Eric Wood
News
The Bills starting offensive line will see its first playing time together in a game Sunday against the Bears, with Cordy Glenn, Chris Williams, Eric Wood, Erik Pears and Seantrel Henderson lining up left to right, the Buffalo News reports.

The Bills are walking into a hostile environment in Chicago, and the fact that the starting five on the offensive line didn't see any time together could make things difficult on running backs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson if the linemen suffer a communications breakdown. It also bodes well for the Chicago defense, providing an increased opportunity that a pass rusher breaks through unblocked on a missed assignment.

Bryan Johnson
News
The Bills have placed defensive end Bryan Johnson on their practice squad three days after releasing him from their 53-man roster.

Johnson has been active for two games, but has yet to play a down.

Stefan Charles
News
The Bills listed tight end Chris Gragg (knee), safety Da'Norris Searcy (hamstring), and Mike Williams as out for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Searcy, who left Week 14 against the Broncos and was unable to return, has 47 tackles and three interceptions this year in Buffalo.

Defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee) is listed as questionable while kicker Dan Carpenter (groin) and defensive tackle Stefan Charles (quad) are probable.

Erik Pears
News
Bills rookie offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio said Friday that he has had "a lot of reps" as the right guard with the first team in practice, the Buffalo News reports.

It's unclear whether Kouandjio is close to sliding into the starting lineup over the struggling Erik Pears, but coach Doug Marrone said the rookie "absolutely might" be active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Kouandjio has been a regular on the inactive list this season. He has seen work with the scout team as right tackle in practice, but it appears the team could be preparing him for a move inside.

C.J. Spiller
News
The Bills announced running back C.J. Spiller will be added to the 53-man roster and is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

Spiller has not played since breaking his collarbone Oct. 19.

Defensive end Mario Williams also had a half a sack as well as a forced fumble, while defensive linemen Corbin Bryant contributed a sack and a forced fumble and defensive end Jarius Wynn added a sack of his own.

The Bills were able to intercept four passes, with three coming against starter Geno Smith in the first quarter and one coming from the arm of backup Michael Vick, who took over and played most of the game. Linebacker Preston Brown, cornerback Stephon Gilmore and safeties Aaron Williams and Da'Norris Searcy each picked off a pass in the winning effort.

The Bills head into a Week 9 bye with a 5-3 record before facing the Chiefs in Week 10.

Jerry Hughes
News
Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes notched five tackles and 1.5 sacks in his team's 17-16 win over the Vikings in Week 7.

Hughes split a sack early in the third quarter Sunday, but his solo sack proved critical, as it turned a first-and-goal in the fourth quarter into second-and-14, a play which also resulted in a sack. Hughes is up to 5.5 sacks on the season, with all but one coming in his last three games. He'll square off with the Jets in Week 8.

Duke Williams
News
Bills defensive back Duke Williams was escorted to the locker room during the second half of Sunday's game against the Packers in Week 15. Williams sustained the injury while defending a pass to Randall Cobb and will be evaluated for a concussion. He registered six tackles before leaving the game.
Injury
Concussion - Probable for Week 16 at Oakland
Mike Williams

Injury
Calf - IR. Out for season.
Sammy Watkins
News
Both Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard really liked Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins for Week 15 against Green Bay. And why not? He was coming off a 127-yard performance against the Broncos and facing a Packers defense that had just given up 259 yards to Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones.

So naturally, he goes for just 28 yards, catching one of the six passes thrown his way.

What gives? Hey, that's the way it's gone for him all season long. Prior to his 127-yard performance in Week 14, he had averaged just 26.3 yards in four games.

One reason is he has Kyle Orton throwing him the ball, and Orton isn't all that reliable, his 158 yards in Week 15 giving him less than 200 in three of the last five weeks. Another is that every week someone like Robert Woods or Chris Hogan steals the spotlight, presumably because Watkins is well covered. Defenses know he's a threat, after all. Orton was more to blame in this one than the rest of the Bills' receiving corps, but it's one thing or another with Watkins.

I said it after his Week 14 performance, and I'll say it again: Regardless of the matchup, you just can't trust Watkins in Fantasy. You start him if you need to gamble on a big week, but in all likelihood, you have more consistent options at wide receiver.

Bacarri Rambo
News
The Bills designated the following players as inactive for the game at Denver: wideout Mike Williams (calf), tight end Chris Gragg (knee), defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee), safety Bacarri Rambo (hamstring), fullback Frank Summers, offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio and linebacker Randell Johnson.
Kenny Ladler
News
The Bills placed safety Kenny Ladler on IR with an arm injury, ending his season. Ladler played in two games, making four tackles.

Seantrel Henderson

Kiko Alonso
News
Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso is pleased with his progress as he is three months removed from ACL surgery.

"I’ve started running already," Alonso told Buffalobills.com. "I’m just doing straight line running, so I’m doing everything but cutting right now. Obviously I’m progressing to full speed running. I’m doing everything, but I’m limited."

Alonso said his knee feels great. However, he is being cautious with his recovery, which usually takes 7-9 months after surgery.

"My knee feels great," he said. "It definitely doesn’t feel like there’s anything wrong with it. It’s just a matter of time. You’ve got to let that ligament heal and strengthen the muscles around it. It feels probably where it should be right now."
