Marcedes Lewis
News
The Jaguars restructured the contract of tight end Marcedes Lewis, according to a report by Jacksonville.com.

Lewis did not receive an extension. This year will be the last year of his contract. The restructuring should reduce his cap number, which is currently $8.2 million.

Roy Miller
News
Jaguars defensive lineman Roy Miller is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Wednesday, according to the Florida Times-Union on Monday. Miller hopes that the surgeon is able to repair his torn meniscus instead of removing it.

"The doctor is going in there to take a look at everything and hopefully we'll go with the quick route," Miller said. "If they can trim it, I'll be back on my feet the next day. If not, you have to wait for it to stitch together and then you take precautionary steps and that's maybe a couple of months."

Miller sat out the final two games of the season before opting for surgery. He signed a four-year, $16.25 million contract extension five days after the injury. His season ends with 30 tackles and one sack.

Marqise Lee
News
Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee are expected to be the Jaguars' starting outside receivers this season, per the team's website. Justin Blackmon remains suspended indefinitely, and Cecil Shorts left the team via free agency.

Under this scenario, Allen Hurns would be a backup or possibly play the slot.

"The Jaguars like Lee and Robinson on the outside," the website said. "That’s where they envision them."

Fendi Onobun
News
The Jaguars signed fullback Eric Kettani and waived/injured tight end Fendi Onobun, who tore his quad and will undergo surgery.

Abdomen - Missed Week 17 at Houston
Clay Harbor
News
The minor contributors outnumbered the major ones Sunday for the Jaguars - it's no wonder they lost badly to Dallas.

The best of the bunch was wideout Allen Robinson, who caught five passes for 60 yards. Tight end Clay Harbor chipped in with three catches for 28 yards while running back Jordan Todman added three receptions for 27 yards and two rushes for six yards. Also contributing were tight end Nic Jacobs (1-14) and wideouts Marqise Lee (1-13), Ace Sanders (1-10) and Allen Hurns (1-9).

Running back Toby Gerhart managed two yards on four carries for Jacksonville, which has embarked on its bye week.

Abry Jones
News
Jaguars defensive backs Alan Ball (abdomen) and Dwayne Gratz (ankle), along with defensive lineman Abry Jones (abdomen) are active for Week 2 against the Redskins. Ball was considered questionable for the game with his injury, but neither Gratz nor Jones was expected to miss any time.
Jermey Parnell
News
The Jaguars made the signing of offensive tackle Jermey Parnell official on Wednesday, per the team's official website. He reportedly agreed to a five-year, $32-million deal with Jacksonville, after serving as the Cowboys' swing tackle last season. He graded 20th out of 84 offensive tackles last season, per Pro Football Focus.

Andre Branch
News
The Jaguars enter the final week of the season relatively healthy. Outside of defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee) who was ruled doubtful for Sunday's game against Houston, Jacksonville listed seven players as probable.

Those include quarterback Blake Bortles (foot), center Luke Bowanko (wrist), defensive end Andre Branch (groin), defensive end Chris Clemons (knee), running back Toby Gerhart (ribs), wide receiver Cecil Shorts III (shoulder) and wide receiver Tommy Streeter (abdomen).

Tandon Doss
News
The Jaguars have placed wide receiver Tandon Doss on IR with an ankle injury that knocked him out of the Thursday preseason game.

Ross managed his most productive season in 2013 with Baltimore, catching 19 passes for 305 yards.

Injury
Ankle - IR. Out for season
Paul Posluszny
News
Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny met with the media to discuss his contract extension, but Poz also discussed his injury rehab.

Posluszny was placed in injured reserve in October, after tearing his pectoral muscle, and he missed the rest of the season. Posluszny said he's back to 100 percent, per Jaguars.com, and he hopes to be cleared to begin the team's offseason program next week.

Posluszny is already running and lifting weights as normal.

Injury
Pectoral - IR. Out for season
Chris Clemons
News
The Cardinals have listed QB Drew Stanton, WR Brittan Golden, S Chris Clemons, LB Larry Foote, G Jonathan Cooper, G Anthony Steen and DE Kareem Martin as inactive Week 17 against the 49ers.

Stanton was ruled out prior to Sunday due to a knee injury. Foote came into the contest listed as doubtful. He's dealing with a knee issue. Jonathan Cooper, who entered the game questionable with a wrist injury, will not play. The other four players listed are healthy scratches.

Jeremy Deering
News
The Raiders re-signed free agent kicker Kevin Goessling and waived/injured safety Jeremy Deering.
Red Bryant
News
Defensive tackle Red Bryant was cut by the Jaguars on Thursday, according to the Florida Times-Union. He was due a $500,000 roster bonus on Sunday had the team retained him. The Jaguars cleared up $4.5 million in cap space with the move.

Bryant started all 16 games last season amassing 22 total tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. The 30-year-old was expendable after the Jaguars signed Jared Odrick, formerly of the Dolphins, in free agency.

Craig Loston
News
Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart was among the notable players listed on the final injury report for Week 8 at home against Miami. Gerhart was listed as probable after missing two straight games with a foot injury. Craig Loston (hamstring) and Luke Bowanko were also labeled probable.

Dwayne Gratz (hip) was the only other player on the report listed as questionable, while Alan Ball (biceps) and Andre Branch (groin) were officially ruled out for Sunday.

Storm Johnson
News
Denard Robinson had emerged as the Jaguars' primary option at running back this season, but an injury will keep him out over the final three games. Unfortunately, none of his potential replacements did much to stand out in Week 15 against the Ravens.

Toby Gerhart predictably saw the most work for the Jaguars, but didn't do much with it. He rushed for 54 yards on 13 carries, but of which led the team, but didn't exactly impress. Fortunately for him, neither did Storm Johnson or Jordan Todman, who combined for just 26 yards on nine carries.

Sunday's was a tough matchup for the Jaguars backs, so they should have an easier time next week. However, even against a subpar Titans rushing defense, none of these backs are worth starting outside of the deepest Fantasy leagues for Week 16.

Justin Blackmon
News
As far as the Jaguars are concerned, Justin Blackmon will not be lining up at receiver for them this season.

At least that's the approach Jacksonville is taking. Blackmon has been indefinitely suspended since Nov. 1 2013 for three violations of the substance-abuse policy under the old CBA.

"Our process hasn't changed," Caldwell said, via ESPN.com. "[We] plan to go without him, but if he emerges, he emerges, and he's going to go in with those top guys and compete with those other guys. Hopefully we're able to get some news, but if not we weren't planning on [having Blackmon]. We're just going to go [without him]."

Before he can re-join the Jaguars, he'll need to file an application for reinstatement, with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell making a decision within a 60-day window. The application letter would include details of the treatment he's received.

Since being selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2012 draft, Blackmon has only played in 20 games. He has 1,280 yards and six touchdowns in his career.

Suspension - Suspended indefinitely. Out for season
Ryan Davis
News
The Jaguars have re-signed exclusive rights free agent defensive end Ryan Davis to a new deal on Friday, per the Florida Times Union.

Davis, 26, signed with the Jaguars in 2012 as an undrafted free agent. He posted 6 1/2 sacks in 16 games last season for Jacksonville.

Khairi Fortt
News
Defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Khairi Fortt (hamstring) are the lone Jaguars ruled out for the Thursday game against the Titans.

Among the questionables are defensive end Ryan Davis (hip), defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee), safety Josh Evans (foot) and wideout Tommy Streeter (abdomen).

Defensive end Chris Clemons (knee) and wide receiver Marqise Lee (elbow) are probable.

Injury
Hamstring - IR. Out for season.
Davon House
News
Davon House is officially a member of the Jaguars, per the team's official website. He signed a four-year contract with the club, reportedly worth $25 million Wednesday.

House, who has spent his four seasons in the league with the Packers, has played 29 games in the last two years. He totaled 63 tackles with two interceptions and 20 passes defended over that two-year span.

Allen Hurns

Will Ta'ufo'ou
News
The Jaguars backup pass catchers were able to get in some work Week 4.

Jacksonville spread the ball around quite a bit, allowing 10 different receivers to come up with a reception. Allen Robinson made some noise, hauling in five passes for 38 yards. He was targeted seven times, which was second on the club.

Mike Brown had one catch for 12 yards. Fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou also hauled in one pass, gaining 4 yards. Nic Jacobs had the least yardage of all receivers on the day, but had the only touchdown. In the second quarter, Jacobs came down with a 2 yard touchdown pass from Blake Bortles.

They'll take on the Steelers Week 5.

Brandon Linder
News
Jaguars wideout Allen Hurns (ankle), running back Toby Gerhart (ankle) and guard Brandon Linder (knee) each exited with injuries in the first half of Sunday's season finale against Houston. According to the team's official website, both are questionable to return.
LaRoy Reynolds
News
The Jaguars have ruled out defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Khairi Fortt (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Texans.

Linebacker LaRoy Reynolds (neck) and wide receiver Tommy Streeter (abdominal strain) were both deemed as questionable, despite practicing Friday.

Meanwhile, quarterback Blake Bortles (right shoulder, left ankle), defensive end Chris Clemons (knee), safety Josh Evans (foot), linebacker Jeremiah George (ankle), running back Toby Gerhart (shoulder) and defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (foot) were ruled out Week 14.

Ziggy Hood
News
The Jaguars have signed defensive tackle Ziggy Hood according to the Florida Times-Union. Hood will likely work in a rotation along the D-line.

Hood started seven of 16 games with the Steelers last year after starting every game for them in 2012.

Dwayne Gratz
News
Jaguars starting cornerback Dwayne Gratz, cited for two misdemeanors last weekend, apologized to the team Wednesday and will be active for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, reports the Florida Times-Union. Gratz was cited for disorderly intoxication and trespassing by the Miami Beach Police.

Gratz has 32 tackles in nine games played this season.

Bryan Anger
News
The Jaguars have listed punter Bryan Anger (groin), guard Zane Beadles (calf), center Luke Bowanko (quad), defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (shoulder) and kicker Josh Scobee (quad) as probable for Week 1 against the Eagles, the team announced.
Stefen Wisniewski
News
Despite undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder in January, Jaguars center Stefen Wisniewski said the rehab is going well and his goal is to be ready by training camp, the team announced.

Wisniewski was signed by the team to compete for a starting role along the interior of the offensive line.

Denard Robinson
News
It appears Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart will have new role in 2015.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Jaguars are planning to move Gerhart around on offense at H-back in addition to running back. This also means the Jaguars will be in the market for additional help at running back.

Gerhart was plagued by injuries in 2014, which paved the way for Denard Robinson to assert himself as a potential starting running back down the road. Robinson, however, is injury prone himself, which goes back to his days as a standout quarterback in college at Michigan.

Robinson's 2014 season ended on injured reserve with a mid-foot sprain.

Gerhart's season ended with just 326 yards and a patry 3.2 yards per carry average. Robinson emerged late in the year and ran for 582 yards and held a 4.3 yards per carry average.

John Lotulelei
News
The Jaguars have signed wide receiver Kenny Shaw, defensive tackle David Carter and linebacker Josh Hull while waiving/injured defensive tackle Jordan Miller, linebacker John Lotulelei and wide receiver Damian Copeland.
Injury
Undisclosed - IR. Out for season
Geno Hayes
News
Jaguars outside linebacker Geno Hayes, who underwent offseason knee surgery, was off from practice Saturday. He will work only every other day in camp, per The Associated Press, as the team does not want to push him.

Hayes racked up 58 tackles, 19 assists, one sack and two interceptions a year ago in his first season with Jacksonville.

Tommie Campbell
News
Three ailing Jaguars have been placed on the inactive list for their Sunday game against Dallas. They are guard Brandon Linder (shoulder), defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Jeremiah George (ankle). All three had been ruled out earlier in the week.

The healthy scratches are offensive tackle Sam Young, cornerback Tommie Campbell, running back Storm Johnson and wideout Mike Brown.

Kasey Redfern
News
The Jaguars have pared down their roster to 53 on Saturday by cutting 20 players.

The players on that list are: C Michael Brewster, G Drew Nowak, DE Gerald Rivers, QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Chad Bumphis, FB Eric Kettani, TE Brandon Barden, OT Cody Booth, DL Deandre Coleman, DT Ricky Heimuli, S Craig Loston, QB Stephen Morris, K/P Kasey Redfern, G Tyler Shatley, TE D.J. Toby Gerhart
News
It appears Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart will have new role in 2015.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Jaguars are planning to move Gerhart around on offense at H-back in addition to running back. This also means the Jaguars will be in the market for additional help at running back.

Gerhart's season ended with just 326 yards and a patry 3.2 yards per carry average. Robinson emerged late in the year and ran for 582 yards and held a 4.3 yards per carry average.

Luke Joeckel
News
Jaguars offensive lineman Luke Joeckel says a healthy offseason has allowed him to develop more strength, which he hopes translates into a better 2015 season, reports the team's official website.

"I definitely can see growth this offseason," Joeckel said. "Going into last season, I didn't feel like I had gotten stronger, gotten bigger and that I was ready to go out and play. This offseason, I can see it in the weight room, and I'm excited to get into OTAs and training camp and see where I am."

Joeckel spent last offseason rehabbing a fractured ankle, but he said he been able to concentrate on adding more muscle to his frame this offseason.

"It's been going really well," he said. "Having a healthy offseason has been huge."

Sam Young
News
With starting right tackle Austin Pasztor rupturing his hamstring Week 13, the Jaguars will replace him with rookie Josh Wells or veteran Sam Young, reports the Florida Times-Union. Wells filled in for Pasztor against the Giants, logging 41 snaps.

"Wells did a pretty good job when he stepped in," coach Gus Bradley told the paper. "The reason why we had him up [active] over Sam Young is because of his flexibility. He could play left tackle and right tackle. Sam does a good job at right tackle so we'll talk more about that, but it will be one of those two."

The Jaguars host the Texans on Sunday.

Telvin Smith
News
With the 144th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected outside linebacker Telvin Smith from Florida State.

Standing at 6-foot-3, 218 pounds, Smith is a rangy linebacker that has the versatility to convert to strong safety, if needed. He led FSU with 90 tackles with two sacks and three interceptions in 2013.
Tyson Alualu
News
The Jaguars announced Sunday that the team has re-signed defensive lineman Tyson Alualu.

Alualu was reported to have a two-year deal for $6 million with the team Saturday. The former first-round pick recorded 30 tackles and two sacks in 2014.

Arrelious Benn
News

Julius Thomas
News
New Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas told SI.com he has already begun working with quarterback Blake Bortles.

"It’s exciting, that first time you get to work out with your new quarterback," he said. "We’ve got a couple thousand more reps to go, but I’m really looking forward to that chemistry and growing with that entire offense."

The expectations will be elevated for Thomas, who is coming off two great seasons with the Broncos. However, Thomas isn't out to prove he can have the same production without Peyton Manning throwing him passes.

"I think I’ve got to be a little bit cautious on trying to prove so much," he said. "I think I’ve just got to go out there and work my hardest, and do everything I can to win every route, and see what happens. I don’t want to set a goal of 'I gotta have these numbers.' I’m just going to work my hardest every day, do everything I can to become a better player, and do everything I can to help out my team and this offense."

Thomas is also confident he will be able to coexist on offense with veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis, who has been with the team since 2006.

"I don’t think we’ll have any problem playing together," he said. "I was actually talking to him this weekend. I ran into him; we both live in L.A. He’s a really good guy.
