Ryan Wendell
News
The Patriots have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's matchup with the Colts: defensive linemen Chandler Jones (hip) and Casey Walker, wide receiver Aaron Dobson, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, running back James White, offensive lineman Jordan Devey and safety Don Jones.

All four players listed as questionable for Sunday's game are active, including center Ryan Wendell (knee), offensive tackle Cameron Fleming (finger), defensive tackle Dominique Easley (knee) and safety Nate Ebner (finger). Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) and wide receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder) also active after being listed as probable to play.

Nate Solder
News
The Patriots started two rookies on the offensive line Monday for the first time since 2005. Cameron Fleming started at right guard and Bryan Stork started at center; both were fourth-round picks.

Dan Connolly started the first three games at center before starting at left guard against the Chiefs. The shuffling continued throughout the blowout loss as New England sought to find a combination that could protect Tom Brady. Left tackle Nate Solder was beaten badly on Tamba Hali's strip-sack in the third quarter, then got benched for Marcus Cannon.

Dont'a Hightower
News
The Patriots listed the following players as questionable for Week 16’s game at the New York Jets: Danny Aiken (finger), Kyle Arrington (hamstring), LeGarrette Blount (shoulder), Dan Connolly (knee), Julian Edelman (concussion), Cameron Fleming (ankle), Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), Chandler Jones (hip), Brandon LaFell (shoulder), Rob Ninkovich (heel), Shane Vereen (ankle) and Chris White (ankle).

Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) was the only player listed as probable. The Patriots did not have any players listed as out or doubtful.

The Patriots are 10 1/2-point favorites over the Jets.

Zach Moore
News
The Patriots ruled cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, offensive lineman Cameron Fleming, running back James White, linebacker Chris White, defensive lineman Dominique Easley and defensive lineman Zach Moore inactive for Week 15 against Miami.
Stephen Gostkowski
News
Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski was not asked to do much in Sunday's win over the Jets. He converted a 24-yard field goal in the third quarter and finished 1 for 1 with two extra points in a 17-16 victory.
Tyler Gaffney
News
The Patriots released six players and placed two on injured reserve to get down to the 75-man limit. Released were defensive lineman Ben Bass, defensive backs Jemea Thomas and Travis Hawkins, receivers Derrick Johnson and Wilson Van Hooser, and linebacker Deontae Skinner.

Bass played in two games with Dallas in 2012, but none since.

Chris White

Rob Gronkowski
News
When asked if he'll rest any of his starters, Patriots coach Bill Belichick told reporters he'll do what's best for the team. Because New England has clinched home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs and giving his history of late-season injuries, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe expects tight end Rob Gronkowski to sit out Sunday's regular season finale at home against Buffalo.

"We'll do the same thing we always do, so it won't be any different this week than it's been any other week, it won't be any different this year than it's been any other year: we'll do what we feel is best for our football team. Period. Whatever is best for our team, then that's what we'll try to do," Belichick said.

Gronkowski extended his scoring streak to three games in Week 16 against the Jets. He has 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. If Belichick rests Gronkowski, then Timothy Wright would likely get the start.

New England opened as an 8 1/2-point home favorite. The line has now dropped to 4 1/2 points.

Sealver Siliga
News
The Patriots have activated defensive tackle Sealver Siliga from the short-term injured reserve list to New England's 53-man roster on Saturday, according to ESPN. Siliga was sidelined since Week 3 against Oakland due to a foot injury. He is expected to play Sunday against San Diego.
Alfonzo Dennard
News
The Patriots have ruled the following players inactive for Sunday's divisional clash against the Jets in Week 16: Dan Connolly, Julian Edelman, Alfonzo Dennard, LeGarrette Blount, Kyle Arrington, James White and Jordan Devey.
Stevan Ridley
News
By giving the previously unknown Jonas Gray 17 carries for 86 yards Week 8 against Chicago, the Patriots revealed that they'll stick with a two-man backfield even with preferred rusher Stevan Ridley out for the year with a torn ACL and MCL.

But Week 9 against Denver might be a better matchup for preferred receiver Shane Vereen, who also thrived in Week 7 against the Jets. The Broncos, like the Jets, have done a good job stopping the run this season. They rank No. 1, in fact, allowing 72.4 yards per game.

Plus, the Patriots will most likely have to throw more than usual just to keep up with the league's highest-scoring team. These days, a team's only real choice against Peyton Manning is to beat him at his own game.

So most likely, Gray will spend much of Week 9 on the sidelines while Vereen spends much of it in the backfield. Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard both rank Vereen among their top 20 running backs for this week.

Cam Henderson
News

Nate Ebner
News
The Patriots have ruled Cameron Fleming (ankle, finger) and Chandler Jones (hip) out for Sunday's game against Detroit, according to New England's final injury report released Friday.

Deemed questionable were Marcus Cannon (hip), Dominique Easley (knee) and Nate Ebner (finger). As expected, Tom Brady (ankle), Julian Edelman (thigh) and Jonas Gray (not injury related) were ruled as probable for Week 12.

Darius Fleming
News
The Patriots promoted linebacker Darius Fleming from the practice squad to its 53-man roster, reports NESN.com. Fleming has yet to appear in an NFL regular season game.
Jordan Devey
News
The Patriots have ruled the following players inactive for Sunday's divisional clash against the Jets in Week 16: Dan Connolly, Julian Edelman, Alfonzo Dennard, LeGarrette Blount, Kyle Arrington, James White and Jordan Devey.
Josh Boyce
News
The Patriots filled their entire 10-man practice squad, signing defensive linemen Jake Bequette, Charley Hughlett and Deontae Skinner, receiver Josh Boyce, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, safety Kanorris Davis, running back Jonas Gray, offensive lineman Chris Martin and defensive back Dax Swanson.
Devin McCourty
News
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is active Week 8 against the the Bears.

Brady was listed as probable on the team's injury report due to an ankle injury. The team will also have Brandon Browner , Jamie Collins, Dont'a Hightower and Devin McCourty for the contest. All four players were also considered probable coming into the game.

Julian Edelman
News
The Patriots have ruled the following players inactive for Sunday's divisional clash against the Jets in Week 16: Dan Connolly, Julian Edelman, Alfonzo Dennard, LeGarrette Blount, Kyle Arrington, James White and Jordan Devey.
Injury
Thigh, concussion - Missed Week 16 at N.Y. Jets
Brandon Bolden
News
LeGarrette Blount was out for Week 16 at the Jets with a shoulder injury, which meant surely the Patriots would make Jonas Gray their go-to running back. After all, he had a 200-yard, four-touchdown game earlier this season and finally got out of coach Bill Belichick's doghouse with 11 carries for 62 yards last week.

Wrong again.

Gray was the Patriots' only running back to score a touchdown in Week 16, plunging in from 1 yard out in the fourth quarter, but to say he was the go-to back would be disingenuous. He and Shane Vereen tied for the team lead in carries with six, but Brandon Bolden also had five. And Vereen and Bolden were both more productive with their carries, averaging 6.3 yards and 6.4 yards, respectively, than Gray was with his, averaging 0.8 yards.

And then there's the fact that Vereen is far and away the best pass-catcher of the three, but he was hardly involved in the passing game on a quiet day for quarterback Tom Brady.

So basically, you wouldn't have gone right with any of Blount's three replacements, and considering they were all equally involved, you have to wonder how they'll impact Blount's role if he returns Week 17 against Buffalo. Given that it's a tough matchup anyway, you might just want to avoid every Patriots running back.

Cameron Gordon

The team put rookie running back Tyler Gaffney and rookie linebacker Cameron Gordon on injured reserve.

Duron Harmon
News
Patriots rookie safety Duron Harmon made an interception for the second straight game, returning it 42 yards in the Week 9 win over the Steelers. He added four tackles, giving him eight tackles and three passes defended this season.
Danny Aiken

Matthew Slater
News

Deontae Skinner
News
The Patriots have signed defensive backs Justin Green and Daxton Swanson, as well as linebacker Doentae Skinner, to their practice squad. The latter two had been with the Patriots previously.
Chris Jones
News
The Patriots inactive list for Week 1 against the Dolphins is as follows: Offensive linemen Josh Kline and Bryan Stork; defensive linemen Michael Buchanan and Chris Jones; linebacker Darius Fleming; running back James White; and wide receiver Aaron Dobson.
Justin Green
News
The Patriots have signed defensive backs Justin Green and Daxton Swanson, as well as linebacker Doentae Skinner, to their practice squad. The latter two had been with the Patriots previously.
Jonathan Krause
News
The Patriots have brought back wide receiver Jonathan Krause less than a week after releasing him. They have waived defensive lineman Kona Schwenke to make room for Krause.
Darrelle Revis
News
Bill Belichick declined to elaborate Friday on any issues between him and Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis, who was sent home Tuesday after arriving late for a team meeting.

"Anything between me and the players is between myself and the players," he told Boston.com.

Pressed about the incident and how it could impact the status of the veteran for the Week 8 game against visiting Chicago, Belichick merely talked about the difficulty of the matchup.

James Morris
News
The Patriots have added defensive lineman Eathyn Manumaleuna and linebacker James Morris to their list of cuts.

Morris received a setback when he hurt his leg in the final preseason game Thursday.

Injury
Undisclosed - IR. Out for season
Kyle Arrington
News
Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington did not make the trip to New York and will be inactive Week 16 against the Jets, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN on Saturday. Arrington suffered a hamstring injury in a win over the Dolphins in Week 15.

Through 14 games, Arrington has registered 39 combined tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. Before getting hurt last week, Arrington recovered a blocked field goal and took it for a 57-yard touchdown.

New England (11-3) is 10 1/2-point favorite on the road against New York (3-11).

Shane Vereen
News
With LeGarrette Blount sidelined with a shoulder injury, Patriots running backs Shane Vereen and Brandon Bolden did most of the heavy lifting on the ground against the Jets in Week 16.

Bolden only carried the ball five times for 32 yards, averaging 6.4 yards per attempt. Vereen was more involved, as he rushed for 38 yards on six carries. He also caught one of two targets for 12 yards in a 30-14 victory.

New England will face Buffalo in Week 17.

Timothy Wright
News
The Patriots backup pass catchers did little Week 13 against the Packers.

Julian Edelman actually turned in a decent game despite dealing with an injury. He hauled in seven catches for 48 yards. Garoppolo completed all three of his attempts, gaining 22 yards. He did take one sack during his brief appearance. Garoppolo also had one rushing attempt, but lost a yard. He'll take on the Broncos Week 9.

Garrett Gilbert
News
The Patriots have added to their roster quarterback Garrett Gilbert and tight end Steve Maneri, according to the Boston Globe.

Gilbert is a rookie who was cut by St. Louis before the regular season. Maneri earned some playing time with Kansas City in 2012 and 2013, as well as Chicago this season.

Jonas Gray
News
Patriots running back Jonas Gray had only six carries but made one of them count for six in his team's 17-16 victory over the Jets in Week 16.

Gray barreled his way into the end zone from 1-yard out in the fourth quarter to give his team the lead for good. He carried the ball six times for 5 yards and a score. He has 412 rushing yards this season.

The Patriots will end the regular season at home against the Bills.

James White
News
The Patriots have ruled the following players inactive for Sunday's divisional clash against the Jets in Week 16: Dan Connolly, Julian Edelman, Alfonzo Dennard, LeGarrette Blount, Kyle Arrington, James White and Jordan Devey.
Tom Brady
News
The Patriots have played some weird games against Jets in recent years, including a 27-25 squeaker when they were at their hottest back in Week 7. So perhaps it's not surprising quarterback Tom Brady wasn't at his best Week 16 at the Jets as the Patriots eked out another victory, this time by just one point.

He completed 23 of 35 passes for 182 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He was coming off a streak of 10 games with both 200-plus passing yards and two-plus touchdowns.

Brady was playing without his top target, wide receiver Julian Edelman, who was out with a concussion. But with Rob Gronkowski and Brandon LaFell still at his disposal and Danny Amendola filling in capably, that likely wasn't the reason for his struggles. The matchup shouldn't have been either given where the Jets rank against the pass, but in three of his last four games against the division rival, Brady has thrown for less than two scores. And in all four, he's thrown for less than 300 yards.

Maybe it's just a matter of them being too familiar with each other. In any case, you shouldn't let this performance discourage you from starting Brady Week 17 against Buffalo unless of course the Patriots have already secured homefield advantage throughout the playoffs by that point.

Dominique Easley
News
The Patriots are on the verge of placing defensive end and 2014 top pick Dominique Easley on season-ending injured reserve with a knee issue, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport has reported.

Easley has been a virtual non-factor this year with just seven tackles and one sack in 11 games.

Injury
Logan Ryan
News
Patriots defensive back Logan Ryan turned in a solid performance as he came down with a pair of interceptions during Sunday’s game against the Ravens in Week 16.

Ryan picked off Joe Flacco in the opening and third quarters, respectively. He finished the game with one tackle and three defended passes in a 41-7 victory. He surpassed Aqib Talib for the most interceptions (five) on the team. He also leads all NFL rookies in interceptions this season.
Sebastian Vollmer
News
The following players will not suit up for the Patriots Thursday night against the Giants: Brandon Bolden, Michael Hoomanawanui, Jarod Mayo, Dont'a Hightower, Chris Martin, Dominique Easley, Sebastian Vollmer, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Jones and Sealver Siliga.
Danny Amendola
News
Getting a chance for extensive playing time with Julian Edelman sidelined by a concussion, Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola took over as quarterback Tom Brady's preferred underneath route runner, leading the team with 11 targets. He caught a season-high eight passes for 63 yards.

The Patriots are notoriously tight-lipped about injuries, so no one can say for sure if Edelman will also miss Week 17 against Buffalo, but it's nice to know Amendola can step in with similar numbers if he does. For Edelman owners, he's worth adding as handcuff in case Edelman can't go, and in PPR leagues, he might be worth adding whether or not you own Edelman.

Just understand that, like Edelman, you shouldn't be counting on him for big yardage, just lots and lots of opportunities.

Jake Bequette
News
The Patriots filled their entire 10-man practice squad, signing defensive linemen Jake Bequette, Charley Hughlett and Deontae Skinner, receiver Josh Boyce, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, safety Kanorris Davis, running back Jonas Gray, offensive lineman Chris Martin and defensive back Dax Swanson.
Jerod Mayo
News
The Patriots have placed linebacker Jerod Mayo on IR, according to ESPN.

Mayo will miss the rest of the season due to a torn patellar tendon. The club has already filled Mayo's spot on the roster by calling up a player from the practice squad.

Aaron Dobson
News
Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson underwent tests on his injured hamstring, which did not reveal a tear. Although he was placed on injured reserve following a Week 13 loss to the Packers, Dobson will not require surgery on his injured hamstring, the Boston Herald reports.

Dobson finished the year with three receptions for 38 yards. He's expected to be fully recovered before training camp.

Brian Tyms
News
Patriots wide receiver Brian Tyms was active for the first time this season Sunday against the Bills. He didn't let the opportunity goes to waste, as he recorded his first career touchdown in a 37-22 win Week 6.

Tyms gave New England a 20-7 lead early in the third quarter with a 43-yard touchdown reception. It was his only catch of the game. He was targeted twice in the win.

The Patriots are back in action Thursday against the Jets.

Bryan Stork
News
The Patriots should have most of their questionable players available Week 8.

Dan Connolly, Dominique Easley, Matthew Slater, Bryan Stork and Shane Vereen are all active for the contest. Both Connolly and Stork have been dealing with concussions, but will attempt to play.

Rob Ninkovich
