U-T San Diego reports Floyd suffered a high ankle sprain during Week 15 against the Panthers and did not have enough time to recover before the end of the season. Floyd finished the season with a career-high 56 catches for 814 yards and five touchdowns. Luis Castillo News The San Diego Union-Tribune reports defensive end Luis Castillo will be released by the Chargers before the start of training camp. He had re-signed back in April. Castillo will attempt to land with a team that can give him more playing time; he missed almost all of 2011 with a broken leg. "I drop in coverage a lot," Johnson said. "That is not an excuse. I would love to see my sack totals go up. That is always something I want to improve on." Telesco aid even though he is short he is very strong and he has some magic to him. When Telesco was in Indianapolis he said Woodhead always found ways to beat the Colts. Jared Gaither No Updates Chris Carr News The Chargers announced Tuesday they signed veteran cornerback Chris Carr. Chris is an experienced player, head coach Norv Turner said, per the team's official website. I was fortunate to be with him for a couple years in Oakland. Hes bounced around the league a little bit but has played at a high level. Hes been a starter in a couple of places so he brings experience. He can play in the slot and on the outside, so hes a good addition for us. But it's all good somebody gonna hit the lotto! #headshigh #noworries" Cal's career receptions leader, Allen was projected as an early first-round pick last fall before spraining the posterior cruciate ligament of his left knee in the Bears' Oct. 27 game at Utah. Allen didn't require surgery but missed the Bears' final three games, then didn't work out for scouts at the NFL combine in February after aggravating the injury.
