Marcedes Lewis
News
Jaguars wide receivers Marqise Lee led his team with four receptions and 65 yards in his team's 21-13 win over the Titans in Week 16.

The Jaguars managed to pick up just 124 receiving yards on the day and Lee was responsible for more than half of that total while seeing six targets. Allen Hurns was also targeted six times, picking up 26 yards on three receptions. Cecil Shorts caught just two of his seven targets for 15 yards but also completed a nine-yard pass.

Tight end Marcedes Lewis managed just six yards on two receptions but did secure the team's only receiving touchdown on a four-yard strike at the end of the first half. The Jaguars will hit the road to face the Texans in the season finale next Sunday.

J.T. Thomas
News
The Jaguars have continued contract talks with defensive end Tyson Alualu and linebacker J.T. Thomas, the Florida Times-Union reports.

The team has yet to decide whether to tender any of its restricted free agents. Both Alualu and Thomas received negative overall ratings from Pro Football Focus in 2014.

Roy Miller
News
Jaguars defensive lineman Roy Miller is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Wednesday, according to the Florida Times-Union on Monday. Miller hopes that the surgeon is able to repair his torn meniscus instead of removing it.

"The doctor is going in there to take a look at everything and hopefully we'll go with the quick route," Miller said. "If they can trim it, I'll be back on my feet the next day. If not, you have to wait for it to stitch together and then you take precautionary steps and that's maybe a couple of months."

Miller sat out the final two games of the season before opting for surgery. He signed a four-year, $16.25 million contract extension five days after the injury. His season ends with 30 tackles and one sack.

Marqise Lee
News
Jaguars wide receivers Marqise Lee left Sunday's season finale late with a leg injury. He sustained the injury on the final offensive drive of the game and never returned. He was held in check despite receiving eight targets from Blake Bortles. The rookie finished with just two catches for 8 yards.

Lee endured an inconsistent rookie campaign. In 13 games, he came down with 37 receptions for 422 yards and one score.

Injury
Abdomen - Missed Week 17 at Houston
Clay Harbor
News
The minor contributors outnumbered the major ones Sunday for the Jaguars - it's no wonder they lost badly to Dallas.

The best of the bunch was wideout Allen Robinson, who caught five passes for 60 yards. Tight end Clay Harbor chipped in with three catches for 28 yards while running back Jordan Todman added three receptions for 27 yards and two rushes for six yards. Also contributing were tight end Nic Jacobs (1-14) and wideouts Marqise Lee (1-13), Ace Sanders (1-10) and Allen Hurns (1-9).

Running back Toby Gerhart managed two yards on four carries for Jacksonville, which has embarked on its bye week.

Abry Jones
News
Jaguars defensive backs Alan Ball (abdomen) and Dwayne Gratz (ankle), along with defensive lineman Abry Jones (abdomen) are active for Week 2 against the Redskins. Ball was considered questionable for the game with his injury, but neither Gratz nor Jones was expected to miss any time.
Andre Branch
News
The Jaguars enter the final week of the season relatively healthy. Outside of defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee) who was ruled doubtful for Sunday's game against Houston, Jacksonville listed seven players as probable.

Those include quarterback Blake Bortles (foot), center Luke Bowanko (wrist), defensive end Andre Branch (groin), defensive end Chris Clemons (knee), running back Toby Gerhart (ribs), wide receiver Cecil Shorts III (shoulder) and wide receiver Tommy Streeter (abdomen).

Tandon Doss
News
The Jaguars have placed wide receiver Tandon Doss on IR with an ankle injury that knocked him out of the Thursday preseason game.

Ross managed his most productive season in 2013 with Baltimore, catching 19 passes for 305 yards.

Injury
Ankle - IR. Out for season
Paul Posluszny
News
Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny, who tore his pectoral muscle and missed the last nine weeks of the season, told the team's website he's recovering well from surgery and will be 100 percent for the offseason program starting in mid-April.

"That shouldn't be an issue for us," he said.

Posluszny posted six straight years of 100-plus tackles until making 69 in seven games this season.

Injury
Pectoral - IR. Out for season
Chris Clemons
News
The Cardinals have listed QB Drew Stanton, WR Brittan Golden, S Chris Clemons, LB Larry Foote, G Jonathan Cooper, G Anthony Steen and DE Kareem Martin as inactive Week 17 against the 49ers.

Stanton was ruled out prior to Sunday due to a knee injury. Foote came into the contest listed as doubtful. He's dealing with a knee issue. Jonathan Cooper, who entered the game questionable with a wrist injury, will not play. The other four players listed are healthy scratches.

Jeremy Deering
News
The Raiders re-signed free agent kicker Kevin Goessling and waived/injured safety Jeremy Deering.
Red Bryant
News
The Jaguars have signed defensive end Red Bryant a week after the Seahwaks released him in an attempt to create cap space. The deal with Jacksonville is for four years, per ESPN.

Bryant started all but one game last season and was in on 30 tackles with 1 1/2 sacks.

Craig Loston
News
Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart was among the notable players listed on the final injury report for Week 8 at home against Miami. Gerhart was listed as probable after missing two straight games with a foot injury. Craig Loston (hamstring) and Luke Bowanko were also labeled probable.

Dwayne Gratz (hip) was the only other player on the report listed as questionable, while Alan Ball (biceps) and Andre Branch (groin) were officially ruled out for Sunday.

Storm Johnson
News
Denard Robinson had emerged as the Jaguars' primary option at running back this season, but an injury will keep him out over the final three games. Unfortunately, none of his potential replacements did much to stand out in Week 15 against the Ravens.

Toby Gerhart predictably saw the most work for the Jaguars, but didn't do much with it. He rushed for 54 yards on 13 carries, but of which led the team, but didn't exactly impress. Fortunately for him, neither did Storm Johnson or Jordan Todman, who combined for just 26 yards on nine carries.

Sunday's was a tough matchup for the Jaguars backs, so they should have an easier time next week. However, even against a subpar Titans rushing defense, none of these backs are worth starting outside of the deepest Fantasy leagues for Week 16.

Justin Blackmon
News
Jaguars owner Shahid Khan said Friday he is "very optimistic" about wide receiver Justin Blackmon, who missed the 2014 season after being suspended indefinitely for a third violation of the league's substance abuse policy, being reinstated to the NFL.

"I think he's paid his dues and I think he's got his life together," Khan said, per The Florida Times-Union.

Injury
Suspension - Suspended indefinitely. Out for season
Ryan Davis
News
Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles (foot) and wide receiver Marqise Lee (elbow) are active for Thursday night's Week 16 matchup with the Titans.

Bortles was listed as questionable to play on the team's final injury report but was reported to be starting earlier Thursday. Lee was listed as probable to play after catching four of his 10 targets for 14 yards in Week 15.

Players who were on the team's final Week 16 injury report who are also active include defensive end Ryan Davis (hip) and safety Josh Evans (foot), both of whom were questionable to suit up Thursday.

Khairi Fortt
News
Defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Khairi Fortt (hamstring) are the lone Jaguars ruled out for the Thursday game against the Titans.

Among the questionables are defensive end Ryan Davis (hip), defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee), safety Josh Evans (foot) and wideout Tommy Streeter (abdomen).

Defensive end Chris Clemons (knee) and wide receiver Marqise Lee (elbow) are probable.

Injury
Hamstring - IR. Out for season.

Jordan Todman
News
Jaguars running back Jordan Todman shared the load with Toby Gerhart and scored his second touchdown of the season in Week 17 against Houston.

Todman came down with a 23-yard touchdown pass on a trick play. Quarterback Blake Bortles threw a screen pass to Cecil Shorts, who then threw a pass to Todman for the score in the third quarter. He carried the ball seven times for 52 yards and caught five of six targets for 46 yards and a score.

Gerhart took four handoffs for 8 yards and was not targets in the passing game.

Cody Booth
News
The Jaguars signed tight end Michael Egnew to their practice squad and waived offensive lineman Cody Booth, reports the National Football Post. He was released by the Lions last month.
Allen Hurns
News
Jaguars wideout Allen Hurns returned from an ankle injury in Week 17 against Houston. Hurns wasn't much of a factor, as he finished with two catches for 15 yards. He was targeted four times in a 23-17 defeat.

Hurns' rookie campaign comes to an end with 51 catches for 677 yards and six touchdowns.

Will Ta'ufo'ou
News
The Jaguars backup pass catchers were able to get in some work Week 4.

Jacksonville spread the ball around quite a bit, allowing 10 different receivers to come up with a reception. Allen Robinson made some noise, hauling in five passes for 38 yards. He was targeted seven times, which was second on the club.

Mike Brown had one catch for 12 yards. Fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou also hauled in one pass, gaining 4 yards. Nic Jacobs had the least yardage of all receivers on the day, but had the only touchdown. In the second quarter, Jacobs came down with a 2 yard touchdown pass from Blake Bortles.

They'll take on the Steelers Week 5.

Brandon Linder
News
Jaguars wideout Allen Hurns (ankle), running back Toby Gerhart (ankle) and guard Brandon Linder (knee) each exited with injuries in the first half of Sunday's season finale against Houston. According to the team's official website, both are questionable to return.
LaRoy Reynolds
News
The Jaguars have ruled out defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Khairi Fortt (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Texans.

Linebacker LaRoy Reynolds (neck) and wide receiver Tommy Streeter (abdominal strain) were both deemed as questionable, despite practicing Friday.

Meanwhile, quarterback Blake Bortles (right shoulder, left ankle), defensive end Chris Clemons (knee), safety Josh Evans (foot), linebacker Jeremiah George (ankle), running back Toby Gerhart (shoulder) and defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (foot) were ruled out Week 14.

Ziggy Hood
News
The Jaguars have signed defensive tackle Ziggy Hood according to the Florida Times-Union. Hood will likely work in a rotation along the D-line.

Hood started seven of 16 games with the Steelers last year after starting every game for them in 2012.

Cecil Shorts
News
The Florida Times-Union does not expect the Jaguars to re-sign impending free agent wideout Cecil Shorts. General manager Dave Caldwell, asked about Shorts, said merely that he has to talk to coaches about him.

Shorts played 13 games this season, catching 53 passes for 557 yards and a touchdown.

Dwayne Gratz
News
Jaguars starting cornerback Dwayne Gratz, cited for two misdemeanors last weekend, apologized to the team Wednesday and will be active for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, reports the Florida Times-Union. Gratz was cited for disorderly intoxication and trespassing by the Miami Beach Police.

Gratz has 32 tackles in nine games played this season.

Bryan Anger
News
The Jaguars have listed punter Bryan Anger (groin), guard Zane Beadles (calf), center Luke Bowanko (quad), defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (shoulder) and kicker Josh Scobee (quad) as probable for Week 1 against the Eagles, the team announced.
Denard Robinson
News
When asked if Denard Robinson will be the top running back option in 2015, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said that his role remains to be seen, per the Florida Times-Union.

"He was a pleasant surprise for us [in 2014] after his first year," Bradley said. "He came back stronger and bigger and really shocked us. He had a couple of games in a row [of 100 yards rushing] where he did some really nice things for us and it was unfortunate he had the [foot] injury at the end. We're really pleased with his progress and we're hopeful that he takes the next step. Where that takes him in the rotation, that's yet to be seen. He's doing a great job coming back from his injury. The future is bright for him."

Bradley also indicated that he envisions Toby Gerhart having a place with the team on first and second downs, which could cut into Robinson's playing time. Robinson had his season cut short last year due to a foot sprain. He rushed for 582 yards and four touchdowns in seven starts for Jacksonville. It remains to be seen if he'll have the edge over Gerhart and Storm Johnson for playing time under new offensive coordinator Greg Olson next season.

Injury
Foot - IR. Out for season
John Lotulelei
News
The Jaguars have signed wide receiver Kenny Shaw, defensive tackle David Carter and linebacker Josh Hull while waiving/injured defensive tackle Jordan Miller, linebacker John Lotulelei and wide receiver Damian Copeland.
Injury
Undisclosed - IR. Out for season
Geno Hayes
News
Jaguars outside linebacker Geno Hayes, who underwent offseason knee surgery, was off from practice Saturday. He will work only every other day in camp, per The Associated Press, as the team does not want to push him.

Hayes racked up 58 tackles, 19 assists, one sack and two interceptions a year ago in his first season with Jacksonville.

Tommie Campbell
News
Three ailing Jaguars have been placed on the inactive list for their Sunday game against Dallas. They are guard Brandon Linder (shoulder), defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Jeremiah George (ankle). All three had been ruled out earlier in the week.

The healthy scratches are offensive tackle Sam Young, cornerback Tommie Campbell, running back Storm Johnson and wideout Mike Brown.

Kasey Redfern
News
The Jaguars have pared down their roster to 53 on Saturday by cutting 20 players.

The players on that list are: C Michael Brewster, G Drew Nowak, DE Gerald Rivers, QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Chad Bumphis, FB Eric Kettani, TE Brandon Barden, OT Cody Booth, DL Deandre Coleman, DT Ricky Heimuli, S Craig Loston, QB Stephen Morris, K/P Kasey Redfern, G Tyler Shatley, TE D.J. Tialavea, LB Marcus Whitfield, WR Kerry Taylor, S Sherrod Martin, LB Nate Stupar and CB Jamell Fleming.
Marcel Jensen
News
The Jaguars put rookie tight end Marcel Jensen on injured reserve and signed tight end Mike Flacco, the younger brother of Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, reports the Florida Times-Union. Mike Flacco was in training camp with the Chargers.
Toby Gerhart
News
It appears Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart will have new role in 2015.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Jaguars are planning to move Gerhart around on offense at H-back in addition to running back. This also means the Jaguars will be in the market for additional help at running back.

Gerhart was plagued by injuries in 2014, which paved the way for Denard Robinson to assert himself as a potential starting running back down the road. Robinson, however, is injury prone himself, which goes back to his days as a standout quarterback in college at Michigan.

Robinson's 2014 season ended on injured reserve with a mid-foot sprain.

Gerhart's season ended with just 326 yards and a patry 3.2 yards per carry average. Robinson emerged late in the year and ran for 582 yards and held a 4.3 yards per carry average.

Luke Joeckel
News
Jaguars cornerback Dwayne Gratz (groin) and left tackle Luke Joeckel (concussion) are active for Sunday's game in Cincinnati after being listed as probable. Gratz has 23 tackles in seven games this season. Joeckel suffered the concussion Week 8 against Miami while blocking on a field-goal try.
Sam Young
News
With starting right tackle Austin Pasztor rupturing his hamstring Week 13, the Jaguars will replace him with rookie Josh Wells or veteran Sam Young, reports the Florida Times-Union. Wells filled in for Pasztor against the Giants, logging 41 snaps.

"Wells did a pretty good job when he stepped in," coach Gus Bradley told the paper. "The reason why we had him up [active] over Sam Young is because of his flexibility. He could play left tackle and right tackle. Sam does a good job at right tackle so we'll talk more about that, but it will be one of those two."

The Jaguars host the Texans on Sunday.

Josh Wells
News
With starting right tackle Austin Pasztor rupturing his hamstring Week 13, the Jaguars will replace him with rookie Josh Wells or veteran Sam Young, reports the Florida Times-Union. Wells filled in for Pasztor against the Giants, logging 41 snaps.

Telvin Smith
News
With the 144th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected outside linebacker Telvin Smith from Florida State.

Standing at 6-foot-3, 218 pounds, Smith is a rangy linebacker that has the versatility to convert to strong safety, if needed. He led FSU with 90 tackles with two sacks and three interceptions in 2013.
Tyson Alualu

Stephen Morris
News
The Jaguars have ruled Roy Miller (knee), Chris Smith, Tyler Shatley, Matt Daniels, Jeremy Harris, Tommy Streeter (abdomen) and Stephen Morris as inactive for Sunday's season finale against Houston.
Will Blackmon
News
The Jaguars waived cornerback Will Blackmon on Thursday, the team announced. The 30-year-old started 12 games in the last two seasons for the Jags, including four times in 2014. His season was cut short in November due to a finger injury.

Because of his previous production Blackmon will likely catch on with another team once he is officially waived.

Injury
Finger - IR. Out for season
Arrelious Benn
News
The Eagles released wide receiver Arrelious Benn with an injury settlement, according to ESPN on Saturday. Benn suffered a concussion in the third week of preseason, but it was a back injury that caused him to land on the injury reserve to start the season before he was officially waived by Philadelphia.
Injury
Back - IR. Out for season
Sherrod Martin
News
Despite having ruled out defensive end Andre Branch (groin), linebacker Jeremiah George (ankle) and guard Brandon Linder (shoulder) for their Sunday game against Dallas, the Jaguars are fairly healthy. All the others on their Friday injury report are probable, including quarterback Blake Bortles (left wrist).

The other injured probables are safeties Sherrod Martin (shoulder) and Josh Evans (shoulder), wideouts Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and Marqise Lee (ankle), running back Jordan Todman (quad) and linebacker Dekoda Watson (hamstring).

Matt Daniels
News
The Jaguars have ruled Roy Miller (knee), Chris Smith, Tyler Shatley, Matt Daniels, Jeremy Harris, Tommy Streeter (abdomen) and Stephen Morris as inactive for Sunday's season finale against Houston.

The Jaguars should have most of their probable players Week 3 against the Colts.

Alan Ball, Chris Clemons, Johnathan Cyprien, Toby Gerhart, Winston Guy Jr., Paul Posluszny, Cecil Shorts III and Mickey Shuler are all active and ready to go.

Ace Sanders

"We’re really excited about him. I know there are some things he needs to work on and the growth that will take place from this year to next year, we’re all excited about. It’s great that he ended up playing [as many games as] he did. I think his mindset now is, ‘What can I do to get better?’ I know he has to understand defenses better but also his mechanics, he’s really diving into that this offseason. I just sense from him that he’s a guy that wants to take the next step and when he has confidence like that and it builds through the offseason, I think he’s going to take another step."

Jacksonville ranked last in scoring in 2013 with 15.4 points per game. The team is hoping that new coordinator Greg Olson can develop the strong-armed Bortles, who accounted for 2,908 yards, 11 touchdowns and 18 turnovers as a rookie.

Starter Cecil Shorts left the first practice July 25 with hamstring tightness too and has not practiced since. Rookie Allen Robinson strained his hamstring July 31 and will be out at least one more week. Tandon Doss is out indefinitely with a badly sprained ankle.

Rookie Damian Copeland went on IR on Monday with a wrist injury. Rookie Nathan Slaughter sprained his foot and is out several weeks. Ace Sanders, who caught 51 passes last year, took a leave of absence for "personal issues" and will face a four-game substance abuse suspension upon his return.
