Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta will be active in Week 14 against the Vikings, reports NFL.com Saturday. Pitta has been on injured reserve since suffering a hip injury in the preseason, but has been able to work in practice in recent weeks.
It is not clear if Pitta will be the starter, or even what type of workload he is likely to face at this time. The fact that he is able to play at all is impressive, as he was thought to have possibly been facing a season-ending injury when it aoccured.
Cowboys defensive back Morris Claiborne (hamstring) will miss his second game in a row in Week 14, as he has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bears. Claiborne has missed four of the last five games as a result of the injury.
