Dan Connolly
News
Patriots guard Dan Connolly left Sunday's game against Miami in Week 15 with an neck injury. Connolly, who entered the game nursing an ankle injury, left the game in the second half with the injury. He was ruled questionable for the remainder of the game.
Ryan Wendell
News
The Patriots have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's matchup with the Colts: defensive linemen Chandler Jones (hip) and Casey Walker, wide receiver Aaron Dobson, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, running back James White, offensive lineman Jordan Devey and safety Don Jones.

All four players listed as questionable for Sunday's game are active, including center Ryan Wendell (knee), offensive tackle Cameron Fleming (finger), defensive tackle Dominique Easley (knee) and safety Nate Ebner (finger). Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) and wide receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder) also active after being listed as probable to play.

Nate Solder
News
The Patriots started two rookies on the offensive line Monday for the first time since 2005. Cameron Fleming started at right guard and Bryan Stork started at center; both were fourth-round picks.

Dan Connolly started the first three games at center before starting at left guard against the Chiefs. The shuffling continued throughout the blowout loss as New England sought to find a combination that could protect Tom Brady. Left tackle Nate Solder was beaten badly on Tamba Hali's strip-sack in the third quarter, then got benched for Marcus Cannon.

Dont'a Hightower
News
Patriots defensive lineman Dominique Easley is out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a knee injury. The Boston Herald reported earlier in the day the team is considering placing Easley on injured-reserve to have him healthy in 2015.

The Patriots also listed nine players as questionable for Sunday including: Dont'a Hightower, Cameron Fleming, Brandon LaFell  Chandler Jones, Rob Ninkovich, Chris WhiteJulian Edelman, Dan Connolly and Shane Vereen

Zach Moore
News
The Patriots ruled cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, offensive lineman Cameron Fleming, running back James White, linebacker Chris White, defensive lineman Dominique Easley and defensive lineman Zach Moore inactive for Week 15 against Miami.
Stephen Gostkowski
News
Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski made all two of his field goal attempts and added five extra points in his team's 41-13 victory over the Dolphins in Week 15. He converted a 35-yard kick in the third quarter and a 36-yard attempt in the fourth quarter.
Tyler Gaffney
News
The Patriots released six players and placed two on injured reserve to get down to the 75-man limit. Released were defensive lineman Ben Bass, defensive backs Jemea Thomas and Travis Hawkins, receivers Derrick Johnson and Wilson Van Hooser, and linebacker Deontae Skinner.

The team put rookie running back Tyler Gaffney and rookie linebacker Cameron Gordon on injured reserve.

Knee - IR. Out for season
Chris Barker
News
The Patriots have announced the re-signing of offensive lineman Chris Barker to the practice squad and the release of defensive end Ben Bass .

Bass played in two games with Dallas in 2012, but none since.

Chris White
News
The Patriots ruled cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, offensive lineman Cameron Fleming, running back James White, linebacker Chris White, defensive lineman Dominique Easley and defensive lineman Zach Moore inactive for Week 15 against Miami.
Injury
Ankle - Missed Week 15 vs. Miami
Rob Gronkowski
News
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski scored his 11th touchdown of the season during Sunday's 41-13 victory over Miami in Week 15.

Gronkowski bounced back in the second half, after being held without a grab in the first half. Tom Brady hooked up with Gronkowski for a 27-yard touchdown strike in the third quarter. He was targeted eight times and finished with three catches for a team-high 96 yards and a score.

Gronkowski has cracked the 1,000-yard mark for the second time in his career. He has 76 receptions for 1,093 yards this season. He'll look to add to that total come Week 16 against the Jets.

Sealver Siliga
News
The Patriots have activated defensive tackle Sealver Siliga from the short-term injured reserve list to New England's 53-man roster on Saturday, according to ESPN. Siliga was sidelined since Week 3 against Oakland due to a foot injury. He is expected to play Sunday against San Diego.
Alfonzo Dennard
News
The Patriots ruled cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, offensive lineman Cameron Fleming, running back James White, linebacker Chris White, defensive lineman Dominique Easley and defensive lineman Zach Moore inactive for Week 15 against Miami.
Stevan Ridley
News
By giving the previously unknown Jonas Gray 17 carries for 86 yards Week 8 against Chicago, the Patriots revealed that they'll stick with a two-man backfield even with preferred rusher Stevan Ridley out for the year with a torn ACL and MCL.

But Week 9 against Denver might be a better matchup for preferred receiver Shane Vereen, who also thrived in Week 7 against the Jets. The Broncos, like the Jets, have done a good job stopping the run this season. They rank No. 1, in fact, allowing 72.4 yards per game.

Plus, the Patriots will most likely have to throw more than usual just to keep up with the league's highest-scoring team. These days, a team's only real choice against Peyton Manning is to beat him at his own game.

So most likely, Gray will spend much of Week 9 on the sidelines while Vereen spends much of it in the backfield. Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard both rank Vereen among their top 20 running backs for this week.

Injury
Knee - IR. Out for season
Nate Ebner
News
The Patriots have ruled Cameron Fleming (ankle, finger) and Chandler Jones (hip) out for Sunday's game against Detroit, according to New England's final injury report released Friday.

Deemed questionable were Marcus Cannon (hip), Dominique Easley (knee) and Nate Ebner (finger). As expected, Tom Brady (ankle), Julian Edelman (thigh) and Jonas Gray (not injury related) were ruled as probable for Week 12.

Darius Fleming
News
The Patriots promoted linebacker Darius Fleming from the practice squad to its 53-man roster, reports NESN.com. Fleming has yet to appear in an NFL regular season game.
Jordan Devey
News
The Patriots ruled cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, offensive lineman Cameron Fleming, running back James White, linebacker Chris White, defensive lineman Dominique Easley and defensive lineman Zach Moore inactive for Week 15 against Miami.
Josh Boyce
News
The Patriots filled their entire 10-man practice squad, signing defensive linemen Jake Bequette, Charley Hughlett and Deontae Skinner, receiver Josh Boyce, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, safety Kanorris Davis, running back Jonas Gray, offensive lineman Chris Martin and defensive back Dax Swanson.
Devin McCourty
News
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is active Week 8 against the the Bears.

Brady was listed as probable on the team's injury report due to an ankle injury. The team will also have Brandon Browner , Jamie Collins, Dont'a Hightower and Devin McCourty for the contest. All four players were also considered probable coming into the game.

Julian Edelman
News
Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman certainly had a big game Week 14 at San Diego and, with an average of 8.0 catches in his last five games, has gotten back to being a fixture in PPR lineups. But he's averaged a modest 83.4 yards during that stretch and, given his size and role in the passing game, isn't much of a red-zone target for Tom Brady. His touchdown catch Sunday was just his third all season.

He's plenty usable in standard leagues, but more as a flex option than anything else.

Brandon Bolden
News
Patriots coach Bill Belichick has a longstanding tradition of zigging when Fantasy owners expect him to stay in a nice, predictable zag, and he did it again in Week 13 with his running backs.

Shane Vereen still played the majority of the team's snaps Sunday against the Packers, but was largely a nonfactor in the loss. He had just three carries and one reception, and was only targeted twice in the passing game overall.

LeGarrette Blount led the team in rushing for the second week in a row since signing as a free agent, however this time he didn't get the goal-line work. Blount, who scored twice the previous week, ceded a goal-line carry to little-used reserve Brandon Bolden, who scored his first touchdown of the season, while finishing with three carries for 17 yards overall.

Jonas Gray , the star of the team's Week 11 win, was back on the field after failing to touch the ball in Week 12, but had just one carry for 4 yards.

Belichick knows he can wring value out of any back he chooses, which is what makes this situation so perpetually frustrating for Fantasy owners. Any back could get work in any situation any week, but it still looks like Blount and Vereen are going to be the team's top options moving forward. Relying on anyone here on a weekly basis is frustrating, but Blount and Vereen are the only ones that are must-own players down the stretch.

Cameron Gordon

Duron Harmon
News
Patriots rookie safety Duron Harmon made an interception for the second straight game, returning it 42 yards in the Week 9 win over the Steelers. He added four tackles, giving him eight tackles and three passes defended this season.
Danny Aiken
News
Nine players on the Patriots' final Week 14 injury report are active for Sunday's game against the Chargers, including quarterback Tom Brady (ankle), running back Shane Vereen (ankle) and wide receivers Julian Edelman (thigh) and Brandon LaFell (shoulder).

Brady and tackle Marcus Cannon (hip) were listed as probable, so their absence from the team's inactive list isn't a surprise. Vereen, Edelman and LaFell all carried questionable tags coming into Sunday. Other questionables who are active against the Chargers include center Danny Aiken (concussion), guard Dan Connolly (ankle), defensive tackle Dominique Easley (knee) and cornerback Kyle Arrington (ankle).

Matthew Slater

Darrelle Revis
News
Bill Belichick declined to elaborate Friday on any issues between him and Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis, who was sent home Tuesday after arriving late for a team meeting.

"Anything between me and the players is between myself and the players," he told Boston.com.

Pressed about the incident and how it could impact the status of the veteran for the Week 8 game against visiting Chicago, Belichick merely talked about the difficulty of the matchup.

James Morris
News

Morris received a setback when he hurt his leg in the final preseason game Thursday.

News
The Patriots backup pass catchers did little Week 13 against the Packers.

Edelman missed time with a thigh injury, but was able to return to the contest. Michael Hoomanawanui caught one ball, gaining 23 yards. Timothy Wright also hauled in one pass, gaining 12 yards.

The group will take on the Chargers Week 14.

Malcolm Butler
News

Jonathan Casillas
News
The Patriots traded for Buccaneers linebacker Jonathan Casillas, reports NFL Network. He has nine tackles in five games this season. It was not immediately known what New England gave up.

The Patriots announced Monday they reinstated cornerback Brandon Browner and wide receiver Brian Tyms, who both had their roster exemptions lifted after serving four-game suspensions to begin the season.

To clear two roster spots, the Patriots released defensive lineman Joe Vellano and placed defensive lineman Michael Buchanan on injured reserve.

Injury

Jamie Collins

Shane Vereen
News
Patriots running back Shane Vereen found the end zone during Sunday's victory over Miami in Week 15.

Vereen took a shotgun draw for a 3-yard score in the second quarter. It was his second rushing touchdown of the season. He failed to make much of an impact the rest of the way, as he finished with six carries for 5 yards and a score. He caught one of three targets for 12 yards in a 41-13 victory.

New England will face the Jets in Week 16.

Timothy Wright
News
The Patriots backup pass catchers did little Week 13 against the Packers.

Julian Edelman actually turned in a decent game despite dealing with an injury. He hauled in seven catches for 48 yards. Edelman missed time with a thigh injury, but was able to return to the contest. Michael Hoomanawanui caught one ball, gaining 23 yards. Timothy Wright also hauled in one pass, gaining 12 yards.

The group will take on the Chargers Week 14.

Chandler Jones
News
Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones was ruled as active for Sunday's clash against Miami in Week 15. Jones missed his previous six games with a hip injury. His workload is yet to be determined, per a recent report from the Boston Herald.

Jones has 4.5 sacks through seven games played.

LeGarrette Blount
News
Look, I won't mince words here. Jamey Eisenberg's pick of Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount as the CBSSports.com Start of the Week for Week 15 against Miami is going too far out on a limb for me. After all, he plays for Bill Belichick, who benched Jonas Gray the week after he ran for 201 yards and four touchdowns. As soon as you feel like you have a read on him, like with Blount leading the team in carries each of the last three weeks, he does something different just to make sure you don't. So there's a level of risk there I'm not comfortable with.

But just because he wouldn't be my Start of the Week doesn't mean he's a sit. To me, Blount is a player you rotate with several others in your flex spot based on matchups and trends. The trend is obviously a favorable one, and the matchup is, too. The Dolphins rank 22nd against the run, allowing 123.5 yards per game, and have been especially miserable lately, allowing an average of 220.3 yards in their last three games. If Blount continues to lead the Patriots in carries, it stands to reason he'll have a good game.

But I wouldn't go out of my way to start him by sitting someone who's proven to be trustworthy.

Brandon LaFell
News
Patriots wide receivers Brandon LaFell and Julian Edelman put together solid performances during Sunday's victory over Miami in Week 15.

Both receivers combined for 13 catches for 154 yards and a score. Edelman came down with a 6-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter. He caught seven of 10 passes thrown in his direction for 88 yards and a touchdown. LaFell was targeted eight times and finished with six grabs for 66 yards in a 41-13 victory.

New England will face the Jets in Week 16.

Marcus Cannon
News
Patriots offensive lineman Marcus Cannon has signed a two-year extension, according to ESPN.

Cannon has battled some injuries this season, but has managed to play in all 13 games. After starting the first three games of the year, Cannon took a backseat, and has been used as a backup.

James Develin
News
Patriots wideout Danny Amendola and fullback James Develin did little Week 9 against the Broncos.

Amendola hauled in two catches for 35 yards. He received three targets during the contest. Develin also caught two balls, gaining 13 yards.

Both players are on a bye Week 10.

Akeem Ayers
News
Patriots linebacker Akeem Ayers did not practice Friday but is listed as probable for Sunday night's matchup with the Colts. Ayers' absence wasn't related to an injury, and he should be good to go for the Week 11 contest.
Caylin Hauptmann
News
The Patriots re-signed offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann to their practice squad and released offensive lineman Chris Martin from the squad, the team announced.
Vince Wilfork
News
Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork was in the right place at not only the right time, but also the best possible time Week 3 against Oakland. With the Raiders on the verge of scoring a game-tying touchdown with about a minute to play in the fourth quarter, a pass intended for Denarius Moore was deflected off two Patriots defenders and into a diving Wilfork's arms for a game-clinching interception.

It was the third interception of Wilfork's career. The other two came in 2011. He finished Week 3 with three tackles, including one solo.

Casey Walker
News
The Ravens signed former Patriots defensive tackle Casey Walker, reports the Baltimore Sun. Walker played in five games for New England this season, getting 11 tackles and a sack.
Tavon Wilson
News
According to ESPN Boston, the following players are not expected to dress for the Patriots Friday night against Philadelphia: wide receiver Aaron Dobson, safety Tavon Wilson, safety Kanorris Davis, tight end D.J. Williams, tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, linebacker Cameron Gordon, linebacker Jerod Mayo, linebacker Ja'Gared Davis, linebacker James Anderson, center Bryan Stork, offensive tackle Chris Martin, defensive tackle Dominique Easley, wide receiver Jeremy Gallon, tight end Rob Gronkowski, defensive tackle Ben Bass, defensive tackle Jerel Worthy, defensive tackle Chris Jones, running back Tyler Gaffney, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard  and defensive tackle Sealver Siliga.
Brandon Browner
News
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is good to go Week 9 against the Broncos.

Brady was listed as probable on the team's injury report due to an ankle injury. He was never a candidate to miss the game. The team will also have Brandon Browner , who was also listed as probable.

Dominique Easley, Nate Ebner and Matthew Slater are also active. The three entered the game considered questionable.

Jimmy Garoppolo
News
Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo got some playing time Sunday against the Bears.

Garoppolo completed all three of his attempts, gaining 22 yards. He did take one sack during his brief appearance. Garoppolo also had one rushing attempt, but lost a yard. He'll take on the Broncos Week 9.

Jonas Gray
News
Patriots running back Jonas Gray led the team in rushing in Week 15 against Miami.

Gray took five of his 11 carries on the final drive of the game to run out the clock and secure a 41-13 victory. He finished with 62 rushing yards, averaging 5.6 yards per attempt. LeGarrette Blount scored a touchdown on a 3-yard run in the third quarter. Blount carried the ball eight times for 17 yards and a score.

New England will face the Jets in Week 16.

James White
News
The Patriots ruled cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, offensive lineman Cameron Fleming, running back James White, linebacker Chris White, defensive lineman Dominique Easley and defensive lineman Zach Moore inactive for Week 15 against Miami.
Tom Brady
News
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady turned in another impressive performance and fell 13 yards shy of surpassing the 300-yard mark in a Week 15 victory over Miami.

Brady struggled in the first half, completing only 8 of 15 passes for 82 yards and an interception. He got back on track and scored both of his touchdowns in the third quarter, hooking up with Rob Gronkowski for a 27 strike and Julian Edelman for a 6-yard score.
