News
Titans receiver Kendall Wright admitted he's frustrated and is seeking more opportunities on offense, but told the Tennessean "there is nothing I can do about it, really."

"All I can do is go to work and do what the coaches ask me," Wright said. "It's not like I am going to go Dez Bryant and throw a couple of tantrums and ask for the ball. If I don't get it, I don't get it. Yeah, that is part of the frustration, but I'll get over it.

"… Any receiver would like more opportunities. But it is not my job to say anything to the coaches. If I could get more opportunities, I definitely would take them. I just want to do whatever I can to help. I don't know what I am doing right now, I don't know if it is much to be honest with you."

Wright caught four passes for a season-high 70 yards in a Week 11 loss to Pittsburgh on Monday night. A year after breaching the 1,000-yard plateau, Wright is on pace to finish the season with under 800 receiving yards. He has 43 grabs for 473 yards and four touchdowns through 10 games.

Injury
Michael Oher
News
The Titans might not start rookie offensive tackle Taylor Lewan until 2015, reports the Tennessean. But that all depends on the status of current left tackle Michael Roos, reports TitansInsider.com.

The Tennessean reports that Lewan will likely be the top reserve behind Roos and right tackle Michael Oher. It adds that "more than likely, Lewan is going to be a backup in 2014."

But TitansInsider.com reports that with Lewan in the fold, there is talk the Titans might move Roos. He is set to make $6.625 million this year and was paid a $1 million roster bonus last month.

The report adds that moving on from Roos would not cost the Titans anything cap wise since he is in the last year of his deal. But talk of the move is just speculation for now.

If Walker is unable to suit up for Week 11, the team will likely rely on Chase Coffman, Richard Gordon and Brett Brackett, according to the Tennessean. All three have combined for only two receptions this season.

"Chase showed in the preseason … what he's been able to do in the passing game," offensive coordinator Jason Michael said. "The other two guys are able to help us in the run game. That (tight end) position has grown, so you have to do a little of everything – a little running back, a little offensive tackle and a little receiver."

Titans free safety Michael Griffin has issued a challenge to his defense: It's put-up and shut-up time.

Griffin will Sunday against Jacksonville no longer be playing aside fellow safety and vocal leader Bernard Pollard, who is out for the season with an Achilles injury. He is trying to take that leadership role and run with it with a different approach.

"Right now, we have to stop all the talking, and start doing," Griffin told The Tennesseean. "We need less talking and more playing, and that is nothing against Bernard. He was our vocal leader, a guy who gets us riled up. But with a four-game losing streak, we need to focus and start playing. We put ourselves in a hole and we have to get out."

The Titans rank 15th in the AFC in points allowed at 27.8 per game.

Zaviar Gooden
News
Fifth-round pick Avery Williamson has cut into the snaps of veteran inside linebacker Zaviar Gooden for the Titans, The Tennessean has reported.

The rookie did not play on defense until Week 3, but he made four tackles in 13 snaps against Cincinnati. He was on the field for 26 snaps last week against Indianapolis and made nine tackles. He has been playing with the first team this week in practice.

"(Williams is) doing a nice job," Ken Whisenhunt said. "He has to learn his assignments ... and he has to be able to execute them consistently. It's a process that all your young players go through. Everyone wants to throw young players out there, but sometimes they're not ready yet."

Byron Stingily
News
Tight end Taylor Thompson (knee) and cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (concussion) are the lone injured players on the inactive list released Sunday by the Titans for their game against Cleveland.

The healthy scratches are quarterback Zach Mettenberger, wide receiver Kris Durham, linebacker James Anderson, defensive tackle DaQuan Jones and tackle Byron Stingily.

Antonio Andrews
News
The Titans declared tight end Delanie Walker (concussion), cornerback Brandon Harris, wideout Kris Durham, running back Antonio Andrews, offensive tackle Will Svitek, defensive tackle DaQuan Jones and quarterback Charlie Whitehurst inactive for Monday's game against the Steelers.
Jackie Battle
News
Several Titans made offensive contributions in the Week 11 home loss to Pittsburgh. Among them, running back Shonn Greene rushed three times for 6 yards. Running back Dexter McCluster had a 17-yard reception and a 5-yard carry.

Wideout Derek Hagan made a 5-yard grab, and running back Jackie Battle caught two balls for 4 yards. They'll all visit the Eagles in Week 12.

Brett Brackett
News
The Titans remain hopeful that tight end Delanie Walker will play Monday night against the Steelers. Walker is working his way back from a concussion and has yet to be medically cleared to play.
