Vladimir Ducasse
News
The following players were ruled inactive for the Vikings Sunday afternoon against the Buccaneers in Week 8: Zach Line, Gerald Hodges, Brandon Watts, Vladimir Ducasse, David Yankey, Scott Crichton and Kyle Rudolph.
Charles Johnson
News
Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater now has back-to-back 300-yard games, which doesn't mean as much for his Fantasy value as it does wide receiver Charles Johnson's. He has emerged as Bridgewater's go-to guy in recent weeks, averaging 71.0 yards over his last five games. And the targets have been pretty consistent for him as well. He had a four-target game in there, but otherwise, he's gotten at least seven every time.

Now, if Bridgewater regresses to 150 yards with a tough matchup Week 16 at Miami, it won't matter who's catching the ball, but at least in deeper leagues, Johnson is worth a look with the strides he and his quarterback have made together.

For more major takeaways from Week 15, be sure to check out my latest post to the Fantasy Football Today blog.

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson plans to file a lawsuit against the league after his suspension was upheld by arbitrator Harold Henderson Friday, and he could retire from the NFL if his lawsuit puts his chance for reinstatement at risk, ESPN.com reports.

"I've considered retiring from the NFL," Peterson said. "I still made $8 million dollars this year. ... I love playing football, don't get me wrong, but this situation is deeper than that. For me, it's like, 'Why should I continue to be a part of an organization or a business that handles players the way they do?'"

Peterson indicated that he's thought about "getting back into real estate" or "going after the Olympics," competing in the 200- and 400-meter dashes. Teddy Bridgewater
News
Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater got off to a very slow start in his NFL career, tossing five interceptions to just one touchdown in his first four games. However, continues to turn things around, as he put together another solid performance in Week 16 against the Dolphins.

Bridgewater tossed a pair of touchdowns to just one interception on 26 attempts Sunday, his fourth game with more scores than turnovers in the last five. He also passed for 259 yards, bringing his three-game total to 883 yards, by far the best stretch of his career.

Bridgewater now has 13 touchdowns to 11 interceptions on the season, however he has been much improved of late. Over the last eight games, heading into the season finale, Bridgewater has 12 touchdowns and six interceptions, while completing 65.5 percent of his passes and racking up 237.3 yards per game.

He hasn't been a Fantasy star, but he has certainly shown flashes of that kind of ability. He has at least 17 Fantasy points in each of his last five games, and could finish the season with a flourish in Week 17 against the Bears. Bridgewater looks like a keeper, and could be in the discussion as a starting Fantasy option for his second season in the league.
