Da'Rick Rogers
News
Despite his struggles in the playoff loss to New England, Colts wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers believes he has proven himself and should be trusted by his team.

Rogers dropped two passes and went without a catch among four targets against the Patriots. But he was far more productive than expected with Indianapolis, which signed him after he was waived by Buffalo in August. Rogers caught 14 passes for 192 yards, peaking with a 107-yard, two-score performance against Tennessee.

"I believe I showed the Colts that they can trust me, that I can come to work and be professional every day," he told ESPN.

Joe Reitz
News
The Colts made an exclusive rights tender to outside linebacker Cam Johnson and made qualifying offers to restricted free agents cornerback Josh Gordy and guard Joe Reitz.
Josh Lenz
News
The Colts have listed the following players as inactive for Saturday's playoff battle against the Patriots: Josh Lenz, Sheldon Price, Daniel Adongo, Khaled Holmes, Joe Reitz, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Deion Branch.
Josh McNary
News
The following players on the injury report have been ruled active for the Colts in a playoff clash Saturday night against the Patriots: linebacker Josh McNary (concision), defensive back LaRon Landry (concussion) and defensive lineman Aubrayo Franklin (non-injury related).
Reggie Wayne
News
Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne continues to make progress in his recovery from a torn ACL, and he told a local radio station he expects to receive clearance soon.

"I should be cleared for football activity on the 25th," Wayne told WNDE.com Tuesday. "I'm way ahead of schedule. I feel great."

Wayne underwent surgery in October and could be cleared after six months. He expects to be ready for the start of training camp, after finishing the 2013 season with 503 yards on 38 receptions in seven games.

Knee - Probable for start of training camp
Arthur Jones
News
New Colts defensive lineman Arthur Jones will line up in different positions and allow Indy to use various combinations up front, reports ESPN.com.

“I’m not going to pigeonhole by saying he’s an inside guy or an outside guy,” coach Chuck Pagano said. “He brings position flexibility to our front. He’s a sub-rusher on third down. He can give you inside push, he can beat guys one-on-one. He has sack numbers for an inside guy.”

Jones posted 53 tackles and four sacks with the Ravens last year.

Martell Webb
News
The Colts signed guard Zach Allen, center Thomas Austin, linebacker Alan Baxter, cornerback Marcus Burley, quarterback Chandler Harnish and tight end Martell Webb to reserve/futures contracts.
Jack Breckner

Aaron Morgan
News
The Buccaneers announced Wednesday they waived defensive end Aaron Morgan. The fourth-year pro has six career tackles in 18 games between the Jaguars and Bucs.
Ricardo Mathews
News
The Texans have signed defensive lineman Ricardo Mathews to a contract. Originally a seventh-round pick of the Colts, Mathews sparingly played last year. He'll compete for a roster spot in training camp.
Delano Howell
News
The Colts announced a slew of roster moves Tuesday. Linebacker Josh McNary was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster, tight end Justice Cunningham and wide receiver David Reed were waived, and Delano Howell was placed on injured reserve.
Anthony Castonzo
News
Colts inside linebacker Pat Angerer has been listed as doubtful for the season opener with a concussion, the team has announced. Backup inside linebacker Kavell Conner (ankle) is out while defensive end Fili Moala (foot) and wide receiver David Reed (head) are both questionable.

Listed as probable on the injury report are running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo (knee), tight end Coby Fleener (knee), inside linebacker Mario Harvey (knee), safety Joe Lefeged (knee) and offensive lineman Mike McGlynn (knee).

Sheldon Price
News
The Colts have listed the following players as inactive for Saturday's playoff battle against the Patriots: Josh Lenz, Sheldon Price, Daniel Adongo, Khaled Holmes, Joe Reitz, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Deion Branch.
Vick Ballard
News
All signs point to Colts running back Vick Ballard being ready for training camp, reports ESPN.com. Ballard tore his ACL in Week 2 last season, making a cut in practice.

The website says Ballard won't necessarily be the No. 3 back behind Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw, noting Richardson flopped last year and Bradshaw (neck) needs to prove he can stay healthy.

Ballard ran for 814 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie in 2012.

Injury
Knee - Questionable for start of training camp
Fili Moala
News
The Colts re-signed defensive end Fili Moala, reports the Indianapolis Star. He played in every game last season, starting six, and matched his career high with 26 tackles.
Jerrell Freeman
News
Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman has been a one-man wrecking crew during the team's three-game win streak, producing 29 tackles, four forced fumbles, two sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery. His six forced fumbles this season are a franchise record.

"As you get seasoned, you try to bring more to your game, and that was one of the things: try to get turnovers, try to get the ball out, get interceptions," Freeman told the Indianapolis Star. "However I can get the ball and give it back to the offense."

Greg Toler
News
Colts cornerback Greg Toler will undergo surgery for his torn groin and be out 4-6 weeks, reports the Indianapolis Star.
Montori Hughes
News
The Colts put defensive tackle Montori Hughes (knee) on injured reserve and signed linebacker Alan Baxter to their practice squad.
Daniel Adongo
News
The Colts have listed the following players as inactive for Saturday's playoff battle against the Patriots: Josh Lenz, Sheldon Price, Daniel Adongo, Khaled Holmes, Joe Reitz, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Deion Branch.
Carson Wiggs
News
The Colts signed free agent kicker Carson Wiggs and waived guard Zach Allen
Weslye Saunders
News
The Colts are in largely good health for Saturday's Wild Card playoff game against the Chiefs, as their inactive list is made up of healthy scratches, with the exception of injured defensive lineman Fili Moala (knee).

Joining Moala on the inactive list are linebacker Daniel Adongo, defensive backs Sheldon Price and Cassius Vaughn, tight end Weslye Saunders and offensive linemen Khaled Holmes and Joe Reitz.

Andy Studebaker
News
The Colts made two roster moves Wednesday. They signed running back Dan Herron off the Bengals' practice squad and signed free agent linebacker Andy Studebaker to the active roster.
Samson Satele
News
The Colts parted ways with center Samson Satele on Thursday. The Denver Post was first to report the news. Satele has started 98 games over seven seasons but was a weak link for the Indy O-line in 2013. He was due $4 million in 2014.
Bjoern Werner
News
Colts general manager Ryan Grigson has challenged 2013 first-round pick and outside linebacker Bjoern Werner to bulk up in the offseason.

"He knows he needs to get stronger. He knows that," Grigson said in his postseason press conference.

Grigson did add that he felt Werner got better against the run as the year progressed. Werner started just one game in 2013 and managed 18 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.

Matt Hasselbeck
News
Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck received some playing time Week 17.

The Colts decided to pull Andrew Luck in the third quarter in order to preserve his health for the playoffs. Hasselbeck completed three of his four attempts, for 25 yards. He also had one rush for -1 yards.

Khaled Holmes
News
Khaled Holmes, who played 12 snaps last season, has the inside track on the Colts' starting center job, reports ESPN.com. "He's big, he's athletic and he's very, very bright," coach Chuck Pagano told the website. "He has great [football instincts]. From a mental standpoint, it's all there."

Indy cut Samson Satele and seems prepared to go with Holmes, a fourth-round pick last year.

Marcus Burley
News
The Colts signed guard Zach Allen, center Thomas Austin, linebacker Alan Baxter, cornerback Marcus Burley, quarterback Chandler Harnish and tight end Martell Webb to reserve/futures contracts.
T.Y. Hilton
News
After Reggie Wayne tore his ACL last season at Houston it was widely assumed that Colts wideout T.Y. Hilton would assume the No. 1 receiver role in the passing game. However, Hilton's numbers didn't really live up to expectations until very late in the season. He scored five touchdowns in 2013 over two of the 16 games he played in. He had over 100 yards in five games and under 70 yards in 10 games -- but still managed to top 1,000 yards on the season.

"We all know he's an explosive guy and a vertical guy and he can make the big plays, we've seen the big plays," Colts coach Chuck Pagano said of Hilton at the NFL Owners Meeting in Orlando. "Did he have to do some of the other stuff because of the absence of Reggie? We had to be creative, we had to move him around, we couldn't sit him in one spot or play him in one spot. We had to do some things because we knew that they were going to roll the coverage to him, they were going to double him, put a guy up on his nose, disrupt him at the line of scrimmage and have a guy over the top, all those things. We had to do a bunch of different things just to try and get him loose, get him free."

The feeling now is that the arrival of Hakeem Nicks will put Hilton in a position where he'll see less double coverage and become a deep-ball threat, albeit exclusively. Nicks and Wayne should keep it tough on Hilton from getting close to the 138 targets he had last regular season.

Thomas Austin
News
The Colts signed guard Zach Allen, center Thomas Austin, linebacker Alan Baxter, cornerback Marcus Burley, quarterback Chandler Harnish and tight end Martell Webb to reserve/futures contracts.
D'Qwell Jackson
News
The Colts announced Thursday the signing of veteran linebacker D'Qwell Jackson, who is expected to come in and start right away in the middle of their defense.

Jackson was a fixture in the Browns defense for many years, totaling at least 110 tackles in each of his last three seasons while contributing a number of sacks, passes defensed and interceptions along the way. He hasn't missed a game in three seasons.

Ricky Jean Francois
News
Though the Colts entered the Wild Card game against the Chiefs with an extensive list of injured players on the defensive side of the ball, all but one was able to play Saturday. Among the 10 players listed on the injury report, only defensive lineman Fili Moala (knee) was unable to play.

The list of Colts defenders able to play through injuries reads as follows: defensive backs Sergio Brown (groin), Darius Butler (quadriceps), Vontae Davis (groin) and Greg Toler (groin); linebackers Bjoern Werner (ankle) and Robert Mathis (not injury related); and defensive linemen Cory Redding (shoulder), Ricky Jean Francois (foot) and Aubrayo Franklin (knee).

Chandler Harnish
News
The Colts signed guard Zach Allen, center Thomas Austin, linebacker Alan Baxter, cornerback Marcus Burley, quarterback Chandler Harnish and tight end Martell Webb to reserve/futures contracts.
Jack Doyle
News
The Colts received minor contributions from several role players during Sunday's playoff loss to the Patriots.

Griff Whalen made a few big plays to stretch the field for Indianapolis and finished the game with 67 yards on five catches. Jack Doyle had one catch for a 4-yard gain while Da'Rick Rogers, who was supposed to assume Darrius Heyward-Bey's role, was targeted four times and held without a catch in a 43-22 loss.
Andrew Luck
News
Free agent receiver Hakeem Nicks told ESPN he can see himself catching passes from the Colts' Andrew Luck, the Panthers' Cam Newton or the Chargers' Philip Rivers. Nicks failed to catch a touchdown pass with the Giants last season.

"Players have already started to reach out to me from other teams saying they would love for me to come join them," Nicks said. "I just want to make it clear that I want a long-term deal and I want to be happy. I'm excited about talking to teams and making it work."

Nicks earlier said he was open to a one-year deal.

Sergio Brown
News
The Colts re-signed safety Sergio Brown, a special teams standout.
Deion Branch
News
The Colts have listed the following players as inactive for Saturday's playoff battle against the Patriots: Josh Lenz, Sheldon Price, Daniel Adongo, Khaled Holmes, Joe Reitz, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Deion Branch.
Josh Gordy
News
The Colts made an exclusive rights tender to outside linebacker Cam Johnson and made qualifying offers to restricted free agents cornerback Josh Gordy and guard Joe Reitz.
Cory Redding

Hakeem Nicks
News
Giants coach Tom Coughlin said at the NFL owners meeting that Colts receiver Hakeem Nicks, who signed with Indianapolis as a free agent after five seasons in New York, probably needed a change for his career.

"Two years ago he was probably one of the best receivers in the NFL," Coughlin said. "He's had some nicks, he's had some things he had to deal with, the production was not where it should have been last year. We wish Hakeem success, nothing but the best for him. Perhaps this is what he needed, the change he needed. If he re-establishes himself in Indianapolis they'll have one hell of a football team."

Nicks signed a one-year deal with the Colts. He had just 56 catches for 896 yards and no touchdowns in 2013.

Chris Rainey
News
The Colts announced Monday they placed running back Chris Rainey on injured reserve to clear a roster spot for Tashard Choice. Rainey appeared in two games for the Colts, primarily appearing on special teams.
Lance Louis
News
The Colts have signed guard Lance Louis to a reserve-futures contract. Louis played for Chicago and Miami and started 28 NFL games.
Stanley Havili
News
Colts fullback Stanley Havili was forced out of Saturday's Divisional Playoff game against the Patriots with a right wrist injury.

Havili sustained the injury on the final play of the third quarter and was unable to return for the remainder of the game. He was targeted three times and finished with one catch for a 4-yard gain in a 43-22 defeat.
Josh Chapman
News
Colts defensive lineman Josh Chapman (knee) is active and in uniform, as expected for Week 11 against the Titans. Chapman was listed on the injury report as probable, and was expected to play.
Phil Costa
News
The Colts signed free-agent offensive lineman Phil Costa to a two-year deal Thursday, worth $2.7 million, according to the Indianapolis Star. The deal could be worth up to $3.5 million if he hits playing time incentives, though he played in just three games in each of the last two seasons.
Alan Baxter
News
The Colts signed guard Zach Allen, center Thomas Austin, linebacker Alan Baxter, cornerback Marcus Burley, quarterback Chandler Harnish and tight end Martell Webb to reserve/futures contracts.
Jeris Pendleton
News
The Colts have elevated defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton and cornerback Sheldon Price from their practice squad to their live roster.

Erik Walden
News
The one-game suspension for Colts linebacker Erik Walden was upheld Tuesday. Walden had appealed his suspension for head-butting Delanie Walker last week.
Matt Overton

Griff Whalen
News
Colts receiver Griff Whalen, who spent time this year on the practice squad, has become one of Andrew Luck's favorite targets. Whalen has been targeted 20 times over the last three games, catching 15 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

According to ESPN.com, Whalen has a built-in advantage because he played with Luck in Stanford. Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton was their offensive coordinator at Stanford, "and he’s using the same passing plays he used while coaching them in college," the report said.

Hamilton told the website that "the quarterback-receiver dynamic is all about trust and the quarterback has to trust that the receiver is going to get to the spot and or beat man coverage."

The Colts host the Chiefs in a playoff game Saturday.

Dan Herron
News
The Colts made a slew of roster moves Tuesday, which included placing running back Dan Herron and Mario Harvey on season-ending injured reserve.

The Colts also elevated outside linebacker Daniel Adongo and tackle Xavier Nixon from the practice squad to the active roster, while adding fullback Robert Hughes and defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton to the practice squad.

Corey Lynch
News
Colts running back Tashard Choice, tight end Jack Doyle and defensive back Corey Lynch all made minimal contributions on offense Week 15 against the Texans.

Choice played the biggest role. Serving as the backup running back after Donald Brown went down with a stinger, he spelled Trent Richardson late in the blowout win, rushing five times for 18 yards. Doyle caught one pass for minus-4 yards. Lynch had a 3-yard carry on a fake punt that failed to pick up the first down.

Ahmad Bradshaw

Injury
Neck - Questionable for start of regular season
Lawrence Sidbury
News
Falcons DL Lawrence Sidbury, who entered the game with two sacks all season, doubled his total Week 12 against the Vikings. The two sacks were his only two tackles in the contest.
Trent Richardson
News

Cam Johnson
News
The Indianapolis Colts signed exclusive rights free agent outside linebacker Cam Johnson to a one-year deal. The team traded for him from the Niners last September. He had two tackles and six special teams stops over 12 games.
LaRon Landry
News
The following players on the injury report have been ruled active for the Colts in a playoff clash Saturday night against the Patriots: linebacker Josh McNary (concision), defensive back LaRon Landry (concussion) and defensive lineman Aubrayo Franklin (non-injury related).
Justin Hickman
News
The Colts signed linebacker Justin Hickman, an exclusive rights free agent. He did not play last season due to a serious foot injury.
Darius Butler
News
Colts defensive back Darius Butler was forced out of Saturday's Divisional Playoff game against the Patriots with a lower leg injury.

Butler sustained the injury early in the fourth quarter and was unable to return for the remainder of the game. He registered four total tackles (two solo) and one pass defended in a 43-22 defeat.
Pat McAfee
News
The Colts signed punter Pat McAfee to a five-year deal, he announced Friday on the NFL Network.

McAfee would have been an unrestricted free agent if he didn't sign the deal by Tuesday.

Vontae Davis
News
The Colts have kept cornerback Vontae Davis according to team owner Jim Irsay, who posted the announcement regarding his return on Twitter. There was some late speculation before the start of free agency that Davis would sign elsewhere but apparently the Colts were able to retain him on a four-year deal worth $39 million including $20 million guaranteed according to ESPN.

Davis, 25, started every game last season, making 46 tackles and an interception and defending 12 passes.

Donald Thomas
News
The Colts put guard Donald Thomas on injured reserve with a torn quad and waived/injured fullback Dan Moore.
Kelvin Sheppard
News
The Colts inactive list for Week 11 against the Titans did not feature much in the way of surprises Thursday, as all three players sidelined by injuries had already been ruled out: defensive backs Josh Gordy (groin), Delano Howell (neck) and Greg Toler (groin) were all inactive for the game due to injury.

They were joined on the inactive list by linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, defensive lineman Montori Hughes, wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers and offensive lineman Khaled Holmes.

Dwayne Allen
News
Colts tight end Dwayne Allen is fully recovered from a hip injury that derailed his 2013 season. In fact, he says he feels almost 110 percent.

That has general manager Ryan Grigson excited about Allen's 2014 season.

“Dwayne Allen, the guy’s a beast,” Grigson said. “Anyone who game plans against him or watches the tape, or Joe Fan that just sees him how he plays in the red zone, how he plays in traffic, how he blocks at the point of attack, the tempo he plays at and the ferocity he plays at, he’s a guy you want on your team.

“He’s doing very well and we look forward to him having a great year.”

Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill, who racked up 54 yards in his first playoff game, kept things rolling as he scored twice in Saturday's AFC Divisional Playoff game against the Patriots.

Brazill made a spectacular catch over a defender for a 38-yard touchdown with 4:43 left in the opening period. It was his first career postseason touchdown. He then came down with a 35-yard pass from Andrew Luck in the third quarter. He was targeted seven times and finished with two grabs for 73 yards and two touchdowns in a 43-22 defeat.
Coby Fleener
News
With Dwayne Allen fully recovered from his hip injury, the Colts plan to put him and fellow tight end Coby Fleener on the field a lot, often at the same time, reports ESPN.com.

“We love using tight ends like everybody else,” coach Chuck Pagano told the website. “But (Fleener) took a big step in Year 2 and played really good football for us and will continue to do that. Getting Dwayne back, we're going to have great options there. You get that inline blocker in Dwayne but don't forget that Dwayne is a heck of a pass receiver, too. So we can create a bunch of mismatches with those guys and get them out in space and get the matchups that you want. It's going to be a great situation.”

Pagano said having Allen and Fleener allows for multiple formations and "gives us a lot of flexibility there.”
