Kevin Pierre-Louis
News
The Seahawks declared tight end Zach Miller (ankle), cornerback Tharold Simon (knee), running back Christine Michael, defensive end Greg Scruggs, wideout Kevin Norwood, offensive tackle Alvin Bailey and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis inactive for Monday's game at Washington.
O'Brien Schofield
News
The Seahawks re-signed linebacker O'Brien Schofield, who signed with the Giants in March only to have the deal collapse. The deal was voided after a knee injury surfaced during Schofield's physical.

Schofield played in 15 games last season for the Super Bowl champs, starting twice.

Garrett Scott
News
The Seahawks waived sixth-round pick Garrett Scott, an offensive tackle from Marshall, due to a heart ailment that prevented him from passing his physical. Scott won't have to return his signing bonus of about $100,000.

Seattle is the first team to release a 2014 draft pick.

K.J. Wright
News
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said linebacker Bobby Wagner will be out a few weeks due to a turf toe injury. K.J. Wright will move over to middle linebacker while Wagner is sidelined.
Ricardo Lockette
News
The Seahawks' passing game was atrocious in Week 6. Aside from Jermaine Kearse, who caught three passes for 62 yards, no other wideout or tight end had more than two catches or 32 yards.

Receiver Doug Baldwin caught two of three targets for 32 yards, while tight end Luke Willson secured two of six targets for 11 yards. Wideout Ricardo Lockette had an 8-yard catch, tight end Cooper Helfet a 7-yarder.

Receiver Bryan Walters mustered a 5-yard grab on three targets.

Derrick Coleman
News
Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman broke his foot in pregame warmups at St. Louis and did not play in the 28-26 loss, reports 710 ESPN Radio.
Mike Morgan
News
The following players on the injury report were ruled active for the Seahawks in Week 3 against Denver: Kam Chancellor (ankle), Cooper Helfet (knee), Marshawn Lynch (back), Zach Miller (ankle), Mike Morgan (hip) and Kevin Pierre-Louis (hamstring).
Tharold Simon
News
All the Seahawks who were probable on the injury report are active for the game at St. Louis. They include offensive tackle Alvin Bailey (oblique) and cornerback Tharold Simon (knee).
Kam Chancellor
News
Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor, who was questionable with an ankle injury, is active for the game against the Cowboys. Offensive tackle Alvin Bailey (oblique) also is suiting up.
Doug Baldwin
News
Though Percy Harvin's production wasn't so great for the Seahawks, he was a big part of the game plan for the team's first five games this season, so you had to figure with him out of the picture -- he was traded to the Jets over the weekend -- somebody on the Seahawks would get more of an opportunity.

Turns out that somebody was exactly who everybody expected it to be: Doug Baldwin. In his first game without either Harvin or Golden Tate (now with the Lions) to cut into his production, he was clearly quarterback Russell Wilson's go-to guy, leading the team in receptions with seven, receiving yards with 123 and targets with 11. The targets were a career high, and the receptions and receiving yards trailed jut his eight-catch, 136-yards performance against the Giants in 2011.

Safe to say he's a must-add off the waiver wire for a team that may have to throw more than it's used to with its defense showing some vulnerability. Of course, Jermaine Kearse is gaining Fantasy appeal as well. He had only three catches for 50 yards, but his seven targets were second-most on the team. In the past, the Seahawks haven't been able to sustain two wide receivers for Fantasy purposes, but again, after two straight losses, this season is shaping up to be a little different for them.

David Gilreath
News
The Seahawks made several roster moves to get down to Tuesday's 75-player limit. They waived defensive tackle Michael Brooks, receiver David Gilreath and linebacker Horace Miller with injury designations.

Seattle also put linebacker Heath Farwell, cornerback A.J. Jefferson and guard C.J. Davis on injured reserve. Cornerback Eric Pinkins was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.

Injury
Michael Bennett
News
The Seahawks will be without the services of defensive tackle Jordan Hill (ankle), cornerback Byron Maxwell (calf), linebacker Bobby Wagner (toe), defensive end Cassius Marsh (foot), center Max Unger (foot) and tight end Zach Miller (ankle) in Week 7 at St. Louis. All six players were ruled out for Sunday's game.

Tight end Luke Willson (groin) was listed as questionable and is expected to be a game-time decision, coach Pete Carroll said.

Meanwhile, running back Marshawn Lynch (not injury related), offensive tackle Alvin Bailey (oblique), cornerback Tharold Simon (knee), defensive tackle Brandon Mebane (not injury related) and defensive end Michael Bennett (not injury related) were all ruled probable against the Rams.

Cassius Marsh
News
The Seahawks have placed defensive end Cassius Marsh (foot) on injured reserve. Marsh was diagnosed with a broken foot this week and was expected to miss at least six weeks of action.

Jordan Hill
News
The Seahawks will be missing two key defensive starters for the game against the Rams, as cornerback Byron Maxwell (calf) and middle linebacker Bobby Wagner (foot) are inactive. Also sitting out are center Max Unger (foot), tight end Zach Miller (ankle), defensive tackle Jordan Hill (ankle), tight end Luke Willson (groin) and offensive tackle Andrew McDonald.

Cliff Avril
News
Without blitzing, the Seahawks made Peyton Manning uncomfortable in the pocket. Defensive end Cliff Avril led the way with five quarterback hurries and two hits on his 32 pass rushing snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

End Chris Clemons had three hurries, a sack and a hit, and lineman Michael Bennett added four hurries.

Robert Turbin
News
Several Seahawks made minor contributions Week 7 at St. Louis. Among them, running back Robert Turbin ran twice for 7 yards and caught three passes for 24 yards. Running back Christine Michael carried twice for 5 yards.

Rookie receiver Kevin Norwood added a 4-yard reception.

Tarvaris Jackson
News
Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said the backup quarterback battle between Tarvaris Jackson and Terrelle Pryor won't be decided for a while, reports the Seattle Times. "We will kind of just let it go for the next three weeks and see what happens," Bevell said.

Pryor went 9 of 16 for 137 yards with an interception and ran for 28 yards in the preseason opener. Jackson, last year's backup, hit 5 of 7 throws for 47 yards.

Heath Farwell

Richard Sherman
News
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Dallas will not be afraid to test Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman during its Week 6 matchup with Seattle, especially when Sherman is covering star wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Opposing teams have completed just 7 of 15 passes for 154 yards and one touchdown against Sherman in 2014.

"If you go into that game with these guys, you wouldn’t really snap the ball," Garrett said of shying away from Sherman, per ESPN. "They have good players outside, they have good linebackers, they have good rushers, the free safety is fantastic. We have to go play. We have a healthy respect for their team -- all you have to do is put in the tape -- but we have to do what we do."

Marcus Burley
News
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told NFL.com that starting cornerback Byron Maxwell is believed to have suffered a high ankle sprain in the loss to the Cowboys. Maxwell left in the first half after defending two passes and making a tackle. He was replaced by Marcus Burley.
Steven Terrell
News
The Seahawks resigned defensive back Steven Terrell to the practice squad Wednesday, the team announced. Terrell joined the active roster this past weekend but was waived earlier this week.
Kevin Williams
News
The Seahawks have reached agreement with defensive tackle Kevin Williams on a one-year contract, reports ESPN.

Williams, a six-time Pro Bowl player and former defensive captain with the Vikings, will make in excess of $2 million, according to league sources. He will be entering his 12th season in the NFL, having spent his entire career until now with the Vikings.

Williams started 15 games last season for the Vikings with 3.5 sacks and an interception.

Julius Warmsley
No Updates
Steven Hauschka
News
Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka hit 24- and 35-yard field goals and added two PATs in the loss at St. Louis. He'll visit the Panthers in Week 8.
Rashaun Allen
News
The Seahawks signed safety Steven Terrell and tight end RaShaun Allen off the practice squad to the active roster Saturday. Terrell was added to the active roster in advance of last week's game before being waived and rejoining the practice squad.
Jermaine Kearse
News
Seahawks wideout Jermaine Kearse got the start Week 7 at St. Louis following the trade of Percy Harvin to the Jets. Kearse hauled in three passes for 50 yards. Kearse also was targeted on a 2-point try, but the pass was beyond his reach.

Kearse visits Carolina in Week 8.

Greg Scruggs
News
The Seahawks have waived defensive back Steven Terrell, adding defensive lineman Greg Scruggs to the active roster in a corresponding move, the Seattle Times reports. The move is the reverse of a transaction made Saturday, when Terrell was added and Scruggs was waived.
Marshawn Lynch
News
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch had his second straight subpar performance Sunday. In the 28-26 loss in St. Louis, Lynch rushed 18 times for 53 yards (2.9 ypc) and caught both his targets for 18 yards.

Lynch did not score for the second straight week. He'll visit the Panthers in Week 8.

Russell Okung
News
Seahawks left tackle Russell Okung had been diagnosed with a torn labrum in his shoulder, sources told Q13 FOX on Monday.

Okung sustained the injury in a Week 6 loss to Dallas. Although the team has not confirmed the extent of the injury, the tear on his shoulder appears to be "significant," per the report from the local news station. It remains to be seen how long Okung will be sidelined for.

The Seahawks will travel to St. Louis for a divisional clash against the Rams in Week 7.

Garry Gilliam
News
The following players were ruled inactive for the Seahawks in Week 3 against Denver: Bruce Irvin, Tharold Simon, Christine Michael, Andrew McDonald, Garry Gilliam, Kevin Norwood and Greg Scruggs.
Malcolm Smith
News
Seahawks linebackers Malcolm Smith and Korey Toomer were back in pads in practice Monday but did not participate in team drills, the Seattle Times reports.

Smith has been out since before OTAs while recovering from ankle surgery. Toomer has been sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Andrew McDonald
Stephen Schilling
News
The Seahawks have signed guard Stephen Schilling, reports the Everett Herald. Schilling spent the first three seasons of his career with the Chargers.
Cooper Helfet
News
When you see that tight end Cooper Helfet had 61 yards on three catches, including an impressive 19-yard touchdown in which he caught the ball over the top of a defender while keeping his feet in bounds, your natural reaction might be to say, "Hey, it's because Percy Harvin is no longer with the team."

But that wasn't the biggest contributing factor to his performance. Above all, he saw more time on the field because the Seahawks' top two tight ends, Zach Miller and Luke Willson, were sidelined by injuries. Miller has now missed three games following ankle surgery and will likely miss a couple more, but Willson (groin) was a game-time decision for Week 7. He could certainly return in Week 8.

True, maybe Helfet's touchdown grab earns him a bigger slice of the pie going forward, but sharing the tight end spot on a run-first team probably won't yield much in Fantasy. Again, even in this one, he had just three catches total.

Christine Michael

Rookie receiver Kevin Norwood added a 4-yard reception.

Russell Wilson
News
Though it wasn't the case Week 6 against Dallas, when the Seahawks began what's now their first losing streak since 2012, quarterback Russell Wilson has thrived with the team's diminished dominance this season. Never was it more apparent than Week 7 at St. Louis, when a come-from-behind effort translated to a career high in total yards. He completed 23 of 36 passes for 313 yards and ran seven times for 106. It was his second 100-yard rushing effort in his last three games.

He also had three touchdowns -- two through the air and one on the ground -- giving him multiple scores in five of the team's six games this season. He had multiple scores in only eight of 16 games last season.

Though the Seahawks have done a fine job limiting yardage, they haven't been as dominant defensively as they were last season, and that's given them a greater need for offense late in games. Though they won't always be playing from behind against a defense that will allow them to make up ground, they may need to throw in the fourth quarter often enough for Wilson to keep this up.

He's a good choice to start again Week 8 at Carolina.

Zach Miller
News
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said tight end Zach Miller (ankle) and center Max Unger (foot) will not play Week 7 at St. Louis. It will be the second straight game Unger misses and third straight for Miller.
Injury
Ankle - Missed Week 7 at St. Louis
Jeron Johnson
News
Seahawks defensive back Jeron Johnson was forced out of Friday's preseason game against the Bears with a foot injury. He left the game in the second half and taken back to the locker room for further evaluation, ruling him out for the remainder of the game.
Jon Ryan
News
The Seahawks got offensive contributions from several role players in their Week 5 win at Washington. Tight end Cooper Helfet made a 36-yard catch on two targets, and tight end Luke Willson caught three of four targets for 28 yards.

Holder Jon Ryan executed a fake field goal, picking up a first down with a 5-yard run.

Justin Britt
News
With Breno Giacomini having left the Seahawks for the Jets, Seattle will have a training camp competition at right tackle. Michael Bowie and rookie Justin Britt are the top candidates for the job.

The Seattle Times gives Bowie the edge because he started nine games last year, including at guard in the playoff win over the Saints. Still, the paper suggests Seattle might use a rotation at right tackle, akin to what it did at left guard last year.

Luke Willson
Injury
Groin - Missed Week 7 at St. Louis
Terrance Parks
News
The Seahawks signed offensive tackle Andrew McDonald off Carolina's practice squad. Seattle also added guard Nate Isles and safety Terrance Parks to its practice squad while releasing guard David Arkin and safety Josh Aubrey from the squad.
Eric Pinkins
News
Seahawks defensive back Eric Pinkins returned from the Reserved/Non-Football Injury list Wednesday, the team announced. Pinkins suffered a Lisfranc injury this summer and was placed on the reserved/NFI list in late August.
Tony McDaniel
News
Seahawks defensive tackle Tony McDaniel will replace Red Bryant as the "five technique" after playing the "three technique" last year, reports The News Tribune. The five technique lines up on the outside shoulder of a tackle, while the three technique lines up on the outside shoulder of a guard.

McDaniel often played outside during his four seasons with the Dolphins.

"A lot of people probably don’t know much about me and that I played there before," McDaniel told the paper. "I’ve got the body type — 6-7, 320. I definitely fit the body type to play end. It wasn’t a big deal to move out there."

McDaniel re-signed with Seattle for two years at $5.75 million, while Bryant left for the Jaguars. McDaniel had 53 tackles and two sacks in 15 starts last year.

James Carpenter
News
Seahawks general manager John Schneider said Wednesday the team still has not decided whether it will exercise the 2015 option on guard James Carpenter, reports The News Tribune. The fifth-year option would be worth over $7 million.

Seattle must decide by Saturday.

Paul Richardson
News
Seahawks rookie wideout Paul Richardson saw more playing time Week 7 following the trade of Percy Harvin, and he responded with four catches for 33 yards. Richardson drew five targets, which ranked fourth on the team.

Richardson entered the game with one catch all season. He'll visit the Panthers in Week 8.

Jeremy Lane
News
Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane is expected to return to practice this week, according to head coach Pete Carroll during Monday's press conference, per 710 AM ESPN Radio in Seattle. Lane sustained a significantly aggravated his groin injury in the season opener against the Packers on Sept. 4. Lane could be activated as early as Week 8.
Injury
Groin - Ir. Designated to return. Eligible to return Week 9
Phil Bates
News
The Seahawks have waived wide receiver Phil Bates, who has been on and off their practice squad the last two years. He has yet to play a down in the NFL.
Byron Maxwell
News
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said cornerback Byron Maxwell is day to day with a calf strain. His status for Week 7 at St. Louis remains up in the air.
Injury
Calf - Missed Week 7 at St. Louis
Nate Isles
News
The Seahawks signed offensive tackle Andrew McDonald off Carolina's practice squad. Seattle also added guard Nate Isles and safety Terrance Parks to its practice squad while releasing guard David Arkin and safety Josh Aubrey from the squad.
Demitrius Bronson
News
The Seattle Seahawks waived the following players Saturday: QB Terrelle Pryor, OT Eric Winston, CB Phillip Adams, DE Benson Mayowa, TE Rashaun Allen, CB Akeem Auguste, RB Demitrius Bronson, WR Arceto Clark, QB B.J. Daniels, OL Caylin Hauptmann, OL Nate Isles, OL Patrick Lewis, WR Chris Matthews, S Terrance Parks, TE Morrell Presley, DT Andru Pulu, FB Kiero Small, DT Jimmy Staten, S Steven Terrell, LB Korey Toomer, WR Bryan Walters and RB Spencer Ware.
Brandon Mebane

Patrick Lewis
News
The Seahawks signed center Patrick Lewis and waived cornerback Josh Thomas Wednesday.

Starting center Max Unger was in and out of Monday's win with a foot injury, and with the starter day-to-day, the team has brought in depth at the position. Undrafted in 2013, Lewis has yet to play in a regular-season game.

Bryan Walters
