Kris Durham
News
The Titans have announced the following players as inactive for Week 3's matchup with the Bengals: quarterback Zach Mettenberger, wide receivers T.J. Graham and Kris Durham, linebacker Akeem Ayers, offensive tackle Byron Stingily and defensive linemen DaQuan Jones and Mike Martin.
Jurrell Casey
News
Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey signed a four-year contract extension worth $36 million, including $20.5 million guaranteed, his agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Casey had 10.5 sacks and 55 tackles last year.
Charlie Whitehurst
News
Titans cornerback Jason McCourty (groin) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Bengals.

McCourty was listed as questionable on the team's final injury report, but he'll suit up. Running back Dexter McCluster (foot), quarterback Charlie Whitehurst (finger) and linebacker Wesley Woodyard (ankle) are also active after being listed as probable.

Jake Locker
News
Titans quarterback Jake Locker completed just 17 of his 34 passes for 185 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in his team's 33-7 loss to the Bengals Sunday.

Locker was able to rush for 50 yards on six carries, but he struggled for the second consecutive week after putting up a nice performance in Week 1. He threw his first interception deep in his own territory to set the Bengals up for a touchdown, then threw his second at the end of the first half after a turnover put Tennessee in scoring range to deny the team points heading into halftime.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said after the game that he would be patient with the struggling quarterback, The Tennessean reports. The Titans head to Indianapolis to face the Colts in Week 4.

Khalid Wooten
News
The Titans' list of inactives for Week 16 at Jacksonville includes offensive lineman David Stewart (shoulder), quarterback Tyler Wilson, wide receiver Kenny Britt, defensive back Khalid Wooten, linebacker Zaviar Gooden, offensive lineman Kevin Matthews and defensive lineman Lavar Edwards. Wilson, Britt, Wooten, Gooden, Matthews and Edwards are all healthy scratches.
Kamerion Wimbley
News
The Titans and defensive end Kamerion Wimbley agreed to a restructured contract that will pay him $9 million over three years, reports ESPN's Adam Caplan. Wimbley had been scheduled to make $6 million this season, but the team asked him to take a pay cut and he agreed rather than possibly get released.
Quentin Groves
News
The Titans signed linebacker Quentin Groves, who has six sacks and two forced fumbles over the past two seasons. He was cut by the Texans on Saturday.
Chance Warmack
News
The Titans listed offensive tackle David Stewart (shoulder) and guard Chance Warmack (ankle) as probable for Thursday's game against the Colts. Both practiced fully Tuesday and Wednesday.

Linebacker Zaviar Gooden is officially questionable with a hamstring injury despite not practicing all week.

James Anderson
News
The Titans signed veteran linebacker James Anderson, reports ESPN.com. He made 102 tackles for the Bears last year and was cut by the Patriots last month.
Avery Williamson
News
With the 151st pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans selected inside linebacker Avery Williamson from Kentucky.

WIlliamson registered at least six tackles in every game he started except for one last year for the Wildcats. The 6-foot-1, 246-pounder amassed 237 tackles with four sacks in his last two collegiate seasons.
Wesley Woodyard

Tennessee cut the following players: T Jeff Adams, CB Ri'Shard Anderson, RB Antonio Andrews, DL Chigbo Anunoby, K Maikon Bonani, CB Tommie Campbell, TE Chase Coffman, LB Brandon Copeland, QB Dominique Davis, DE Marcus Dixon, LB Moise Fokou, WR Marc Mariani, G Justin McCray, FB Collin Mooney, OL Eric Olsen, T William Poehls, WR Rico Richardson, WR Brian Robiskie, TE Jason Schepler and CB Winston Wright.

T.J. Graham
News

Coty Sensabaugh
News
The Titans have elevated cornerback Khalid Wooten from the practice squad and placed cornerback Coty Sensabaugh on IR with a foot injury. Sensabaugh has been an occasional starter this season. He tied a season-high with five tackles Sunday against Arizona.
Zach Mettenberger
Leon Washington
News
The running back situation for the Titans remains a guessing game, as head coach Ken Whisenhunt continues to split the workload among four running backs.

Dexter McCluster dominated the backfield timeshare through two weeks, playing 52 offensive snaps to Shonn Greene's 40. However, Greene currently leads the team in rushing with 111 yards on 20 carries. McCluster has 59 yards through the ground on 13 carries, with two catches on three targets.

Bishop Sankey has only played 14 snaps this season, 10 of which came in Week 1. He has eight carries for 28 yards, which ranks third among his running mates. Although Leon Washington has played 22 snaps, he's gotten only four touches. Washington has two carries for 23 yards through two weeks.

William Poehls
News
The Titans dumped 20 players Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

Tennessee cut the following players: T Jeff Adams, CB Ri'Shard Anderson, RB Antonio Andrews, DL Chigbo Anunoby, K Maikon Bonani, CB Tommie Campbell, TE Chase Coffman, LB Brandon Copeland, QB Dominique Davis, DE Marcus Dixon, LB Moise Fokou, WR Marc Mariani, G Justin McCray, FB Collin Mooney, OL Eric Olsen, T William Poehls, WR Rico Richardson, WR Brian Robiskie, TE Jason Schepler and CB Winston Wright.
Taylor Thompson
News
Titans offensive coordinator Jason Michael likes what sees from tight end Taylor Thompson so far this offseason, reports the team's official website.

"I think Taylor Thompson has come along," Michael said. "He's still young to the position, with changing from defensive end, and I know we've talked about those things and at some point, he's got to put that behind him and move forward and be a tight end and I think he's making steps toward doing that and working hard every day. He's a big receiving threat who is a strong, physical guy and just has to put it all together. He's done a good job through OTAs and minicamp. We've just got to keep making those strides in training camp and into the season."

Bishop Sankey
News
By virtue of his 10-carry, 61-yard outing Sunday at Cincinnati (along with a 9-yard catch), Titans rookie rusher Bishop Sankey could be closing in on taking over the primary rushing job from veteran Shonn Greene. In Sunday's loss Greene scored but had 33 yards on 10 carries.

Sankey has 18 carries for 89 yards, a 4.9 rushing average, but Greene has 30 carries for 144 yards, good for 4.8 average. So perhaps there could be something closer to a split next week at Indianapolis. Now might be the time to buy low on Sankey if not claim him off of waivers.

Derek Hagan
News
The Buccaneers waived wide receiver Carlton Mitchell, defensive end Ernest Owusu, quarterback Adam Weber and defensive end Markus White, and released wide receiver Derek Hagan, fullback Spencer Larsen and safety Troy Nolan.

The team also put corner Anthony Gaitor (torn ACL) and running back Michael Smith (torn foot ligament) on injured reserve. Finally, the team signed tight end Mike Shanahan.

Chigbo Anunoby
News
The Titans dumped 20 players Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

Tennessee cut the following players: T Jeff Adams, CB Ri'Shard Anderson, RB Antonio Andrews, DL Chigbo Anunoby, K Maikon Bonani, CB Tommie Campbell, TE Chase Coffman, LB Brandon Copeland, QB Dominique Davis, DE Marcus Dixon, LB Moise Fokou, WR Marc Mariani, G Justin McCray, FB Collin Mooney, OL Eric Olsen, T William Poehls, WR Rico Richardson, WR Brian Robiskie, TE Jason Schepler and CB Winston Wright.
Taylor Lewan
News
The Titans signed first-round pick Taylor Lewan, an offensive tackle out of Michigan, to a four-year deal, reports the Tennessean. Selected 11th overall, Lewan will try to unseat free agent acquisition Michael Oher at right tackle.
Al Woods
News
The Titans signed defensive lineman Al Woods to a two-year deal Wednesday, ending his two-year run with the Steelers. Woods' contract will pay him $5 million over two years, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Woods is coming off the most productive season of his career, as he played in all 16 games for the first time in four seasons. He picked up 16 tackles and two sacks, the latter of which represents a career-high for the 26-year-old.

Josh Stewart
Injury
Brian Schwenke
News
Guard Andy Levitre (hip), linebacker Akeem Ayers (knee) and center Brian Schwenke (ankle) will not participate in next week's OTAs as they recover from surgical procedures, reports ESPN.com.
Nate Washington
News
Titans veteran receiver Nate Washington finished with four catches for 59 yards during a 26-10 win Week 1 at Kansas City. He was targeted six times and his longest catch went 19 yards.

The Titans are back in action Week 2 vs. Dallas.

Kendall Wright
News
Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright caught only five of his 10 targets for 44 yards in his team's 33-7 loss to the Bengals Sunday.

Wright has yet to reach 50 receiving yards in any of his team's first three games, but he was finally heavily targeted after averaging only six targets in his first two starts. A strong Bengals defense and a struggling Jake Locker did the receiver no favors. Wright could have an easier time in Week 4 when the Bengals head to Indianapolis.

Dontay Moch
News
The Bengals made a slew of moves Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

Among those moves was the placement of guard Trey Hopkins on the reserve/injured list with a leg issue. Rookie quarterback AJ McCarron was put on the reserve/non-football injury list with a shoulder problem.

The Bengals also cut the following offensive players: tackles Dan France and Will Svitek, wide receivers Colin Lockett and Cobi Hamilton, center Trevor Robinson and running backs James Wilder and Nikita Whitlock.

Defenders waived by the Bengals include safety Danieal Manning, cornerbacks Onterio McCalebb and Victor Hampton, tackles Devon Still and David King and ends Sam Montgomery and Dontay Moch.

Cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris will begin serving a two-game drug suspension handed dowsn by the league.

Michael Roos
News
The Titans might not start rookie offensive tackle Taylor Lewan until 2015, reports the Tennessean. But that all depends on the status of current left tackle Michael Roos, reports TitansInsider.com.

The Tennessean reports that Lewan will likely be the top reserve behind Roos and right tackle Michael Oher. It adds that "more than likely, Lewan is going to be a backup in 2014."

But TitansInsider.com reports that with Lewan in the fold, there is talk the Titans might move Roos. He is set to make $6.625 million this year and was paid a $1 million roster bonus last month.

The report adds that moving on from Roos would not cost the Titans anything cap wise since he is in the last year of his deal. But talk of the move is just speculation for now.

Blidi Wreh-Wilson
News
The Titans have listed the following players active for Week 7 against the 49ers despite dealing with injuries: running back Jackie Battle (neck), defensive lineman Lavar Edwards (shoulder), running back Shonn Greene (knee), defensive lineman Sammie Lee Hill (ankle), defensive back Bernard Pollard (ankle) and defensive back Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring).
Craig Stevens
News
Titans tight end Craig Stevens agreed to a pay cut that slashes his 2014 salary from $3.4 million to $1.6 million, according to OverTheCap.com. Stevens, 29, is a blocking tight end who's never caught more than 23 passes in a season.
Shaun Phillips
News
Free agent defensive end Shaun Phillips signed a two-year deal worth up to $6 million with the Titans, reports the Tennessean. Phillips had 10 sacks for the Broncos last season.
Mike Martin
Bernard Pollard
News
Safety Bernard Pollard tweeted that he re-signed with the Titans for two years. He had 99 tackles and three interceptions last season.
Justin Hunter
News
Titans wide receiver Justin Hunter caught just three of his seven targets for 37 yards in his team's 33-7 loss to the Bengals in Week 3.

Hunter has received 21 targets over his first three games, but he's only managed to record eight receptions for 126 receiving yards and no touchdowns. He managed to put his team in field-goal range with his first reception in the second quarter Sunday, but the eventual attempt missed wide right. Three of his four incomplete targets came during the team's final drive of the fourth quarter. Hunter will look for his first breakout performance of the season when the Titans face the Colts in Week 4.

Sammie Lee Hill
News
Titans defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill has been given the green light for Sunday at Indianapolis with a back injury that had him designated as questionable.
Ropati Pitoitua
News
The Titans agreed to a new three-year deal with defensive end Ropati Pitoitua on Thursday, the same day his son, Ryder, was born.

Per The Tennessean, Pitoitua will land $9.6 million over the deal with a $2.175 million signing bonus.

Pitoitua is a run-stopping defensive lineman with the Titans; he's totaled 95 tackles and seven sacks over the last two seasons.

Shonn Greene
News
Titans running back Shonn Greene rushed for 33 yards on 10 carries and scored a touchdown in his team's 33-7 loss to the Bengals in Week 3.

Greene plunged into the end zone from one yard out for a garbage-time touchdown in the fourth quarter, which was his first score of the season. He shared the ball evenly with rookie Bishop Sankey in the loss, with the rookie nearly doubling Greene's rushing yards. The touchdown was on Greene's only carry of the second half. He'll travel to Indianapolis next week as the Titans take on the Colts.

Jason McCourty

Colin McCarthy
News
Titans linebacker Colin McCarthy was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. McCarthy underwent shoulder surgery earlier in August, so the assignment isn't a surprise.
Injury
Michael Oher

Brandon Harris
News
Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger, wide receiver T.J. Graham, wide receiver Kris Durham, cornerback Brandon Harris, linebacker Zach Brown (shoulder), tackle Byron Stingily and defensive lineman DaQuan Jones were all ruled inactive Week 2 vs. Dallas.
Andy Levitre
News
Guard Andy Levitre (hip), linebacker Akeem Ayers (knee) and center Brian Schwenke (ankle) will not participate in next week's OTAs as they recover from surgical procedures, reports ESPN.com.
Delanie Walker
News
Titans tight end Delanie Walker led the team with 54 receiving yards on four receptions in his team's 33-7 loss to the Bengals in Week 3.

One week after exploding against the Cowboys, Walker was held mostly in check in Cincinnati, receiving seven targets and failing to score a touchdown for the first time this season. He was targeted on one of the team's two receptions Sunday and received just one target in the second half, though he did recover a Jake Locker fumble on a botched snap. Walker has 17 catches, 233 yards and two touchdowns going into next week's matchup with the Colts.

Karl Klug
News
Several Titans listed on the injury report are active for their game vs. Arizona, including linebacker Akeem Ayers and cornerback Alterraun Verner, who were questionable with groin injuries.

Defensive end Karl Klug (back), guard Andy Levitre (hip), center Brian Schwenke (ankle), offensive tackle David Stewart (shoulder) and running back Leon Washington (ankle) all will play after being listed as probable.

Justin Staples
News
The Browns signed tight end Gerrell Robinson off Denver's practice squad and added receiver Ifeanyi Momah to their practice squad. Cleveland cut linebacker Justin Staples from the squad.
Ryan Succop
News
Titans kicker Ryan Succop missed both of his field-goal attempts in the team's 33-7 loss to the Bengals in Week 3.

Succop had his 40-yard attempt on the team's first drive of the game miss wide right. He missed again wide right from 44 yards out on the first drive of the second quarter. Succop eventually tacked on an extra point on a garbage-time touchdown in the fourth quarter. He was a perfect 5-for-5 entering Week 3, and he'll look to get back on track in an indoor game against the Colts in Week 4.

Daimion Stafford
News
Four of the Titans' last five picks in the NFL draft were on the defensive side of the ball. The team took Mizzou linebacker Zaviar Gooden, LSU defensive end Lavar Edwards, Nevada cornerback Kahlid Wooten and Nebraska safety Daimion Stafford.
Dexter McCluster
News
Titans running back Dexter McCluster was able to practice in full Thursday.

McCluster popped up on the injury report Wednesday with a foot injury. The fact that he was upgraded to full practice bodes well for his status Week 3.

Derrick Morgan
News
The Titans' Derrick Morgan is moving from defensive end to outside linebacker in Tennessee's new 3-4 scheme. He told TitanInsider.com that he played some linebacker at Georgia Tech, so the transition won't be that difficult.

"My first position playing football was at linebacker, but it's been awhile. It's not too different. It's not too foreign for me to stand up and play out of a two-point stance. I've just got to continue to work at it," Morgan said. "I moved around a lot, especially my junior year, all over the field, linebacker, blitzing and stuff like that. I've definitely done it before."

Morgan has 16.5 sacks in four years and will be counted on to provide a big pass rush this season.

"I feel like I can rush the passer. That's what I was brought in to do. I feel like I can cover if need be," he said. "I'm still playing in the NFL. This is a great job. This is a change-up, but something I'm definitely going to embrace and work hard at."

Ri'Shard Anderson
News
The Titans dumped 20 players Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

Tennessee cut the following players: T Jeff Adams, CB Ri'Shard Anderson, RB Antonio Andrews, DL Chigbo Anunoby, K Maikon Bonani, CB Tommie Campbell, TE Chase Coffman, LB Brandon Copeland, QB Dominique Davis, DE Marcus Dixon, LB Moise Fokou, WR Marc Mariani, G Justin McCray, FB Collin Mooney, OL Eric Olsen, T William Poehls, WR Rico Richardson, WR Brian Robiskie, TE Jason Schepler and CB Winston Wright.
Michael Griffin
News
Titans receiver Nate Washington and safety Michael Griffin could return to the team in 2014 despite each having a hefty salary, reports the Tennessean.

Griffin is owed $6.2 million in 2014, and Washington is scheduled to earn $4.8 million. Despite that, the report says both are expected back for next season.

Akeem Ayers
Zaviar Gooden
News
Titans inside linebacker Zach Brown is expected to miss the rest of the season after tearing his pectoral muscle Week 1, reports the Tennessean. Zaviar Gooden replaced Brown on Sunday against the Chiefs, making four tackles, one for loss, and should step in moving forward.
Byron Stingily
Antonio Andrews
News
The Titans dumped 20 players Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

Jackie Battle
News
The Titans have released their final injury report for Week 2.

Linebacker Zach Brown is the only player who has been ruled out for the contest. Defensive lineman Mike Martin is questionable. The team listed four players as probable entering the game. Justin Hunter, Jackie Battle, Charlie Whitehurst and George Wilson should be able to go Week 2.

The Titans defense couldn't record a sack but managed one interception in the team's 33-7 blowout loss to the Bengals in Week 3.

The Titans racked up eight sacks over the team's first two games but couldn't get anything done against the Bengals' offensive line Sunday. Tennessee fell victim to a trick-play touchdown in the first quarter, with Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton catching a touchdown pass from wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. The Bengals also converted for three touchdowns in goal-to-go situations.

Titans safety George Wilson made the lone big play for the defense, picking off Dalton on a tipped ball during an attempted screen deep in Cincinnati territory late in the first half. Unfortunately, the Tennesee offense wasn't able to convert the turnover into points, throwing its own interception before halftime. The Titans will look to rebound when they head to Indianapolis in Week 4.
