ravens also shuffled their practice squad, waiving defensive end Zach Thompson and signing tackle Nate Menkin and guard Joe Unga.

Daryl Smith

Ravens veteran inside linebacker Daryl Smith, 32, said he has no plans to retire. The 11-year vet started every game this season and made 127 tackles with nine pass breakups, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a sack.

"My body feels good," Smith told the Baltimore Sun. "I still love the game, so I definitely want to be back next year."

Smith had six tackles and an interception in Saturday's playoff loss at New England. He has three years left on his contract.

After restructuring his contract with the Ravens, cornerback Lardarius Webb wants to finish his career with the team, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Webb recently agreed to a contract restructure that dropped his cap number from $12 million to $9.25 million.

"My goal is to retire a Raven and, while it wasn’t an easy decision, I wanted to put the team first," Webb told The Baltimore Sun. "I wanted to prove myself this year that the Ravens sticking with me was the right decision. The Ravens reached out to my agent, Marc Lillibridge, a few weeks before the scouting combine and they were talking and working hard together to get something done. I'm glad it's done."

Webb, 29, has spent his entire six-year career with the Ravens, posting 301 total tackles, two sacks, 71 passes defensed, 11 interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Terrence Brooks

The Ravens announced that defensive back Terrence Brooks will start the 2015 season on the physically unable to perform list. 

Brooks is recovering from torn knee ligaments, which he suffered covering a kickoff in mid-December. 

Brooks was a third-round pick in the 2014 draft. He had 19 tackles and two pass defenses in 11 games for the Ravens as a rookie.

The Ravens ruled out cornerback Tramain Jacobs (thigh) out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He was the only player on Baltimore's final injury report ruled out for Week 14.

Wide receiver Michael Campanaro (thigh), running back Justin Forsett (knee), tight end Crockett Gilmore (back) and linebacker Albert McClellan (thigh) were all deemed questionable. Forsett returned to practice Friday and is expected to play.

Meanwhile, the following players were ruled probable: Wide receiver Marlon Brown (concussion), tight end Owen Daniels (rest), linebacker C.J. Mosley (wrist), linebacker Daryl Smith (rest), wide receiver Torrey Smith (knee), linebacker Terrell Suggs (rest), defensive tackle DeAngelo Tyson (rest), linebacker Courtney Upshaw (hand) and center Jeremy Zuttah (ankle).

Arthur Brown
News
The Ravens have placed linebacker Arthur Brown on injured reserve with a thigh injury to make way for defensive lineman Haloti Ngata to be placed on the active roster. Brown was only able to play in four games this season and did not record a tackle. 

Other than Brown, the Ravens have listed tackle Eugne Monroe (ankle) and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (foot and ankle) as out for Saturday's wild card game against the Steelers. 

Monroe has not played since Week 16 against the Texans when he injured his ankle. Defensive end Chris Canty is considered probable.

The Ravens are currently 3-point underdogs against Pittsburgh Saturday.

Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken had one catch for 19 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore's 35-31 loss to New England Saturday. 

Quarterback Joe Flacco connected with Aiken on the opening drive of the game for a 19-yard touchdown. 

Aiken finishes his season with 26 catches for 290 yards and four touchdowns in 18 games.

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker made his only field goal attempt as well as his four extra point attmepts in Baltimore's 35-31 loss to the Patriots Saturday.

Tucker's only field goal attempt came from 25 yards out. He finishes his season with 158 total points in 18 games. He went 33 of 38 on his field goal attempts and a perfect 49 of 49 on his extra points.

The Ravens have reached a three-year agreement with free agent running back Justin Forsett on Thursday, the team announced. His deal is for three years in the $3 million range, per the Baltimore Sun.

"Sometimes you have fortunate signings in this business, and Justin was one of those," general manager Ozzie Newsome said in a statement. "We were fortunate because he became such a vital part of our on-field success and quickly became a steadying influence in the locker room at an uneasy time for us. He gave us more than we anticipated. From what we expected, he gave us unprecedented production."

Forsett, who will turn 30 in November, made $730,000 while playing under a one-year contract for the Ravens last year. He broke out in 2014, totaling 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns on 235 carries. Before his deal with Baltimore, Forsett played mostly backup roles in Seattle, Houston and Jacksonville.

"He fits well into what we do on offense, and he handles all parts of the job effectively, including blocking and receiving," Newsome said. "I mentioned this a few weeks ago when we met with the media: Justin is a tremendous leader by example and willing to step up as both a leader and mentor. He is truly a success story, and we're happy he'll continue that with us. He earned his new contract."

Forsett will rejoin Baltimore's backfield that already included Lorenzo Taliaferro and Bernard Pierce.

The Ravens are down to 53 players, thanks to a series of Saturday cuts.

The offensive players now gone are linemen Parker Graham, A.Q. Shipley and Ryan Jensen, tight end Phillip Supernaw, quarterback Keith Wenning and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint.

Those on defense include defensive backs Dominique Franks, Derek Cox, Tramain Jacobs and Sammy Seamster, linebacker John Simon and linemen Jamie Meder and A.J. Pataiali'i.

Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta's future could be decided this summer. 

Speaking at the NFL owners meetings, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said there isn't an update on Pitta's future but that the organization will learn more about his status this summer, via WNST.

Pitta dislocated and fractured his hip early during the 2014 season, suffering the same injury he sustained during Baltimore's training camp in 2013. The injury is significant enough that there is a chance Pitta decides to retire.

The Ravens have signed long snapper Morgan Cox and defensive end Christo Bilukidi, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Cox, 28, snapped in seven games in 2014 before tearing his ACL. He was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Bilukidi began his career with the Raiders, he then went on to play for the Bengals and Ravens. The 25-year-old has 16 total tackles, one pass defensed and one sack.

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith is still rehabbing his season-ending Lisfranc sprain to his left foot, but said he'll be ready for the start of training camp in late July, reports the team's official website.

"I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be back ready to go," Smith said. "Every day I grow a lot. Every day I feel good about the progress."

Smith has been able to walk without pain and recently increased his physical activities, but he admits the rehab process has been grueling.

"In the beginning, it was rough because of how much it hurt," Smith said. "When you get off [the boot], you have to rebuild all of those muscles and tendons, and everything is popping in there. It hurts."

The former first-round pick has been overtaken on the depth chart by safety Will Hill and it doesn’t appear Elam will return to his starting role. Elam has a league leading 12 missed tackles for defensive backs.

"I feel like it's going well, but other people probably think different," Elam said, per the Baltimore Sun. "I've got to fine-tune the small things and some technique work and keep on improving. I got to continue to stack days and get better."

Reisner, who was waived by the team on Sept. 6, hasn't played in an NFL game since 2013 with Jacksonville. He has seven career catches.

The Ravens parted ways with Haloti Ngata, dealt to the Lions in the offseason. Coach John Harbaugh is confident that the center of the team's defensive line will hold up, however. 

Meeting with the media at the NFL Owners Meetings, Harbaugh said he was confident in Timmy Jernigan and Brandon Williams . "There’s no reason we can’t be a great defense and a great defensive front next year," he said, per ESPN.

Jernigan was a second-round draft pick of the Ravens last year. He had four sacks in 12 games as a rookie. 

Williams has 1.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in two years with the Ravens. 

Michael Campanaro

The Ravens will need to replace Jacoby Jones as a return specialist, after the Pro Bowl kick returner signed with the Chargers in early March. 

Meeting with the media at the NFL Meetings, John Harbaugh wouldn't commit to a replacement for Jones, but he said that Michael Campanaro would get a shot, per ESPN

As a rookie last season, Campanaro returned two punts for a total of 17 yards. He also had seven catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. 

"I look at like it’s March, and we need a returner by September," Harbaugh said.

Aldrick Robinson

The Ravens have signed wide receiver Aldrick Robinson to a reserve/future contract, Pro Football Talk reports.

Robinson appeared in five games with the Redskins in 2014, catching one pass for six yards. He finished the season on the Ravens practice squad. Robinson has tallied 608 yards and five touchdowns on 30 receptions since being selected in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

Marshal Yanda

The Ravens are working on a contract extension with right guard Marshal Yanda, owner Steve Bisciotti said on a conference call with PSL ticket holders. 

Yanda is slated to earn a $5.5 million base salary and carry an $8.45 million cap number heading into 2015, the final year of his contract. Yanda's regarded as one of the top interior linemen in the NFL, making him a prime candidate for the Ravens to work a new deal out with. 

Chris Canty

Free agent defensive end Chris Canty re-signed with the Ravens on a one-year deal with a team option for another year, reports the New York Daily News. Canty, 32, had 33 tackles, a forced fumble and half a sack last season.

This will be his third year in Baltimore.

Crockett Gillmore

Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith had two catches for 28 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 30-17 win over the Steelers. Smith was targeted six times, but was never able to get in sync with quarterback Joe Flacco.

His biggest play came when Flacco was flushed from the pocket and Smith found some room in the end zone to make a play for a score. Meanwhile, backup tight end Crockett Gillmore had just one catch for 21 yards and a touchdown. After a Ben Roethlisberger interception, Flacco found Gillmore near the sideline and he did the rest, rushing into the end zone.

Kendrick Lewis

Kendrick Lewis is switching from the AFC South to the AFC North.

The 26-year-old safety reached an agreement on a three-year deal with the Ravens, per the team's official website.

Lewis spent his first four years with the Chiefs before signing with the Texans in 2014. He signed for the league minimum last year. He started all 16 games last season for Houston, racking up 52 total tackles, six passes defensed and two interceptions.

Ravens wideout Marlon Brown led the team in receiving Week 15.

Brown pulled in five catches for 66 yards during the contest. He was able to haul in all five of his targets. A large chunk of Brown's yardage came on a 22 yard reception in the third quarter. He'll look for more Week 16 against the Texans.
