Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton caught two passes for seven yards in Sunday's 42-28 loss to the Bengals. Hilton was targeted five times.
The seven yards were the fewest this season for Hilton, who hasn't eclipsed 50 receiving yards since Week 10. He had been listed on the injury report this week with a shoulder injury, but there was no immediate indication if that played a factor in his usage.
The Colts play the Texans in Week 15. Hilton caught seven passes for 121 yards and three touchdowns when the teams played in Week 9.
Colts wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey caught two passes for 23 yards in Sunday's 42-28 loss to the Bengals. He was targeted three times.
Both Da'Rick Rogers and LaVon Brazill caught two touchdowns in Week 14, as Andrew Luck clearly favored the two youngsters, especially in the second half, when the Colts were going pass-heavy to play catch-up.
Heyward-Bey also limped off the field on the Colts' final touchdown, and was having his knee examined on the sideline as the game wound down.
The Colts play the Texans in Week 15. Heyward-Bey caught one pass for 11 yards when the teams first met in Week 9.
Mike Glennon tosses pair of scores in otherwise subpar game
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon didn't put up big numbers in Week 14 against the Bills, but he took advantage of some short fields in a 27-6 win Sunday.
Glennon finished with a career-low 90 yards through the air, while completing just 9 of 25 pass attempts. This would have been his worst game of the season, but he tossed a pair of touchdowns, of 38 and 5 yards, for his third multi-touchdown in the last four.
Glennon's defense gave him numerous short fields thanks to four interceptions, but he struggled to take care of the ball himself. Glennon was intercepted twice in the game, matching his worst career total, set in his first appearance.
Glennon has now started 10 games for the Buccaneers, posting a 4-6 record. He heads into Week 15 against the 49ers with 2,052 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his rookie season.
The injury that had Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski carted off the field in the third quarter of the game Sunday against the Browns is believed to be a torn ACL, per Fox Sports. He is scheduled for an MRI on Monday that could confirm it.
Gronkowski was upended after only his second catch of the day on a hard tackle by safety T.J. Ward.
Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill caught three passes for 53 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 42-28 loss to the Bengals. Brazill was targeted four times.
Brazill's first touchdown came in the third quarter. He took a short pass from Andrew Luck, then ran through six defenders to score from 19 yards out. Brazill's second touchdown came on a beautifully-thrown 29-yard bullet pass from Andrew Luck in the fourth.
Brazill has increased his yardage in each of the last three games, and has 12 targets in his last two. The Colts face the Texans in Week 15.
EJ Manuel picked off four times in worst performance
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
Heading into Week 14 against the Buccaneers, Bills quarterback EJ Manuel had thrown just one interception in his previous three games since returning from a knee injury. Manuel made up for lost time Sunday, as he tossed a career-high four interceptions in a 27-6 los.
Manuel completed 18 of 33 passes for 184 yards, but failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time since returning from injury. He was picked off four times in the game, though at least one was the result of a receiver failing to hang on to the ball. He did lead the team in rushing, as well, with 29 yards on five carries.
Manuel now has nine touchdowns and eight interceptions on the season, heading into Week 15 against the Jaguars.
Rod Streater has career performance in losing effort
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
Raiders wide receiver Rod Streater totaled a career-high 130 receiving yards during a 37-27 loss Week 14 at N.Y. Jets. Streater added a touchdown and finished with seven catches.
Streater had a relatively quiet first half, totaling one catch for 11 yards on three targets. One of his failed targets was a potential 15-yard touchdown. However, quarterback Terrelle Pryor -- who was in for one drive Sunday -- didn't give Streater much a chance to make a play. He threw it too close to the sideline in the end zone and it was batted away by a defender.
Streater then came alive in the second half for Oakland. He opened the second half with a 16-yard reception, and his second catch of the third quarter resulted in a 48-yard touchdown. Quarterback Matt McGloin threaded a pass between two defenders, and Streater did the rest by racing away from the defense.
Streater, who was targeted a team-high 10 times, had two more chances for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Streater was targeted on a 15-yard touchdown, but it was once again a tough throw close to the sideline. On the next play, Streater took a 14-yard catch down to the 1-yard line.
Sunday was just the second 100-yard performance of Streater's two-year career. The Raiders are back in action Week 15 vs. Kansas City.
Colts wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers caught six passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 42-28 loss to the Bengals. Rogers scored on a 69-yard catch in the third quarter off a short slant pass from Andrew Luck, then added a second touchdown from two yards out at the end of the fourth.
Rogers, who was promoted from the practice squad in mid-November, saw his first game action in Week 13. He was targeted a team-high nine times in Sunday's loss.
Ben Roethlisberger's strong performance can't save Steelers
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger continued his run of strong play in Week 14 against the Dolphins, but it was not enough to finish off a comeback in a 34-28 loss.
Roethlisberger extended his streak of games without an interception to four games, while tossing three touchdowns. He nearly had a fourth on a desperation play with no time left on the clock, but Antonio Brown stepped out of bounds at the after a series of laterals that appeared to break him for the game-winning touchdown.
Roethlisberger ultimately completed 23 of 39 passes for 297 yards along with his three touchdowns. He has 11 touchdowns during his string of four games since his last interception. He now has 24 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions.
Despite Roethlisberger's strong play, the Steelers head into Week 15 against the Bengals looking to snap a two-game losing streak. He finished with 251 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the team's last meeting in Week 2.
