Robert Griffin III

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III put together a solid effort in Week 15, as he came off the bench in place of an injured Colt McCoy.

Griffin, who was benched for poor performance three weeks ago, put together arguably his best performance of the season Sunday. He completed 18 of 27 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 46 yards to finish the game with 19 Fantasy points.

McCoy's injury doesn't seem too serious, but it is possible Griffin remains in the starting lineup moving forward anyways. The Eagles come up on the schedule in Week 16, and Griffin would be just a desperation play at this point in the season.

Gabe Miller

DeSean Jackson
News
Though the Redskins got a solid performance out of Robert Griffin III in Week 15, their two main wide receivers, Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson didn't benefit.

Jackson, who made his return from a shin injury Sunday, had just three receptions for 15 yards, despite being targeted eight times. He led the team in targets, one ahead of Garcon, who had just four catches of his own for 36 yards. That coming off a nine-catch, 95-yard showing last week.

Both players have shown the ability to be productive, but the inconsistent quarterback play has hurt them this season. Whether Griffin or Colt McCoy gets the starting nod in Week 16, neither player should be viewed as more than a low-end starting option against the Eagles, though both players had 100-plus yards and a touchdown in a prior meeting.

Darrel Young
News
The Redskins got a slew of offensive contributions in Monday's overtime win at Dallas. Among them, running back Roy Helu ran five times for 29 yards and caught both his targets for 14 yards. Running back Silas Redd had a 5-yard rush.

Tight end Niles Paul caught all three of his targets for 27 yards, and fullback Darrel Young had a 12-yard catch. Wideout Andre Roberts secured just one of his five targets for 11 yards. They'll all visit the Vikings in Week 9.

Chris Baker
News
The Redskins enter Week 14 pretty banged up, with 10 players listed on its final injury report for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Linebacker Will Compton (shoulder) and defensive lineman Barry Cofield Jr. (illness) were the only two players on the report deemed probable. Defensive end Jason Hatcher (knee), defensive end Kedric Golston (back, foot), wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shin), quarterback Colt McCoy (neck) and defensive lineman Chris Baker (chest, toe) were all ruled as questionable.

Meanwhile, running back Roy Helu Jr. (toe), safety Brandon Meriweather (toe) and linebacker Keenan Robinson (knee) were all ruled out for the game.

Injury
Chest, toe - Full practice. Probable for Week 16 vs. Philadelphia
Colt McCoy
News
The Redskins put quarterback Colt McCoy on injured reserve Tuesday, two days after he aggravated his neck injury in the loss to the Giants. McCoy played in five games this season, completing 71.1 percent of this throws for 1,057 yards and four touchdowns with three interceptions.

Hatcher registered 25 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 13 games.

Injury
Knee - Did not practice. Questionable for Week 16 vs. Philadelphia
Logan Paulsen
News
Redskins tight end Logan Paulsen (foot, hamstring) was officially listed as questionable for Week 11, per the team's official website. Nick Sundberg

The Redskins released safety Jordan Pugh and signed defensive back Trenton Robinson, reports 106.7 The Fan. Washington also placed long snapper Nick Sundberg and linebacker Bryan Kehl on IR with knee injuries.

Long snapper Kyle Nelson was signed to replace Sundberg, and linebacker Josh Hull was added to replace Kehl.

Jackson Jeffcoat
News
The Redskins announced they elevated linebacker Jackson Jeffcoat from the practice squad to the active roster.
Niles Paul
News
Washington's backup receivers did little Week 14 against the Rams.

Santana Moss managed to pick up some slack with DeSean Jackson out. He finished second on the team in receiving yards, picking up 43 yards on three receptions. Tight end Jordan Reed also had three catches, gaining 25 yards. Andre Roberts hauled in two balls, picking up 11 yards. Niles Paul had one catch for 7 yards. Ryan Grant also had one catch. He finished with 4 yards.

The group will look for more Week 15 against the Giants.

Garcon extended his scoreless streak to seven games. The Redskins are back in action Week 16 against the Eagles.

News
The Redskins have signed tight end Chase Dixon to their practice squad on Monday, per the team's official website. Dixon was cut by the Seahawks in the offseason and has yet to play a regular season game in his career.
Stephen Bowen
News
The Redskins listed quarterback Kirk Cousins, wide receiver Aldrick Robinson, guard Spencer Long, defensive lineman Stephen Bowen, defensive back E.J. Biggers, tackle Tyler Polumbus and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson as inactive against the Colts Week 13.
Shawn Lauvao
News

Keenan Robinson
News
The Redskins could be without two of their defensive stars for Week 15 against the Giants. Defensive back Brandon Meriweather and linebacker Keenan Robinson were unable to practice again on Friday, per Comcast SportsNet Washington. The team will announce their statuses for Sunday's game later in the day.
