News
The Patriots have been awarded safety Don Jones on waivers from the Dolphins and waived offensive lineman Chris Barker in a corresponding move.

News
The Patriots have brought back linebacker Chris White and have now filled out their 53-man roster.

White played sporadically with New England last season. He contributed to nine tackles.

Rob Gronkowski
News
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski continued to play on a limited basis on Sunday at the Vikings, catching four passes on six targets for 32 yards without any touchdowns. The Patriots built a big lead early thanks to several Vikings turnovers and wound up not having to throw much (just 22 pass attempts to Tom Brady).

We'll see if the Patriots will give more playing time to Gronkowski in Week 3 against the Raiders.

Sealver Siliga
News
The Patriots have four players from the defensive side on the injury report for Week 2 against the Vikings, and all enter the weekend with their availability for Sunday's game in doubt.

Defensive linemen Michael Buchanan (ankle), Chris Jones (ankle) and Sealver Siliga (hand), along with linebacker Jamie Collins (thigh) are all considered questionable for Sunday. All four were limited in practice throughout the week.

Alfonzo Dennard
News
The surprise inactivity of Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard for the Sunday clash in Minnesota could be due to a shoulder injury, according to the Providence Journal, which is reporting that trainers were giving it plenty of attention before the game.

Dennard had offseason shoulder surgery, but was not on the injury report this week.

Stevan Ridley
News
The Patriots found themselves with a big lead against the Vikings early and leaned on Stevan Ridley to grind down the clock in a 30-7 blowout win. Ridley helped build the big lead with a 1-yard touchdown plunge in the first quarter following an interception-return by the defense. Ridley had just 29 yards on 11 first-half carries but turned it into 101 yards on 25 carries by the end of the game.

Ridley should be in line for another big effort in Week 3 vs. the Raiders.

Cam Henderson
News
The Browns cut defensive backs Royce Adams and T.J. Heath, offensive linemen Randall Harris, Ryan Lee and Jeremiah Warren, running back Edwin Baker, defensive lineman Cam Henderson, receivers Tim Smith, Jonathan Krause and Anthony Armstrong, linebackers Caleb McSurdy and Keith Pough, and tight end Martell Webb.
Nate Ebner
News
The Patriots injury report for Week 5 against the Bengals didn't feature all bad news, despite 14 players being listed. Defensive back Nate Ebner (ankle) was removed from the report altogether, while Kyle Arrington (groin) found himself listed as probable for Sunday's game after getting through a full practice Friday.
Ja'Gared Davis
News

Jordan Devey
News
The Patriots signed offensive linemen Braxston Cave and R.J. Mattes, tackle Jordan Devey, wideouts Reggie Dunn and Greg Orton, running back Sam McGuffie and linebacker Taylor Reed to reserve/futures contracts. All seven players ended the season on New England's practice squad.

Devin McCourty
News
Patriots safety Devin McCourty is a strong candidate for an extension this offseason, but he said it's not on his mind, reports the Boston Herald. McCourty has one year left on his rookie deal.

"I don’t even think about it," McCourty told the paper. "Just go out and play football, and I truly believe the rest will just take care of itself."

Julian Edelman
News
Julian Edelman's first touchdown of the year came from 9 yards out and he snared 6 of 7 targets for 81 yards (all team highs) in the Patriots' dominant win at the Vikings in Week 2. Edelman also had 9 yards on a rush.

Edelman will look to keep it rolling in Week 3 when the Raiders come to Foxboro.

News
The following players will not suit up for the Patriots Thursday night against the Giants: Brandon Bolden, Michael Hoomanawanui, Jarod Mayo, Dont'a Hightower, Chris Martin, Dominique Easley, Sebastian Vollmer, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Jones and Sealver Siliga.

News

News
The Patriots have signed long snapper Danny Aiken to a one-year deal, reports ESPN.

The Patriots now have all three specialists under contract for 2014 with Aiken, kicker Stephen Gostkowski and punter Ryan Allen.

Matthew Slater
News
Patriots receiver Aaron Dobson will start training camp on the PUP list as he continues to rehab from March foot surgery. Also on the list are defensive tackle Tommy Kelly (knee), cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (shoulder), special teams standout Matthew Slater and receiver Jeremy Gallon.

In addition, first-round defensive lineman Dominique Easley will start camp on the Non-Football Injury list as he recovers from the torn ACL he suffered at Florida last season. Joining him on that list are running back Roy Finch, linebacker Deontae Skinner and offensive tackle Chris Martin.

Deontae Skinner
News
The Patriots signed linebacker Deontae Skinner off the practice squad Saturday and waived linebacker Darius Fleming in a corresponding move, ESPN reports.
Chris Jones

The Patriots inactive list for Week 1 against the Dolphins is as follows: Offensive linemen Josh Kline and Bryan Stork; defensive linemen Michael Buchanan and Chris Jones; linebacker Darius Fleming; running back James White; and wide receiver Aaron Dobson.
Darrelle Revis
News
The Patriots DST delivered on a blocked field goal when Chandler Jones returned the ball 58 yards for a touchdown and added four interceptions of quarterback Matt Cassel (including one from Darrelle Revis) and six sacks with a forced fumble. The Patriots held the Vikings to just 7 points and 217 net yards.

We could see another great performance from this unit in Week 3 when the Raiders head to Foxboro.

James Morris
News
The Patriots have added defensive lineman Eathyn Manumaleuna and linebacker James Morris to their list of cuts.

Morris received a setback when he hurt his leg in the final preseason game Thursday.

Injury
Undisclosed - IR. Out for season

News
Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington, who played through a groin injury most of last season, is set to have surgery Friday, reports the team's website. Arrington had 62 tackles, two sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles while not missing a game.

He's expected to be ready for training camp.

Ryan Allen

The Patriots have signed seven of their nine draft picks. Under contract are Florida State center Bryan Stork, Florida guard Jon Halapio, Georgia Tech cornerback Jemea Thomas, Stanford offensive tackle Cameron Fleming, Wisconsin running back James White, Concordia defensive end Zach Moore and Michigan receiver Jeremy Gallon.

First-round pick Dominique Easley, a defensive tackle out of Florida, and second-round pick Jimmy Garoppolo, a quarterback from Eastern Illinois, remain unsigned.

Michael Buchanan
News
The Patriots have four players from the defensive side on the injury report for Week 2 against the Vikings, and all enter the weekend with their availability for Sunday's game in doubt.

Joe Vellano
News
A pair of rookie defensive linemen mad an impact for the Patriots in Week 15, in a 24-20 loss to the Dolphins. Joe Vellano and Sealver Siliga each picked up a sack in the game; Vellano's was the second of his career, while Siliga's was his first.
Jamie Collins
News
The Patriots have released their inactives for the Sunday game in Minnesota. It includes wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, defensive ends Michael Buchanan and Zach Moore, running back James White, linebacker Jamie Collins and center Ryan Wendell.
Injury
Thigh - Missed Week 2 at Minnesota
Shane Vereen
News
The Patriots didn't need to lean on Shane Vereen in their Week 2 game at the Vikings thanks to jumping out to a big lead. As such, he ended up with 40 yards on six carries along with a catch for no yards -- typical numbers for Vereen when the Patriots get up big and don't need to feature him in their passing attack.

Vereen might be in for more light work in Week 3 when the Raiders head to Foxboro.

Timothy Wright
News
Newly acquired Patriots tight end Timothy Wright did not find himself integrated into the offense in his first game Sunday against the Dolphins in Week 1.

Wright, who was acquired via trade little more than a week ago, was targeted just three times in the passing game. He hauled in all three receptions but totaled just 15 yards in the game, a 33-20 loss.

Wright should see his role increase as he gets more comfortable in his new surroundings. The Patriots face the Vikings in Week 2.

Chandler Jones

Brandon LaFell
News
Patriots wide receiver Brandon LaFell made no impact in his team debut Sunday, in a 33-20 Week 1 loss.

Tom Brady looked LaFell's way six times in the passing game, but the two had trouble hooking up in their first game together. LaFell caught none of the passes thrown his way in the loss, and will look for better success in Week 2 against the Vikings.

Marcus Cannon
News
Patriots tackle Marcus Cannon has been given the green light for action Sunday against Buffalo despite an ankle issue that had him deemed probable.
James Develin
News
The Patriots received minor contributions from several role players during Sunday's playoff win over the Colts.

Austin Collie and Michael Hoomanawanui each had one reception. Collie finished with 15 yards on one target while Hoomanawanui finished with 6 yards on one target. In the ground game, James Develin had one carry for no gain in a 43-22 win.
Vince Wilfork
News
Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, who's coming back from a ruptured Achilles, looked good during the team's first practice and said he's working without restrictions.

"If I had limitations, I wouldn’t be practicing," Wilfork told the Boston Herald. "My job is to help my teammates the best way I can, whatever that may be. The only way for me to help my teammates is to be on the field and be healthy. Right now, I’m on the field and I’m healthy. If anything happens in the future, I can’t predict that. But right now my job is to help this team the best way I can and get better each day and that’s what I’m going to do."

Tavon Wilson
News
According to ESPN Boston, the following players are not expected to dress for the Patriots Friday night against Philadelphia: wide receiver Aaron Dobson, safety Tavon Wilson, safety Kanorris Davis, tight end D.J. Williams, tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, linebacker Cameron Gordon, linebacker Jerod Mayo, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, linebacker James Anderson, center Bryan Stork, offensive tackle Chris Martin, defensive tackle Dominique Easley, wide receiver Jeremy Gallon, tight end Rob Gronkowski, defensive tackle Ben Bass, defensive tackle Jerel Worthy, defensive tackle Chris Jones, running back Tyler Gaffney, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard  and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga.
Brandon Browner
News
New Patriots cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner are meshing well with the team's defensive backs, safety Devin McCourty told the Boston Herald. "It seems those two guys are going to fit right in very well," he said.

"Revis and Browner coming in there, we’re excited just because we know what they’re able to do. I think our focus now is being able to put it together as a unit, so right now, we’re just working out. We’re just getting to know each other, hanging out, cracking jokes in the locker room. I think this is one of the more fun times of the season when you’re just getting better as a unit."
Jimmy Garoppolo
News
Patriots rookie quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is still adjusting to his new status as Tom Brady's backup. It was clear Garoppolo won the job after New England traded Ryan Mallett to Houston.

"It hasn't really sunk in," Garoppolo, a second-round pick, told ESPN.com.

"I feel confident, but I have a long way to go still. I'm still a rookie, still have a lot to learn, the whole playbook, defenses, everything."

Jonas Gray
News
The Patriots filled their entire 10-man practice squad, signing defensive linemen Jake Bequette, Charley Hughlett and Deontae Skinner, receiver Josh Boyce, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, safety Kanorris Davis, running back Jonas Gray, offensive lineman Chris Martin and defensive back Dax Swanson.
James White
Tom Brady
News
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had another weak day statistically, but unlike in Week 1, he didn't have to do much. New England took advantage of Minnesota turnovers and built a big lead, leaving Brady to attempt just 22 passes in a 30-7 rout. He completed 15 of those passes for just 149 yards along with a touchdown to Julian Edelman from 9 yards out. Brady had no turnovers.

It's entirely possible he plays a good game but still doesn't rack up stats in the Patriots' home debut in Week 3 against the Raiders.

Dominique Easley
News
Patriots rookie defensive lineman Dominique Easley thinks he's physically ready for more action in Sunday's game against the Vikings, the Boston Herald reports.

"Whatever they tell me to do, I'm there to do it," Easley said.

The Patriots held Easley out of all preseason action as he continued to recover from a torn ACL. He made his debut in Week 1, playing just 26 of the team's 74 defensive snaps. More of a pass-rush threat than a run defender coming out of college, the rookie will look to pressure Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel into making mistakes as the Patriots attempt to avoid starting the season 0-2 for the first time since 2001.

Logan Ryan
News
Patriots defensive back Logan Ryan turned in a solid performance as he came down with a pair of interceptions during Sunday’s game against the Ravens in Week 16.

Ryan picked off Joe Flacco in the opening and third quarters, respectively. He finished the game with one tackle and three defended passes in a 41-7 victory. He surpassed Aqib Talib for the most interceptions (five) on the team. He also leads all NFL rookies in interceptions this season.
Sebastian Vollmer
Danny Amendola
News
Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola barely figured into the game plan in Week 1's 33-20 loss to the Dolphins Sunday.

Amendola was targeted five times in the game, good for just sixth on the team. He brought three of those passes in for 16 yards in the loss. The Patriots face the Vikings in Week 2.

Jake Bequette
News
The Patriots filled their entire 10-man practice squad, signing defensive linemen Jake Bequette, Charley Hughlett and Deontae Skinner, receiver Josh Boyce, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, safety Kanorris Davis, running back Jonas Gray, offensive lineman Chris Martin and defensive back Dax Swanson.
Jerod Mayo
News
Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo made a big impact in Week 1 against the Dolphins, albeit in a 33-20 loss.

Mayo led the team in tackles with 12 -- 10 solo -- and was the only player to get to the quarterback in the loss. He had one sack in the game.

Aaron Dobson
News
Patriots second-year receiver Aaron Dobson made his first catch of the season in his first game of the season on Sunday, hauling in a 13-yard pass from Tom Brady. It was the only catch for Dobson, who started and was part of a quiet pass attack for New England -- they didn't have to throw much in a 30-7 rout of the Vikings.

Dobson could see some better opportunities later this season including against the Raiders in Week 3.

Brian Tyms
News
Patriots receiver Brian Tyms told reporters he is suspended for the first four regular-season games because he took Adderall without clearing it with the NFL. Tyms said he's had a prescription for Adderall since he was 9.

On Thursday against the Redskins, Tyms caught five passes for 119 yards and a touchdown. His suspension was handed down in May.

Bryan Stork
News
The Patriots inactive list for Week 1 against the Dolphins is as follows: Offensive linemen Josh Kline and Bryan Stork; defensive linemen Michael Buchanan and Chris Jones; linebacker Darius Fleming; running back James White; and wide receiver Aaron Dobson.
Rob Ninkovich
News
The Patriots had little success getting after the quarterback in Week 1 against the Dolphins, as Rob Ninkovich and Chandler Jones combined for no sacks in the 33-20 loss Sunday.

Jones had four solo tackles in the game, while Ninkovich had five. Neither player recorded a quarterback hit in the game, as the team's pass rush was basically nonexistent.

Marcus Thigpen
News
The Patriots signed offensive lineman Chris Barker, tight end Allen Reisner and running back Marcus Thigpen to the practice squad and released quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, safety Kanorris Davis and defensive back Dax Swanson from the squad.
Kelcy Quarles
News
The Patriots have signed defensive lineman Kelcy Quarles to their practice squad and waived tight end Allen Reisner from the same unit.

The two took the opposite path earlier in the week.
