Keshawn Martin
News
The Texans received minor contributions from several role players in a Week 5 loss to the Cowboys.

Alfred Blue took a backseat to a healthy Arian Foster and as result, he was limited to 16 yards on five carries. In the passing game, Ryan Griffin, Garrett Graham and Keshawn Martin each caught one pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick. Griffin logged eight yards, while Martin had seven yards and Graham only had three in a 23-20 overtime defeat.

Garrett Graham
News

Damaris Johnson actually did play a big impact, finishing with 62 yards on three receptions. He caught every pass thrown his way. Johnson's 62 yards was good for second on the team.

Arian Foster
News
Though he looked risky coming into the season, Texans running back Arian Foster has been as reliable as ever so far, rushing for more than 100 yards in four of the team's first five games and scoring two touchdowns in two straight.

It's not surprising, then, to see him ranked among the top running backs for Week 7 at Pittsburgh, but would you believe he's No. 1, ahead of even DeMarco Murray?

For Jamey Eisenberg, he is anyway, and Dave Richard ranks him second, behind only Murray. The Steelers aren't even an especially favorable matchup for running backs. Granted, the only good one they've faced is Ben Tate (twice), but they rank 15th against the run, giving up 111.2 yards per game, and are in the middle of the pack in terms of Fantasy points per game allowed to running backs.

Granted, you weren't going to sit him regardless of where Jamey and Dave ranked him, but let their ranking be reassurance to you that you indeed have one of the greatest assets in the game in Foster.

Kareem Jackson
News
The Texans have designated the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 4 matchup with the Bills: quarterback Tom Savage, safeties Shiloh Keo (calf) and Eddie Pleasant (ankle), linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee), cornerback A.J. Bouye (groin), wide receiver DeVier Posey and offensive tackle Jeff Adams.

Bouye was questionable to play this week, while Keo, Pleasant and Clowney had all been previously ruled out. Running back Arian Foster (hamstring) and punter Shane Lechler (hip) are active after being listed as questionable. Wide receiver Andre Johnson (ankle), defensive ends Jared Crick (neck) and Tim Jamison (groin), cornerbacks Kareem Jackson (thigh) and Johnathan Joseph (foot/ankle, neck), safety D.J. Swearinger (elbow, hip) and guard Ben Jones (knee) are all active for the game.

News
The following players have been ruled inactive for the Texans Week 5 at Dallas: QB Tom Savage, WR DeVier Posey, CB Darryl Morris, CB A.J. Bouye, S Eddie Pleasant, T Jeff Adams and LB Jadeveon Clowney.

Andre Johnson
News
If you look and Jamey Eisenberg's and Dave Richard's rankings for Week 7, you'll see that Texans wide receivers Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins are separated by just two spots for one and one spot for the other. That, folks, is as close as it gets.

And it's easy to see why. The two have gone back and forth in terms of production all season. Lately, Johnson has been the hot hand, catching seven passes for 99 yards and a touchdown compared to Hopkins' one grab for 12 yards Week 6 against Indianapolis, and as you can see, Jamey at least leans his way

But I think it should be more than a lean. I think the distinction between Johnson and Hopkins is great enough that Johnnson is a start at Pittsburgh and Hopkins, at least in standard 12-team leagues, is a sit.

They key is in the targets. Johnson has 54 to Hopkins' 33, and it's been that way from the beginning. Johnson has gotten at least seven targets every week. Hopkins has only once gotten that many.

The matchup isn't favorable enough for a quarterback of Ryan Fitzpatrick's caliber to sustain two wide receivers. The Steelers rank seventh against the pass, allowing 225.8 yards per game, and have given up the seventh-fewest Fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

News
Texans running back Alfred Blue had just three carries Thursday against the Colts.

Blue will take on the Steelers Week 7.

Brooks Reed
News
Texans outside linebacker Brooks Reed said he expects to play Monday night against Pittsburgh despite a groin injury he sustained in Week 6 against Indianapolis.

Bullock's chance came in the beginning of the fourth quarter. On the second play of the drive, Bullock missed wide right on a 37 yard attempt. Bullock also had a 32 yard attempt earlier in the contest. He made the kick, but it was wiped out by a penalty that extended the drive. The Texans wound up scoring a touchdown on the drive. Alfred Blue took a backseat to a healthy Arian Foster and as result, he was limited to 16 yards on five carries. Griffin logged eight yards, while Martin had seven yards and Graham only had three in a 23-20 overtime defeat.

Ryan Fitzpatrick
News
Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick tossed one touchdown Thursday against the Colts.

Fitzpatrick completed 15 of 23 passes for 212 yards and a score. He was pressured constantly during the contest, taking five sacks. Fitzpatrick started slow, not completing a pass until his eighth dropback. After four straight incompletions, he was sacked twice. He did manage to draw a defensive pass interference call on his seventh dropback, so it was a little better than it looked. After that, Fitzpatrick turned out a solid game until the final drive. Jonathan Grimes
News
Texans running back Arian Foster was expected to receive his usual workload in his return in Week 4 against the Bills, but Alfred Blue actually ended up with more rushing attempts in the win.

Of course, that doesn't tell the whole tale. Foster was ineffective with his eight carries, as he rushed the ball for just 6 yards in the win. Blue wasn't much better, finishing with 9 yards on his nine carries. Foster did shine in the passing game, hauling in seven passes for 55 yards, to Blue's two receptions.

The interesting thing about Sunday's game was how little Jonathan Grimes figured into it. It appears as if Blue and Foster might be the tandem going forward, though it is possible Grimes saw more of the field than the standard box score might indicate.

Foster might not have been fully healthy Sunday, which could explain his somewhat limited role. With another week of rest, however, he should improve next week, which will only be bad news for Blue. He looks like just a handcuff option for Foster owners, given his lack of usage in passing downs.
