He finishes the regular season going 35 for 37 on field goals with a long of 53 yards. It was his highest field goal percentage of his career, with 94.5 percent.

Chris Barker
News
The Patriots have announced the re-signing of offensive lineman Chris Barker to the practice squad and the release of defensive end Ben Bass .

Bass played in two games with Dallas in 2012, but none since.

Chris White
News
The Patriots listed 18 players on its final injury report for Week 17 against Buffalo. Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) was the only player on the report listed as probable, while running back Jonas Gray (ankle) and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring) were ruled out. The rest were deemed questionable.

The others include long snapper Danny Aiken (finger), cornerback Kyle Arrington (hamstring), running back LeGarrette Blount (shoulder), cornerback Brandon Browner (groin), linebacker Jamie Collins, offensive lineman Dan Connolly (knee), wide receiver Julian Edelman (thigh, concussion), offensive lineman Cameron Fleming (ankle), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), defensive end Chandler Jones (hip), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder), defensive end Rob Ninkovich (heel), running back Shane Vereen (ankle), offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer and linebacker Chris White (ankle).

Gronkowski finishes the regular season with 82 catches for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns, his second-best season as a pro.

Edelman's year ends with 92 catches for 972 yards and four touchdowns. He also may miss out on a $500,000 bonus, which would be triggered if he reached 1,057 receiving yards or the team won 13 regular season games.

Sealver Siliga
News
The Patriots have activated defensive tackle Sealver Siliga from the short-term injured reserve list to New England's 53-man roster on Saturday, according to ESPN. Siliga was sidelined since Week 3 against Oakland due to a foot injury. He is expected to play Sunday against San Diego.
Alfonzo Dennard
News
The Patriots placed cornerback Alfonzo Dennard on season-ending injured reserve with a hamstring injury, reports Field Yates of ESPN on Saturday. Dennard appeared in only six games this season, registering 15 combined tackles and one interception -- all season lows.

In corresponding moves, the Patriots elevated wide receiver Josh Boyce from the practice squad to take the spot of Dennard on the 53-man active roster. They re-signed Dax Swanson to the practice squad and released defensive lineman Cam Henderson.

Injury
Hamstring - IR. Out for season
Stevan Ridley
News
By giving the previously unknown Jonas Gray 17 carries for 86 yards Week 8 against Chicago, the Patriots revealed that they'll stick with a two-man backfield even with preferred rusher Stevan Ridley out for the year with a torn ACL and MCL.

But Week 9 against Denver might be a better matchup for preferred receiver Shane Vereen, who also thrived in Week 7 against the Jets. The Broncos, like the Jets, have done a good job stopping the run this season. They rank No. 1, in fact, allowing 72.4 yards per game.

Plus, the Patriots will most likely have to throw more than usual just to keep up with the league's highest-scoring team. These days, a team's only real choice against Peyton Manning is to beat him at his own game.

So most likely, Gray will spend much of Week 9 on the sidelines while Vereen spends much of it in the backfield. Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard both rank Vereen among their top 20 running backs for this week.

Injury
Knee - IR. Out for season
Nate Ebner
News
The Patriots have ruled Cameron Fleming (ankle, finger) and Chandler Jones (hip) out for Sunday's game against Detroit, according to New England's final injury report released Friday.

Darius Fleming
News
The Patriots promoted linebacker Darius Fleming from the practice squad to its 53-man roster, reports NESN.com. Fleming has yet to appear in an NFL regular season game.
Jordan Devey
News
The Patriots have ruled the following players inactive for Sunday's divisional clash against the Jets in Week 16: Dan Connolly, Julian Edelman, Alfonzo Dennard, LeGarrette Blount, Kyle Arrington, James White and Jordan Devey.
Josh Boyce

Devin McCourty
News
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is active Week 8 against the the Bears.

Brady was listed as probable on the team's injury report due to an ankle injury. The team will also have Brandon Browner , Jamie Collins, Dont'a Hightower and Devin McCourty for the contest. All four players were also considered probable coming into the game.

Julian Edelman
News
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Julian Edelman are both inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills. The Patriots have already clinched home-field advantage and a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Injury
Thigh, concussion - Missed Week 17 vs. Buffalo
Brandon Bolden
News
LeGarrette Blount was out for Week 16 at the Jets with a shoulder injury, which meant surely the Patriots would make Jonas Gray their go-to running back. After all, he had a 200-yard, four-touchdown game earlier this season and finally got out of coach Bill Belichick's doghouse with 11 carries for 62 yards last week.

Wrong again.

Gray was the Patriots' only running back to score a touchdown in Week 16, plunging in from 1 yard out in the fourth quarter, but to say he was the go-to back would be disingenuous. He and Shane Vereen tied for the team lead in carries with six, but Brandon Bolden also had five. And Vereen and Bolden were both more productive with their carries, averaging 6.3 yards and 6.4 yards, respectively, than Gray was with his, averaging 0.8 yards.

And then there's the fact that Vereen is far and away the best pass-catcher of the three, but he was hardly involved in the passing game on a quiet day for quarterback Tom Brady.

So basically, you wouldn't have gone right with any of Blount's three replacements, and considering they were all equally involved, you have to wonder how they'll impact Blount's role if he returns Week 17 against Buffalo. Given that it's a tough matchup anyway, you might just want to avoid every Patriots running back.

Cameron Gordon
News
The Patriots released six players and placed two on injured reserve to get down to the 75-man limit. Released were defensive lineman Ben Bass, defensive backs Jemea Thomas and Travis Hawkins, receivers Derrick Johnson and Wilson Van Hooser, and linebacker Deontae Skinner.

The team put rookie running back Tyler Gaffney and rookie linebacker Cameron Gordon on injured reserve.
Injury
Undisclosed - IR. Out for season

Duron Harmon
News
Patriots rookie safety Duron Harmon made an interception for the second straight game, returning it 42 yards in the Week 9 win over the Steelers. He added four tackles, giving him eight tackles and three passes defended this season.
Danny Aiken
News
The Patriots listed 18 players on its final injury report for Week 17 against Buffalo. Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) was the only player on the report listed as probable, while running back Jonas Gray (ankle) and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring) were ruled out. The rest were deemed questionable.

The others include long snapper Danny Aiken (finger), cornerback Kyle Arrington (hamstring), running back LeGarrette Blount (shoulder), cornerback Brandon Browner (groin), linebacker Jamie Collins, offensive lineman Dan Connolly (knee), wide receiver Julian Edelman (thigh, concussion), offensive lineman Cameron Fleming (ankle), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), defensive end Chandler Jones (hip), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder), defensive end Rob Ninkovich (heel), running back Shane Vereen (ankle), offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer and linebacker Chris White (ankle).

Darrelle Revis
News
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is unlikely to play more than a quarter at most in Week 17 against Buffalo, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Jimmy Garoppolo will likely see the majority of the snaps at quarterback.

The Patriots have clinched home-field advantage and have little to play for on Sunday, which means star players like Darrelle Revis and Rob Gronkowski and other injury-prone players are not expected to play a significant role against Buffalo.

New England opened as an 8 1/2-point favorite at home vs. Buffalo. The line has dropped to only 5 points in favor of the Patriots.

James Morris
News
The Patriots have added defensive lineman Eathyn Manumaleuna and linebacker James Morris to their list of cuts.

Morris received a setback when he hurt his leg in the final preseason game Thursday.

Injury
Undisclosed - IR. Out for season

Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington did not make the trip to New York and will be inactive Week 16 against the Jets, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN on Saturday. Arrington suffered a hamstring injury in a win over the Dolphins in Week 15.

Through 14 games, Arrington has registered 39 combined tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. Before getting hurt last week, Arrington recovered a blocked field goal and took it for a 57-yard touchdown.

New England (11-3) is 10 1/2-point favorite on the road against New York (3-11).

Wilfork's contract has an escalator paying him $1.25 million if he plays 70 percent of the defensive snaps this season. He's played 74.1 percent so far but could fall below 70 percent if he sits out Week 17, the report said.

Wilfork has started every game this year, making 46 tackles and an interception.

Danny Amendola
News
Getting a chance for extensive playing time with Julian Edelman sidelined by a concussion, Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola took over as quarterback Tom Brady's preferred underneath route runner, leading the team with 11 targets. He caught a season-high eight passes for 63 yards.

The Patriots are notoriously tight-lipped about injuries, so no one can say for sure if Edelman will also miss Week 17 against Buffalo, but it's nice to know Amendola can step in with similar numbers if he does. For Edelman owners, he's worth adding as handcuff in case Edelman can't go, and in PPR leagues, he might be worth adding whether or not you own Edelman.

Just understand that, like Edelman, you shouldn't be counting on him for big yardage, just lots and lots of opportunities.

Jake Bequette
News
The Patriots filled their entire 10-man practice squad, signing defensive linemen Jake Bequette, Charley Hughlett and Deontae Skinner, receiver Josh Boyce, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, safety Kanorris Davis, running back Jonas Gray, offensive lineman Chris Martin and defensive back Dax Swanson.
