Bryant started all but one game last season and was in on 30 tackles with 1 1/2 sacks.

The following is a list of their other cuts: linebackers Monte Simmons and Daniel Adongo, safety Larry Asante, center Thomas Austin, cornerback Marshay Green, defensive end Lawrence Guy, quarterback Chandler Harnish, fullback Robert Hughes, tight end Dominique Jones, wide receivers Lanear Sampson, Jabin Sambrano and Jeremy Kelley, tackles Lee Ziemba and Bradley Sowell and nose tackle Martin Tevaseu.

"I wish I could have a more extended conversation with him," coach Gus Bradley told the website. "My feelings toward him haven't changed. I still care about him. To be able to sit down and visit with him, that part I miss."

Ta'ufo'ou had one catch for 5 yards.

The Jaguars are back in action Week 12 at Houston.

Ziggy Hood
News

Hood started seven of 16 games with the Steelers last year after starting every game for them in 2012.

News
As Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts enters the final year of his rookie contract, the 26-year-old must prove he can stay healthy and play 16 games, reports ESPN.com. Shorts missed 11 games over his first three seasons, including the last three games of 2013 with a sports hernia.

The website suggests the Jags should hold off on a contract extension until Shorts proves his durability.

Injury
Groin - Probable for start of training camp
Dwayne Gratz
News
The Jaguars have made QB Ricky Stanzi, CB Dwayne Gratz, RB Delone Carter, LB Geno Hayes, TE Allen Reisner, OL Patrick Lewis and DE Gerald Rivers inactive Week 17.

Both Hayes and Gratz were ruled out prior to Sunday. The other five players were not listed on the injury report, and are healthy scratches.

Ricky Stanzi

Bryan Anger
News
Jaguars backup rushers Denard Robinson, Will Ta'ufo'ou and Justin Forsett failed to do much against the Broncos Week 6.

Robinson picked up 1 carry for 2 yards. Ta'ufo'ou didn't fare much better, picking up 1 yard on the ground and 5 yards in the air. Forsett rushed once for no gain, but did have 18 yards on 3 catches. Even punter Bryan Anger got in on the action, but failed to pick up any yards on his only attempt.

They'll take on the Chargers Week 7.

Denard Robinson
News
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said Tuesday at the NFL owners meetings that running back Denard Robinson is preparing for a bigger role in 2014.

As a rookie in 2013, Robinson was limited to 20 carries for 66 yards, and his role was undefined after making the transition from college quarterback to NFL rusher.

"Around Week 14 last year, he said, 'Gus, what do I need to do?' And he has really competed," Bradley said. "I think he's up to 212 pounds and he came to us at 197. He has taken a different approach. He's coming in to get ready and he understands he's a running back."

John Lotulelei
News
Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny was ruled inactive Week 11 vs. Arizona because of a concussion. Posluszny, who came in as questionable, was replaced in the starting lineup by Russell Allen, who was replaced by John Lotulelei at outside linebacker.
Geno Hayes

Drake Nevis
News
The Jaguars have placed defensive tackles Brandon Deaderick and Roy Miller on IR with a shoulder injury that had him sidelined Sunday against Tennessee. They signed defensive tackles Kyle Love and Drake Nevis to take their place on the roster.
Brad Meester
News
Jaguars starting center Brad Meester will not be their starting center in 2014. He has announced his retirement following this season, per ESPN. Meester has served in that role since 2000, starting 193 of 194 games he has played during his career.
Toby Gerhart
News
We've heard and read a lot about what the Jaguars are expecting from Toby Gerhart, the latest of which being that the team figures he'll get more yards after contact than Maurice Jones-Drew had last season.

That expectation should happen as Gerhart consistently broke tackles over his limited reps with the Vikings since joining the NFL. In pretty much every game he had at least 10 carries in last year, Gerhart had at least one long run that involved him breaking tackles.

In a story soon to publish to CBSSports.com, I suggested Gerhart would be one of the best backs in the league if he was faster. He might have run a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash once upon a time but he doesn't have the same kind of jets as even the second-tier backs in the league. But he can and should do everything else for the Jaguars. I've warmed up to him as a middle- to low-end No. 2 Fantasy running back worth a Top 60 pick ... assuming the Jaguars don't draft another running back who could take work away from Gerhart.

Luke Joeckel
News
Jaguars tackle Luke Joeckel underwent successful ankle surgery on Wednesday morning, the team has announced. The second overall pick in the 2013 draft is done for the year.
Sam Young
News
The Jaguars have re-signed offensive tackle Sam Young, reports the team's official website.

Young will compete for a roster spot in training camp.

Michael Brewster
News
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley revealed Monday offensive guard Michael Brewster will miss the final two games of the season with a fractured ankle. Brewster was injured in Sunday's game against the Bills.
Tyson Alualu
News
Jaguars defensive end Tyson Alualu (elbow), cornerback Alan Ball (ankle), defensive end Andre Branch (neck), defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (ankle) and defensive tackle Roy Miller (shoulder) were all cleared to play Week 11 vs. Arizona. All five players were listed as probable.
Russell Allen
News
The Jaguars have announced that they have placed starting linebacker Russell Allen on IR. He sustained a concussion Sunday against Tennessee and will miss the last two games of the season.
Will Blackmon
News
The Jaguars announced the re-signing of defensive back Will Blackmon Tuesday, shortly after the open of free agency. Blackmon's deal is for two years, though the team did not announce financial terms for the 29-year-old.

Blackmon finished the 2013 season with 40 tackles, one interception and 10 passes defended in 15 games.

Jamell Fleming
News
The Jaguars have released an inactive list Sunday that includes injured wide receiver Stephen Burton (concussion) and running back Justin Forsett (foot).

The healthy inactives are wide receiver Jeremy Ebert, cornerback Jamell Fleming, defensive tackle Jeremy Mincey, quarterback Ricky Stanzi and guard Jacques McClendon.

Sherrod Martin
News
The Panthers placed safety Sherrod Martin (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Stephane Milhim
News
On Monday the Jaguars waived/injured receiver Taylor Price and offensive lineman Stephane Milhim, per the Florida Times-Union. They had been out of practice since camp got going.
Mike Brown
News
The Jaguars signed exclusive rights free agent receiver Mike Brown Wednesday. The terms of the contract are not immediately available.

Brown finished third on the team in receiving yards a year ago, finishing with 32 receptions for 446 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 11 games.

Winston Guy
News
Jaguars defensive back Winston Guy had his best game of the season Thursday, in a 27-20 win over the Texans in Week 14. Guy racked up eight tackles to finish third on the team, and nearly matching his total for the season.

Guy entered the game with just nine tackles in the first 10 games of his career.

Brandon Barden
News
The Titans have reported that they have pared down their roster by 10 players. Included are defensive tackles Zach Clayton and DaJohn Harris, safety Al Afalava, tackle Daniel Baldridge, tight end Brandon Barden (injured), linebacker Gary Guyton, defensive end Nigel Nicholas, running back Jalen Parmele, guard Kasey Studdard and wide receiver Dontel Watkins.

Guyton and Studdard boast some experience. The former was a part-time starter for Green Bay from 2009 to 2011 while the latter played extensively with Houston in 2009.

The Titans will make more cuts on Saturday.

Chris Prosinski
News
Jaguars S Josh Evans, LB Geno Hayes, DT Roy Miller, OL Uche Nwaneri, OL Austin Pasztor, S Chris Prosinski, K Josh Scobee and RB Jordan Todman are active Week 15 against the Bills.

With Maurice Jones-Drew inactive, Todman should see the majority of the work at running back. Scobee is dealing with a hip injury, but should be good to kick.

Johnathan Cyprien
News
Jaguars safety Johnathan Cyprien is looking forward to improving in his second year in 2014, reports the Florida Times-Union.

Cyprien will spend the next few months in Miami, "working on my strengths and weaknesses," before returning to the Jacksonville area for the Jaguars' offseason program.

"I'm no longer a rookie; I want to lift my game for the entire team and bring a new energy to the group," he said.

Cyprien felt he improved during the second half of the season. Aside from the one game he missed with a thigh bruise, he played every snap in his 15 games.

"I believe I did – things slowed down and things came to me and I was able to make more plays and be a better contributor to the team," he said. "It was just the growing process. That's very standard because with the learning curve, I had to start from somewhere."

Ace Sanders
News
Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said Thursday during a fan function that he's hoping receiver Ace Sanders can become a "Darren Sproles-type" of player, per the Florida Times-Union.

Sanders caught 51 passes for 484 yards and a touchdown in his rookie season, finishing in the Top 5 among receivers in receptions. According to ProFootballFocus.com Sanders caught 45 of his 51 passes within nine yards of the line of scrimmage, so he's basically on his way to being in that role. Sanders has diminutive height and excellent speed, just like Sproles.

Jacques McClendon
News
The Jaguars inactive list for Week 14 against the Texans doesn't feature much in the way of surprises, as running back Justin Forsett (foot), defensive back Josh Evans (shoulder) and wide receiver Stephen Burton (concussion) were all ruled out prior to the game.

Those three were joined on the sidelines by quarterback Ricky Stanzi, guard Jacques McClendon, wide receiver Jeremy Ebert and defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick

Josh Scobee
News
Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee was held in check Week 17 against Indianapolis.

Scobee hit a 37 yard field goal in the second quarter, but did not receive any other opportunites. He had one extra point attempt. Jacksonville only scored 10 points, so Scobee was not much of a factor.

Chad Bumphis
News
The Broncos signed receiver Chad Bumphis to their practice squad. A three-year starter at Mississippi State, Bumphis was waived by the Dolphins in the preseason.
Lamaar Thomas
