In a conference call with the Oakland media, running back Rashad Jennings says he's healthy after battling knee, head and shoulder injuries the past two seasons. "I'm 100 percent healthy. I came out of the season completely healthy and I've been healthy the whole offseason," Jennings said. "All injuries are in the past. That’s a done deal. That's washed away. And again, as I signed the contract and I talked to Coach, I’m really looking forward more than looking what happened, what should have happened, what could have happened. We’re looking at what we can control."

The Raiders signed former Falcons defensive lineman Vance Walker to a free-agent contract Monday. Walker is expected to serve as a run specialist, after appearing in 58 games with the Falcons over four seasons.

Green Bay linebacker Desmond Bishop (hamstring) was among five players placed on injured reserve Monday and will miss the entire upcoming season. Bishop, who suffered a hamstring injury during the first quarter of the team's preseason opener, joins running back Duane Bennett; tight end DeMarco Cosby; defensive lineman Johnny Jones; and wide receiver Shaky Smithson on injured reserve.

Raiders running back Darren McFadden told the Contra Costa Times that he loves the power-run scheme that new offensive coordinator Greg Olson has committed to. "That's one of the things I like about it. I'm the type of guy I like to get going downhill, so I'm looking forward to it. I think it's going to be a great fit for our team," McFadden said. "It's a great feeling that they have that confidence in me, so I just want to go out there and prove to them on the field that I can do it, and show them I'm the type of player they think I'm capable of being."

The Raiders cut defensive end Dave Tollefson after one season. He had eight total tackles and a half-sack over 15 games.

The Raiders spent four draft picks on the defense: San Diego State linebacker Miles Burris, Penn State defensive end Jack Crawford, Georgia State defensive end Christo Bilukidi and Penn State linebacker Nathan Stupar.

Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie told the media Tuesday that Matt Flynn would open OTAs as their starting quarterback, not second-year talent Terrelle Pryor. The two are expected to compete for the job in training camp but for now the newly acquired Flynn is in. "[H]e has all the intangibles," McKenzie said of Flynn. "I think he can play the position."

Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore only caught one pass in Week 17 against the Chargers, but he made it count. Moore was on the receiving end of a 5-yard touchdown strike from Terrelle Pryor in the fourth quarter. He was targeted six times in the 24-21 defeat, which was second only to Brandon Myers' seven.

Oakland ended defensive lineman Richard Seymour’s season Thursday, as they placed him on Injured Reserve with hamstring and knee injuries. Seymour had missed the previous seven games as a result of the injury.

The Cardinals waived or released the following players Friday: cornerback Crezdon Butler, linebacker Antonio Coleman, safety Blake Gideon, linebacker Clark Haggans, defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, linebacker Colin Parker, cornerback Larry Parker, wide receiver DeMarco Sampson, tight end Steve Skelton, running back Alfonso Smith, linebacker Quan Sturdivant, defensive end Ronald Talley, defensive end Everette Thompson, tight end Martell Webb and wide receiver Isaiah Williams.

Oakland DT John Henderson reached an agreement Thursday with the Raiders on a two-year, $8 million contract, according to ESPN. Henderson becomes the third defensive player the team has resigned, joining DT Richard Seymour and CB Stanford Routt. Oakland used its franchise tag on OLB Kamerion Wimbley.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins has signed a one-year deal with the Raiders.

Raiders defensive linemen Lamarr Houston had his two-game sack streak snapped in Week 15 against the Chiefs. Houston was unable to get to quarterback Brady Quinn in the 15-0 win and finished with just three solo tackles.

The Raiders added linebacker Kaelin Burnett to the active roster Saturday to take the place of Aaron Curry, who was released earlier this week. Burnett, an undrafted rookie out of Nevada, was part of Oakland's final cuts during the preseason.

The Packers released defensive lineman Jarius Wynn and running back Jon Hoese on Monday in order to reach the latest NFL roster requirements.

A week after getting cut by the Browns, safety Usama Young was signed by the Raiders.

The Oakland Raiders have added three unrestricted free agents, signing defensive end Jason Hunter, linebacker Kaluka Maiava and defensive tackle Pat Sims.

Raiders linebacker Miles Burris picked off the first pass of his career Sunday against the Panthers in Week 16. Burris intercepted Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton on a tipped pass, while racking up a team-high seven tackles. He added 0.5 sacks, in a 17-6 loss.

The Raiders signed defensive back Joselio Hanson to a one-year contract Monday, according the The Sports Xchange. Hansen, 31, was released by the Eagles in their roster cutdown to 53 players last week after six seasons with the team.

Oakland elevated defensive lineman Brandon Bair from the practice squad to the active roster Friday, providing the team some depth for the season finale. Bair was among the roster cuts by Kansas City at the end of the preseason.

Raiders wide receiver Derek Hagan caught two passes for 24 yards in Sunday's 55-20 loss to the Ravens.

ESPN reports that Oakland's Taiwan Jones plans to move from running back to cornerback this season, which is being received well from the Raiders' brass. “I’m pushing for cornerback,” Oakland general manager Reggie McKenzie said. “I think it fits his skill set. I think we’re going to see how he does there.” McKenzie acknowledged it will not be easy for Jones to make a position switch, but he thinks he can do it. McKenzie said he’d be thrilled if Jones could someday develop into a nickel cornerback. McKenzie said he had Jones projected as a cornerback when Oakland took him in the fourth round out of Eastern Washington in 2011.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen announced Monday linebacker Travis Goethel suffered a season-ending ACL injury Week 10.

The Falcons waived or released the following players on Friday: linebacker Spencer Adkins, tight end Lamark Brown (waived/injured), linebacker Rico Council, fullback Mike Cox, wide receiver Drew Davis, cornerback Dominique Franks, linebacker Jerrell Harris, wide receiver Marcus Jackson, cornerback Marty Markett, wide receiver Kerry Meier (waived/injured), running back Dimitri Nance, defensive tackle Conrad Obi, defensive tackle Micanor Regis, wide receiver James Rodgers, linebacker Pat Schiller, cornerback Peyton Thompson and safety Suaesi Tuimaunei and long snapper Joe Zelenka.

The Raiders placed defensive back Phillip Adams on season-ending injured reserve Friday after suffering a groin injury in his previous game. Oakland elevated fellow defensive back Cory Nelms from the practice squad to take his spot on the active roster.

Playing in only his third game for the Raiders after spending much of the season unsigned, DB Lito Sheppard recorded a sack Week 11 at Minnesota. It was his first sack since 2005 with the Eagles. He also had six tackles in the contest -- all solo.

The Raiders have selected Connecticut linebacker Sio Moore in the third round of the NFL Draft. General manager Reggie McKenzie took Moore 66th overall in the draft on Friday. Moore had 72 tackles and eight sacks last season at UConn. He has 16 sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 41 career college games.

The Raiders signed linebacker Kevin Burnett on Sunday. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Burnett, who was released by the Dolphins last week, has posted over 100 tackles each of the last two seasons.

Free agent tight end Tory Humphrey has agreed to contract terms with the Raiders on Monday, according to his agent. Humphrey, has just 13 career catches for 181 yards over six seasons. His first three years was with Green Bay and the past three with New Orleans. He has nine career starts. The Raiders have little experience at tight end after releasing starter Kevin Boss. Brandon Myers, a fourth-year pro, has been running first string during OTAs, ahead of David Ausberry and Richard Gordon.

Raiders wide receiver Juron Criner was barely involved in the passing game during Thursday night's contest against the Broncos in Week 14. Criner caught two of his three targeted passes for just 24 yards in a 26-13 defeat. He was the fourth-leading receiver on the team behind Rod Streater (100 yards), Darrius Heyward-Bey (82 yards) and Denarius Moore (43 yards).

Raiders veteran S Hiram Eugene was placed on injured reserve Friday, the team announced. Eugene suffered a dislocated hip against Arizona in the exhibition opener and underwent surgery.

Raiders tight end David Ausberry caught two passes for 15 yards in Sunday's 55-20 loss to the Ravens. He was targeted twice.

Raiders defensive back Tyvon Branch was ruled inactive for Week 17 against the Chargers as he continues to be bothered by lingering neck and ankle injuries. Branch was limited in his lone day of practice this week due to his ailments.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Raiders waived DB Chinedum Ndukwe on Thursday to make room for DB Jerome Boyd on the active roster. Ndukwe had been dealing with a knee injury.

The Raiders signed running back/fullback Jamize Olawale off the Cowboys' practice squad Tuesday.

Raiders TE Richard Gordon suffered a broken hand in Week 4 against the Patriots but returned to the game after his injury, wearing a cast, coach Hue Jackson said Monday. Because Gordon has been used primarily as a blocker, at both tight end and fullback, he likely will be able to play in Week 5 against the Texans, despite the injury.

Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski did not attempt a field goal for just the second time this season in Week 17 against the Chargers. The only other week Janikowski did not attempt a field goal was back in Week 14. He did make all three of his PATs in the 24-21 defeat.

The Raiders announced Wednesday fullback Rashawn Jackson (hip) cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve.

The Raiders have released cornerback Adrian Bushell, defensive back Akwasi Owusu-Ansah and tight end Mickey Shuler.

The Contra Costa Times believes rookie quarterback Tyler Wilson could work his way into the battle to start with Matt Flynn and Terrelle Pryor in training camp. Wilson threw as if he were a seasoned veteran during a recent minicamp, throwing on target consistently be it short or long. He especially threw with velocity, causing fellow rookie receivers to bobble his passes. "Obviously, picking up a new system, there’s a little bit of rust there," Raiders coach Dennis Allen said of Wilson. "But throwing the ball, he’s done a nice job. I don’t have any question about his arm strength and his accuracy."

Raiders DB Matt Giordano had an outstanding game in Week 16 at Kansas City. Giordano had 10 tackles, including nine solo, with one interception.

The Dolphins promoted TE Jeron Mastrud from their practice squad to the 53-man roster on Tuesday.

Raiders DL Jarvis Moss suffered a hamstring injury Week 11 at Minnesota and had to leave the game. He didn't record a defensive statistic in the game.

Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said from the NFL Owners Meeting that he sees a lot of good qualities in second-year receiver Rod Streater. With Darrius Heyward-Bey cut it is believed Streater will get a chance to play regularly in Oakland this season. "I want to see him start where he left off, but I want to see continued improvement," Allen said of Streater per ESPN. "I think the guy's got talent. I think he's a good route-runner. I think he's got good ball skills. I think he'll go up and attack the ball. I think he's a tough kid. I think he believes in a lot of the things I'm looking for in a football player."

The Raiders signed defensive back Brandian Ross off Green Bay's practice squad Wednesday.

With the No. 12 pick in the first round, the Raiders selected cornerback D.J. Hayden out of Houston. The selection completes Hayden's remarkable recovery from a near-death experience in early-November when the former Cougars' cornerback underwent emergency heart surgery following a freak accident in practice. Hayden, who reportedly ran the 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds at the Cougars' Pro Day, has rapidly ascended up draft boards in recent weeks, after he was cleared to return to football.

Raiders long snapper Jon Condo left Week 1 against the Chargers in the first half due to a head injury. He did not return.

The Raiders re-signed defensive lineman Andre Carter, ESPN reports.

Linebacker Nick Roach has signed with the Raiders. He's expected to land the starting inside linebacker job.

Raiders WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh had two catches for 19 yards Saturday at Kansas City in Week 17. He had two targets in the game.

Raiders running back Marcel Reece received no carries for the second game in a row in Week 16 against the Panthers Sunday. He did see some playing time in passing situations, as he brought in four catches for 18 yards, while being targeted five times. He had a long reception of 19 yards, in a 17-6 loss.

The Raiders added defensive back Coye Francies from their practice squad Saturday to take the place of wide receiver Jacoby Ford on the active roster. Ford was placed on the season-ending injured reserve after having foot surgery earlier this week.

Raiders receiver Jacoby Ford said he's 100 percent healed from what is believed to be a Lisfranc sprain suffered in his foot, the second one he's had in as many years. He'll be ready for minicamp.

The Raiders signed linebacker Omar Gaither Wednesday.

The Raiders promoted running back Jeremy Stewart from the practice squad Saturday, reports ESPN. Oakland placed cornerback Shawntae Spencer on injured reserve to make room. Spencer was dealing with a foot injury and was already ruled out for Week 10 at Baltimore.

The Patriots have waived defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick and receiver Andre Holmes.

The Raiders signed cornerback Tracy Porter to a one-year deal on Tuesday. "They presented the best opportunity for me to get my career back on track after what transpired last season with the Denver Broncos," Porter told ESPN.

The Raiders official team website reports that newly signed receiver Josh Cribbs hopes to have a role on offense as much as just being a return man. "Definitely. I feel like it’s a definite possibility for competition at that position," Cribbs said. "At this point, my job is to come in and be a special teams' guru to help solidify our special teams unit in the NFL and to raise our goals and our standards. If we do that, we will become an elite unit." Cribbs also addressed the health of his knee. "I’m doing well," Cribbs said. "If we were lining up to play football in June then it would be a hot topic. I will be ready to play football when it’s time to play football, and I think that is the important thing."

Knee - Questionable for start of training camp

He can throw the ball and I think he's gonna be a solid quarterback. Now, how good can he be? We'll figure that out but he's got a chance to be a good, solid quarterback. He hasn't played a lot of games so that's what's ahead of him is to see what's ahead of him. He'll get in here, compete, and try to show his team and coaches if he can play. The coaching staff probably doesn't know. I'm probably the guy who knows him best and I feel good that he can play the position."

Quarterback Rhett Bomar and tight end Andre Hardy were waived Monday, the Raiders announced. Hardy, the son of former NFL running back Andre Hardy, played basketball in college but hasn't played football since high school. Bomar, who was drafted by the Giants in the fifth round in 2009, hasn't appeared in an NFL game.

After rushing for just 55 yards in three games this season, Raiders running back Jeremy Stewart was more involved on offense in Week 13 against the Browns. He led Oakland with nine carries for 46 yards in the 20-17 loss. He had a long run of 14 and averaged 5.1 yards per rush. Stewart also caught a 2-yard pass in the defeat.

After a brief competition in practice, Oakland coach Dennis Allen named Terrelle Pryor the starting quarterback for Week 17 at San Diego. Pryor, who earned the nod over veteran quarterback Matt Leinart, will make his first career NFL start after Carson Palmer was ruled out earlier this week. "He'll start the game, he'll play in the game and we'll see how the game goes," Allen said about Pryor. "He gives us a unique element of athleticism at the quarterback position."

The Raiders have signed safety Reggie Smith.
