"We want to keep him as a player," Khan said. "He's not a part of the team now, obviously, but it's very important for him to get the help. It's the most important thing."

Blackmon is suspended indefinitely and is banned from being around the team or the Jaguars' facility. "We want him to get help and really beat this," Kahn said.

Jordan Todman
News
The Jaguars backup running backs didn't do much Week 3 against the Colts.

Denard Robinson actually led the team in rushing, but gained just 33 yards. He was targeted in the passing game one time, but failed to come up with the ball. Robinson received eight rushing attempts.

Jordan Todman got one carry, picking up 10 yards.

They'll look for more Week 4 against the Chargers.

Cody Booth
News
The Jaguars signed tight end Michael Egnew to their practice squad and waived offensive lineman Cody Booth, reports the National Football Post. He was released by the Lions last month.
Allen Hurns
News
Generally speaking, rookies are tough to rely on in Fantasy. They tend to produce inconsistent numbers while learning the game, making them incredibly tough to rely on from a week-to-week perspective. That has certainly been the case for Jaguars rookie Allen Hurns, who has sandwiched two double-digit Fantasy efforts around a near no-show in Week 2. Now that he has a rookie in Blake Bortles throwing it to him, why should we expect Hurns to be any more reliable moving forward?

Hurns has shown an impressive ability, thus far, to get open down the field. Even during his 2-catch, 13-yard stinker against Washington, he was open downfield and dropped a sure-fire long touchdown. Chad Henne might have lost faith in Hurns after that, as he failed to target him once in Week 3, but newly appointed starter Bortles looked Hurns way three times in the second half of Sunday's game, with the duo eventually hooking up for a 63-yard score.

The long touchdown is starting to become Hurns' signature play, and he will have real home-run potential for Fantasy. He will also likely certainly be wildly inconsistent, as both he and Bortles feel their way through their first weeks together in the NFL. Still, he has a chance to be one of the top rookie wideouts in the league this season, and is worth taking a chance on in waivers this week -- he is owned in just 41 percent of CBSSports.com leagues.

Will Ta'ufo'ou
News
The Jaguars backup pass catchers did little Week 3 against the Colts.

Will Ta'ufo'ou managed one catch for 28 yards. Mike Brown also had one catch, picking up 14 yards. Marcel Jensen gained 8 yards on one reception.

They'll take on the Chargers Week 4.

Brandon Linder
News
The Jaguars signed 2014 third-round draft pick guard Brandon Linder to a contract, the team announced Monday. Linder, the 93rd overall selection, is expected to compete for a starting job this year.
LaRoy Reynolds
News
The Jaguars had two open roster spots heading into Week 15 against the Bills, but were able to fill them internally. The Florida Times-Union reports the Jaguars activated linebacker LaRoy Reynolds from the suspended list, and brought back Allen Reisner (knee) from injured reserve Saturday.
Ziggy Hood
News
The Jaguars have signed defensive tackle Ziggy Hood according to the Florida Times-Union. Hood will likely work in a rotation along the D-line.

Hood started seven of 16 games with the Steelers last year after starting every game for them in 2012.

Cecil Shorts
News
Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts played all 60 snaps Sunday against the Colts after missing the first two games due to a hamstring injury. He was targeted 10 times, hauling in five catches for 35 yards and a touchdown.

"I felt good," Shorts said, per ESPN. "I tell you what, our training staff and our strength staff does a great job. They got me back real fast. It felt good to be back out there with the guys."

Dwayne Gratz
News
Jaguars defensive backs Alan Ball (abdomen) and Dwayne Gratz (ankle), along with defensive lineman Abry Jones (abdomen) are active for Week 2 against the Redskins. Ball was considered questionable for the game with his injury, but neither Gratz nor Jones was expected to miss any time.
Bryan Anger
News
The Jaguars have listed punter Bryan Anger (groin), guard Zane Beadles (calf), center Luke Bowanko (quad), defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (shoulder) and kicker Josh Scobee (quad) as probable for Week 1 against the Eagles, the team announced.
Denard Robinson
News
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said Monday running back Denard Robinson has earned the opportunity for more reps on offense. Robinson led Jacksonville in rushing during a 44-17 loss Week 3 against the Colts with 33 yards on eight carries.
John Lotulelei
News
The Jaguars have signed wide receiver Kenny Shaw, defensive tackle David Carter and linebacker Josh Hull while waiving/injured defensive tackle Jordan Miller, linebacker John Lotulelei and wide receiver Damian Copeland.
Injury
Undisclosed - IR. Out for season
Geno Hayes
News
Jaguars outside linebacker Geno Hayes, who underwent offseason knee surgery, was off from practice Saturday. He will work only every other day in camp, per The Associated Press, as the team does not want to push him.

Hayes racked up 58 tackles, 19 assists, one sack and two interceptions a year ago in his first season with Jacksonville.

Mickey Shuler
News
The Jaguars made the inevitable move to put Blake Bortles in Sunday, and he should remain the team's starting quarterback for the foreseeable future. What does that mean for the team's skill position players?

Bortles took over at halftime and led the team on three scoring drives in his first six times out. He showed a proclivity for big plays -- two touchdowns -- and big mistakes -- two interceptions -- and made full use of the team's weapons. He targeted eight players in the game, and it broke down like this:

Cecil Shorts: eight targets, five receptions, one touchdown (7 yards); Allen Hurns: three targets, one reception, one touchdown (63 yards). one interception; Allen Robinson: eight targets, five receptions, one interception; Jordan Todman: one target; Mickey Shuler: one target; Will Ta'ufo'ou: one target, one reception; Denard Robinson: one target; Toby Gerhart: one target, one reception

Marcel Jensen

Toby Gerhart
News
Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart has fallen flat on his face in his first three games as a feature back, and he started ceding playing time in Week 3 against the Colts.

Gerhart played 66 and 70 percent of the team's snaps in the first two games of the season, respectively, but that number dipped all the way to 50 percent Sunday. And, while Jordan Todman has served as the team's primary backup (21.1 percent of the snaps, first two games) it was converted college quarterback Denard Robinson who saw a step up in playing time in Week 3.

Robinson played 33 percent of the team's offensive snaps, after playing in just 11.4 percent in the first two games. And, though he did not have a high bar to clear, Robinson established new career-highs in carries (eight) and rushing yards (33) in the game.

The Jaguars gave Gerhart a three-year contract this offseason, but the early returns have not been promising; just ask any of Gerhart's Fantasy owners. Gerhart was drafted 41st overall on average this season, but might just be droppable at this point. Keep an eye on the team's playing time distribution, because Robinson might be an interesting sleeper if the team makes a change.

Luke Joeckel
News
Jaguars tackle Luke Joeckel underwent successful ankle surgery on Wednesday morning, the team has announced. The second overall pick in the 2013 draft is done for the year.
Sam Young
News
The Jaguars announced Wednesday a few changes to their starting lineup along the offensive line.

Rookie Luke Bowanko is replacing veteran Jacques McClendon as the team's starting center. The Jaguars also announced Sam Young will be the starting right tackle after the team released Cameron Bradfield Tuesday. Young will remain in the starting lineup until Austin Pasztor is ready to return from a fractured hand he suffered in the preseason.

Josh Wells
News
The Jaguars' inactive list for Week 2 against the Redskins features four injured players who were unable to take the field. They include defensive back Johnathan Cyprien (concussion), wide receiver Cecil Shorts (hamstring), tight end Clay Harbor (calf) and running back Storm Johnson (ankle).

The team also has Austin Pasztor, Tyler Shatley and Josh Wells inactive.

Telvin Smith
News
With the 144th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected outside linebacker Telvin Smith from Florida State.

Standing at 6-foot-3, 218 pounds, Smith is a rangy linebacker that has the versatility to convert to strong safety, if needed. He led FSU with 90 tackles with two sacks and three interceptions in 2013.
Tyson Alualu
News
Jaguars defensive end Tyson Alualu (elbow), cornerback Alan Ball (ankle), defensive end Andre Branch (neck), defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (ankle) and defensive tackle Roy Miller (shoulder) were all cleared to play Week 11 vs. Arizona. All five players were listed as probable.
Stephen Morris
News
The Jaguars have pared down their roster to 53 on Saturday by cutting 20 players.

The players on that list are: C Michael Brewster, G Drew Nowak, DE Gerald Rivers, QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Chad Bumphis, FB Eric Kettani, TE Brandon Barden, OT Cody Booth, DL Deandre Coleman, DT Ricky Heimuli, S Craig Loston, QB Stephen Morris, K/P Kasey Redfern, G Tyler Shatley, TE D.J. Tialavea, LB Marcus Whitfield, WR Kerry Taylor, S Sherrod Martin, LB Nate Stupar and CB Jamell Fleming.
Will Blackmon
News
The Jaguars announced the re-signing of defensive back Will Blackmon Tuesday, shortly after the open of free agency. Blackmon's deal is for two years, though the team did not announce financial terms for the 29-year-old.

Blackmon finished the 2013 season with 40 tackles, one interception and 10 passes defended in 15 games.

Mike Brown

Nathan Slaughter
News
For a few hours Wednesday, the Jaguars had two healthy receivers who have played in the NFL. That's how many receivers Jacksonville has lost. ESPN.com updated the team's woes at wideout:

Mike Brown went down with hamstring tightness Wednesday after a strong camp. It's unclear how long he'll be out.

Starter Cecil Shorts left the first practice July 25 with hamstring tightness too and has not practiced since. Rookie Allen Robinson strained his hamstring July 31 and will be out at least one more week. Tandon Doss is out indefinitely with a badly sprained ankle.

Rookie Damian Copeland went on IR on Monday with a wrist injury. Rookie Nathan Slaughter sprained his foot and is out several weeks. Ace Sanders, who caught 51 passes last year, took a leave of absence for "personal issues" and will face a four-game substance abuse suspension upon his return.

"Man, I've never seen anything like it," said receiver Kerry Taylor, who started four games last year. "I don't even know what to call it."
Injury
Foot - IR. Out for season

Jacques McClendon

Marcus Whitfield
News
The Jaguars have pared down their roster to 53 on Saturday by cutting 20 players.

The players on that list are: C Michael Brewster, G Drew Nowak, DE Gerald Rivers, QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Chad Bumphis, FB Eric Kettani, TE Brandon Barden, OT Cody Booth, DL Deandre Coleman, DT Ricky Heimuli, S Craig Loston, QB Stephen Morris, K/P Kasey Redfern, G Tyler Shatley, TE D.J. Tialavea, LB Marcus Whitfield, WR Kerry Taylor, S Sherrod Martin, LB Nate Stupar and CB Jamell Fleming.
Josh Scobee
News

Allen Robinson
News
Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson managed seven catches for 79 yards Week 3 against the Colts.

Robinson tied for the lead in targets, and led the club in catches during the game. Eight of his 10 targets came after Blake Bortles came into the game. Robinson will look for more Week 4 against the Chargers.

News
Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne was pulled in favor of Blake Bortles Week 3.

Henne completed 4 of 7 passes for 33 yards. He averaged just 4.7 yards per attempt. He did not throw any touchdowns or interceptions. With the team down 30-0 at the half, Henne was benched in favor of Bortles.

Henne will take on a backup role Week 4 against the Chargers.

Damian Copeland
