Ricky Lumpkin
News
The Raiders have made a flurry of moves, including the placing of tight end David Ausberry on the reserve/injured list with a foot injury sustained on Oct. 19. His place on the roster will be taken by defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, who was promoted from the practice squad.

Ausberry finishes the year with just two catches for 14 yards in six games.

Cornerback Jansen Watson, who was cut by Oakland before the season, has been added to the practice squad.

Kevin Boothe
News
The Raiders signed former Giants offensive lineman Kevin Boothe to a two-year deal, ESPN reported Monday night. Boothe, who turns 31 by the time the season starts, has started each game for New York over the past two seasons. His career actually began with the Raiders in 2006 when he started 14 games for them.
Shelby Harris
News
The Raiders have waived linebacker Kaelin Burnett and defensive end Shelby Harris Thursday.

Burnett was brought back by the team in April. Harris was been inactive for both the team's games this season.

Matt Schaub
News
Despite pulling quarterback Derek Carr in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 52-0 loss at St. Louis, Raiders coach Tony Sparano said he has no plans to bench the rookie for veteran Matt Schaub. "There hasn't been really any thought about that," Sparano said, via ESPN.com.

Oakland hosts the 49ers on Sunday.

Darren McFadden
News
Asked Monday about Latavius Murray's status as the Raiders' primary ballcarrier, coach Tony Sparano said, "I've had no thought of changing that," reports CSNCalifornia.com.

Murray ran 12 times for 59 yards in the loss to the Chiefs after carrying 23 times for 76 yards Week 14 against San Francisco. Darren McFadden and Maurice Jones-Drew combined for four carries Sunday.

Oakland hosts the Bills in Week 16.

Maurice Jones-Drew

Knee, ankle - Out for Week 16 vs. Buffalo
Latavius Murray
News
Getting another start for the Raiders, running back Latavius Murray didn't exactly light up the scoreboard like in his previous meeting with the Chiefs, when he had 112 yards and two touchdowns on four carries, but he performed adequately enough Week 15 at Kansas City, gaining 59 yards on 12 carries and 17 on two catches.

The problem is he had just 12 carries -- and only a week after having 23. It wasn't because the Raiders turned to someone else. They just stopped running the ball, having only seven carries as a team in the second half.

The Raiders trailed by only a touchdown at the half, but the Chiefs pulled away soon thereafter, putting the ball in the hands of rookie quarterback Derek Carr keeping it away from the Raiders' new weapon.

That's going to happen sometimes with the running back of a 2-12 team, so even though Murray has been a nice find to end the season, you'll need to pick your spots with him. Week 16 against Buffalo could be a more competitive game, but the Bills are so tough against the run that you may still want to pass on Murray.

Khalil Mack
News
With Miles Burris (foot), Sio Moore (ankle) and Nick Roach (concussion) all recovering from injuries, the Raiders might have to start Kaluka Maiava and Bojay Filimoeatu at linebacker alongside Khalil Mack during Sunday's game against the Dolphins, according to CSNBayArea.com.

"We’ll continue to monitor that situation, but I’m hopeful that one or maybe two of (the injured players) could be ready," head coach Dennis Allen said. "We’ll just have to see how the week goes."

Derek Carr
News
Raiders rookie Derek Carr is hoping to play well in the last two games for his current coach and perhaps the coach of the future.

Carr has been a rare bright spot on a 2-12 team. He has played for the dismissed Dennis Allen and for current coach Tony Sparano. The Raiders are expected to make plenty of changes in the offseason, but Carr hopes Sparano is not a casualty.

"Right now, I am focused on playing my heart out for [Sparano] because I love him," Carr told ESPN. "I love him to death. I love playing for him. He pushes the heck out of me, and I love it. That's how I like to be coached. ... Not knowing [what the future holds] is hard, but I am grateful that I do get to play for him now."

James Jones
News
After weeks of contributing next to nothing, Raiders wide receivers James Jones and Andre Holmes suddenly put up relevant numbers Week 15 at Kansas City, the former delivering eight catches for 57 yards and a touchdown and the latter providing five catches for 70 yards.

Jones had averaged 4.3 catches for 27.3 yards in his previous six games. Holmes had averaged 2.3 for 28.0 during that same stretch. Incidentally, the last time either of them was relevant was Week 8 at Cleveland, when rookie quarterback Derek Carr threw for 328 yards.

So what did this game have in common with that one? In both, Carr attempted more than 50 passes. At least for Week 15, that meant both Jones and Holmes got ample opportunity to contribute, each finishing with double-digit targets.

So what caused Carr to throw so much, and how can we know when it'll happen again? Ah, that's the question. The Chiefs have actually been one of the more difficult teams to throw against, as have the Browns, and though the Raiders fell behind in both games, giving them more incentive to pass, that's kind of what they do every week.

As with most scenarios involving a rookie quarterback -- or the Raiders, for that matter -- it's going to be too unpredictable for you to count on it in Fantasy. Leave Jones and Holmes for deeper leagues.

News

News
All the key injured Raiders listed as questionable or probable for the Sunday game in Cleveland have been cleared.

Jon Condo
News
Raiders long snapper Jon Condo left Week 1 against the Chargers in the first half due to a head injury. He did not return.
Matt McCants
News
Wideout Vincent Brown (hamstring) is the most notable player among the Raiders inactives released for the Sunday game in Cleveland. Also hurt and out are cornerback Keith McGill (groin) and tight end David Ausberry (foot).

The healthy scratches are quarterback Matt McGloin, linebacker Bojay Filimoeatu and offensive linemen Matt McCants and Tony Bergstrom.

Nick Roach
News
The Raiders have placed linebacker Nick Roach on the season-ending injury reserve list due to the lingering effects from a concussion, the Bay Area News Group reports. Roach, who played every game last season, suffered the brain injury in an exhibition game against the Packers on Aug. 22 and was never medically cleared for full contact.

The team signed Jamar Chaney to take his spot on the roster.

Injury
Concussion - IR. Out for season
Marcel Reece
News
Raiders running back Marcel Reece has been a difference-maker in PPR leagues before, catching 52 passes in 2012, so his back-to-back games with at least six catches are worth noting in Fantasy, especially since he scored on one of his seven grabs Week 14 against San Francisco. With the emergence of Latavius Murray as the primary ball carrier, Reece probably isn't versatile enough for standard-league use, but he's no less relevant than, say, Roy Helu.

Kenny Shaw
News
The Raiders have signed wide receiver Kenny Shaw and tight end Evan Wilson to the practice squad.

Shaw was waived by three different teams during the preseason. Wilson was let go by the Dolphins during final cuts.

Antonio Smith
News
Raiders defensive back Carlos Rogers, who was listed as questionable Friday with a knee injury, and defensive lineman Antonio Smith, who was listed as questionable with a back injury, are both active for Week 3 at New England.
Marquette King
News
The Raiders released punter Chris Kluwe, handing the job to second-year pro Marquette King.

Andre Holmes

Menelik Watson
News
The Raiders released their final injury report for the Week 16 game against the Bills and listed quarterback Derek Carr (thumb) and cornerback T.J. Carrie (ankle) as probable.

The only players listed as questionable are defensive lineman C.J. Wilson (knee) and cornerback D.J. Hayden (back).

The Raiders listed the following players as out: Vincent Brown (groin), Tarell Brown (foot), Chimdi Chekwa (hamstring), Brian Leonhardt (concussion), Menelik Watson (foot) and Denarius Moore (knee).

The Raiders are 6 1/2-point underdogs.

Khalif Barnes
News
The Raiders have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 11 matchup with the Chargers: tight end David Ausberry (foot), cornerback Carlos Rogers (knee), safety Jonathan Dowling (back), quarterback Matt McGloin, wide receiver Vincent Brown and guards Gabe Jackson and Tony Bergstrom.

Ausberry, Rogers and Dowling were all previously ruled out for Sunday's game, so their absence isn't a surprise. The Raiders had two players listed as questionable, but both Justin Tuck (neck) and T,J, Carrie (ankle) are active. Also active are the team's five probables, including tackles Khalif Barnes (quad) and Menelik Watson (concussion), running back Jamize Olawale (shoulder, hamstring) and cornerbacks D.J. Hayden (groin) and Chimdi Chekwa (hamstring).

Mychal Rivera
News
Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera had a productive three-game stretch earlier in the season, so his seven-catch, 109-yard, touchdown-scoring performance Week 14 against San Francisco wasn't completely out of nowhere. But considering he had a combined seven catches for 69 yards in three games in between, a repeat performance might be a bit much to ask. The Chiefs, his Week 15 opponent, permitted him just one catch for 8 yards in Week 12.
