Jimmy Wilson
News
Dolphins defensive back Jimmy Wilson left Week 4 against the Raiders with a left hip injury, according to the Sun Sentinel. Wilson picked off Matt McGloin in the third quarter for his first interception of the season. He finished with three tackles (two solo) and one pass defended.

The Dolphins have a bye next week before hosting the Packers in Week 6.

Branden Albert
News
Dolphins center Samson Satele and left tackle Branden Albert both went down with injuries in the fourth quarter of Week 4 against the Raiders. Albert left the game with a shoulder injury, while Satele exited with a leg injury. Both players were ruled questionable to return, but never did.

The Dolphins have a bye next week before hosting the Packers in Week 6.

Nate Garner
News
The Dolphins don't have many options to replace center Mike Pouncey, who is out for start of the season because of hip surgery, reports ESPN. He is expected to miss the next three to four months, which includes all of training camp, the preseason and the start of the regular season.

The report says the Dolphins have three options at this stage. They can go with undrafted second-year player Sam Brenner, who received second-team reps at center this offseason and filled in at guard last season for the suspended Richie Incognito. They can use versatile backup Nate Garner, who also played center last season in place of Pouncey for two games and could be the second in-house plan. The third option is to look for outside help via trade or free agency, which could be slim pickings at this stage of the offseason.

Whatever choice Miami makes, it's replacement plan won't be nearly as good as Pouncey. He is one of the top centers in the NFL and the drop off will be significant no matter who plays in Week 1.

Koa Misi
News
The following players were listed inactive for the Dolphins in London against the Raiders in Week 4: Knowshon Moreno (elbow), Mike Pouncey, Koa Misi (ankle), Chris McCain, Shelley Smith, Billy Turner and Randy Starks (back).

Special teamer: Justin Bethel, Cardinals; Matthew Slater, Patriots.

Caleb Sturgis
News
Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis was not asked to do much in a comfortable win over the Raiders in London.

Sturgis booted a 41-yard field goal on the opening drive of the game for his only kick of the night. He also added five extra points in a 38-14 victory.

Orleans Darkwa
News
The Dolphins received minor contributions from several role players in a convincing Week 4 win over the Raiders at Wembley Stadium.

Charles Clay and Rishard Matthews were each limited to two grabs. Clay caught passes for 15 and 17 yards in the first half and was held without a grab in the second half, finishing with 32 yards on four targets. Matthews finished with 27 yards.

Meanwhile, with the game well in hand, the Dolphins turned to Damien Williams and Orleans Darkwa in the rushing attack. Williams took six carries for 23 yards, while Darkwa had two yards on four carries.

Jamar Taylor
News
The Dolphins enter Week 1 against the Patriots without much in the way of injury concerns, as four players from the defensive side of the ball were able to play through their issues Sunday.

Defensive backs Walt Aikens (hand) and Jamar Taylor (hip) are active for Sunday's game, along with linebackers Koa Misi (shoulder) and Chris McCain (hip). All four were listed as probable for the game.

Michael Thomas
News
Dolphins defensive back Michael Thomas played in his first game for the team in Week 15 against the Patriots, and made an immediate impact.

Thomas was limited to two carries for 15 yards on the ground, and tacked on a 21-yard reception in a 34-15 defeat. Williams was held to just one carry for minus-3 yards.
Matt Moore
News
Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore got some action in Week 4 against the Raiders in London, but not in the circumstances he imagined to be in. With the game well in hand, Moore came in for Ryan Tannehill for the final three drives of the night. He did not attempt a pass and had two carries for minus-2 yards in a 38-14 victory.
Matt Hazel
News
The Dolphins have completed their series of cuts to pare down their roster to the league-mandated 53 heading into the regular season.

The dispatched offensive players are quarterback Seth Lobato, linemen Tony Hills, David Arkin, Sam Brenner and Evan Finkenberg , wideouts Kevin Cone and Matt Hazel, running backs Marcus Thigpen and Daniel Thomas and tight end Evan Wilson .

Among the defensive players let go are linemen Isaako Aaitui, Garrison Smith, Tevin Mims and D'Aundre Reed, linebacker Andrew Wilson and defensive backs Jordan Kovacs and Kevin Fogg. Placekicker Jake Rogers has also been waived.

The Dolphins have also placed defensive tackle on IR and defensive end Dion Jordan and safety Reshad Jones on the reserve/suspended list.

Samson Satele

Derrick Shelby
News
The Dolphins defense is mostly in good shape for Sunday's matchup against the Bills in Week 2, but they will be missing one key piece. Linebacker Koa Misi is inactive as a result of a knee injury suffered last week, though his absence was expected as he was listed as doubtful on the injury report.

Other than Misi, the rest of the team enters the game healthy enough to play. Linebackers Philip Wheeler (thumb) and Chris McCain (illness), defensive linemen Randy Starks (toe) and Derrick Shelby (knee), and defensive back Walt Aikens (hand) were all considered probable and are in uniform for the game.

Mike Wallace
News
Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace caught his third touchdown of the year in Week 4 against the Raiders in London.

Wallace caught a 16-yard pass from Ryan Tannehill to convert a third down on the final play of the first quarter. A couple of plays later he caught a screen pass and took it 13 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. He finished with three catches for 35 yards and a touchdown on four targets in a 38-14 victory.

Wallace has found the end zone three times through his first four games and is already two scores away from matching last year's total.

The Dolphins have a bye next week before hosting the Packers in Week 6.

Dallas Thomas
News
Dolphins coach Joe Philbin named Dallas Thomas one of the team's most improved players, and he has a good chance to start at left guard, according to the team's website. A third-round pick in last year's draft, Thomas played only four offensive snaps last season.

Thomas worked with the first team during spring drills and is much further along than he was in 2013. He stayed in South Florida throughout the offseason to get better prepared.

"You’ve got to know your material, you’ve got to know what you’re doing on the field because stuff happens so fast," Thomas said. "You’ve got to be able to just react to it and not even think about what’s happening on the field."

Brandon Gibson
News
Dolphins wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Brandon Gibson each received a healthy dose of targets in a convincing Week 4 win over the Raiders in London.

Landry, however, outperformed Gibson, caught all four of his targets, including a screen pass that went for a gain of 15 yards on the opening drive of the game. He finished 38 receiving yards. He also muffed a punt in the second quarter, his second in as many weeks.

Gibson was also targeted four times, but only caught half of the pass thrown his way. He caught a 9-yard pass from Ryan Tannehill on the opening play of the game. Gibson caught a 17-yard pass in the second quarter and was held without a grab in the second half. He finished with 26 receiving yards in a 38-14 victory.

Jordie Tripp
News
Five linebackers dot the injury report released by the Dolphins on Friday for their clash in London against the Raiders on Sunday. Koa Misi (ankle) is the lone player in the group that has been ruled out. Jonathan Freeny (calf), Jelani Jenkins (shoulder) and Philip Wheeler (thumb) are probable while Jordan Tripp (chest) is doubtful.

Also ruled out are running back Knowshon Moreno (elbow) and guard Shelley Smith (knee). Defensive end Terrence Fede (knee) and center Mike Pouncey (hip) are doubtful while tight end Charles Clay (knee) and guard Billy Turner (foot) are questionable. Cornerback Walt Aikens (hand) is probable.

Lamar Miller
News
Lamar Miller's time as a must-start Fantasy running back might have come to an end in Week 4, despite his two-touchdown performance in Sunday's win by the Dolphins over the Raiders.

Miller has absolutely thrived in Knowshon Moreno's absence, racking up 252 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns over the last three games, despite touching the ball more than 15 times just once. He has averaged 5.7 yards per carry in those three games, and looks like someone you will want to pencil in as a No. 2 back moving forward.

However, right now is also the perfect time to consider trading Miller. His value might never be higher than it is coming off Sunday's game, but Miami's Week 5 bye means you won't be able to take advantage of it. And, looming in Week 6 after the bye is the return of Knowshon Moreno, who is expected to take back his No. 1 role, even with how well Miller has played.

Miller's role is not going to disappear, of course -- he still had 15 touches in the team's opener, when Moreno played the whole game. However, you won't have a better chance to shop Miller than you do right now, so consider taking it if you get the chance to plug a hole elsewhere.

Kamal Johnson
Injury
Charles Clay
News
With the Dolphins winning big Week 4 at Oakland, tight end Charles Clay ended up playing fewer snaps than backup Dion Sims for the first time this year. Considering Clay is still nursing a knee injury, it's not too surprising. According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, he almost missed Week 3 against Kansas City with the injury, so the opportunity to rest was probably a welcome one.

That said, it's not a good omen for Clay's future Fantasy production. After breaking out with four games of 80 yards or more last year, Clay has yet to go for more than 32 in a game this season. If his knee is still bothering him, as his playing time Sunday would suggest, it would explain the drop in production. But when will he start feeling better?

Clay is certainly a player to monitor in Fantasy because of his production last year, but you'll want to see some kind of turnaround before you trust in him again.

Chris McCain
News
Dolphins linebacker Chris McCain did not make the trip to London for Week 4 against the Raiders because of a personal matter, the Miami Herald reports. McCain is away from the team to deal with a death in the family.

The Dolphins will have a bye next week before returning in Week 6 at home against Green Bay.

Jarvis Landry

Olivier Vernon
News
The Dolphins pass rush was held at bay in Sunday's 29-10 loss to the Bills, as the team ended up with no sacks in Week 2.

Linebackers Olivier Vernon and Cameron Wake combined for no sacks or tackles for losses in the game, and neither registered a quarterback hit either. Vernon racked up six tackles -- five solo -- while Wake had just one assisted stop.

Daryn Colledge
News
The Dolphins will open the season with Shelley Smith starting at right guard and Daryn Colledge at left guard, the Palm Beach Post reports.

"Now, it is all about performance," head coach Joe Philbin said. "You have to go out each and every Sunday and perform at a high level, and this is Week 1. I’m very confident. I think they deserved it and earned it."

Jason Trusnik
News
Dolphins linebackers Jelani Jenkins and Jason Trusnik were forced into larger-than-expected roles in Week 2 against the Bills, as a result of injuries on the depth chart.

Jenkins led the team with 14 tackles -- nine solo -- and Trusnik wasn't far behind, with 10 -- five solo. Neither accumulated any other stats in the 29-10 loss.

Tony Hills

The Dolphins have also placed defensive tackle on IR and defensive end Dion Jordan and safety Reshad Jones on the reserve/suspended list.

Dion Jordan
News
The drug suspension issued by the NFL against Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan will keep him sidelined until his eligibility to return on Oct. 20 at Chicago, per the Miami Herald.

Jordan will have missed six games by that time. He played in all 16 games as a rookie last season, contributing to 26 tackles and recording two sacks.

Ja'Wuan James
News
The Dolphins signed first-round draft pick Ja'Wuan James on Thursday following the final session of mandatory minicamp, reports ESPN.

James was taken No. 19 overall by Miami in an effort to fix its offensive line, which allowed a franchise-record 58 sacks last season. James is expected to start at right tackle for the Dolphins.

Seth Lobato
News

A.J. Francis
News
The Dolphins waived receivers Armon Binns and Ryan Spadola, tight end Brett Brackett, cornerback Steven Clarke, defensive end Rakim Cox, defensive tackle Cory Grissom and center Tyler Larsen. Miami also put defensive tackle A.J. Francis, running back Mike Gillislee and tight end Arthur Lynch on injured reserve, ending their seasons.

Will Davis
News
Center Mike Pouncey (illness) is the lone injured Dolphins player on the inactive list issued Sunday by the team.

The others who will not play are defensive tackle Isaako Aaitui, guard David Arkin, cornerback Will Davis, quarterback Pat Devlin, running back Mike Gillislee and tackle Jonathan Martin.

Brian Hartline
News
