Peyton Manning facing rough matchup Week 14
Tennessee has compiled one of the best pass defenses in the league this season, allowing opposing quarterbacks to throw from eight touchdowns in 12 games. The team has held passers to 13.83 Fantasy points per game, the fourth-lowest figure in the league. The Titans have gone six games this season where they haven't allowed a passing touchdown. They've given up only one multi-touchdowns game. Matt Schaub tossed three touchdowns against Tennessee Week 2.
Manning represents the biggest challenge for the Titans yet. While they haven't played a quarterback of Manning's caliber, Tennessee has been able to hold good quarterbacks in check thus far. They limited Philip Rivers, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson to just one touchdown. Manning has not faced a passing defense this good all season, and could have a tough time putting up his usually dominant numbers.
Julian Edelman a decent Fantasy play in Week 14
The rollercoaster season of
Edelman started the season hot, then cooled off, but has now achieved back-to-back 100-yard performances. He has caught 18 passes for 211 yards and two touchodwns in his last two games.
It's difficult to judge what Edelman will do in Week 14 against the Jekyll-Hyde Cleveland pass defense. The Browns rank fifth in the NFL in passing yards allowed (2,494), but 19th in touchdowns yielded through the air (21). Edelman will likely be covered by Joe Haden, whose Pro Bowl credentials have taken a hit in recent weeks. And the Browns rank 30th in the league in red zone defense.
Another factor to consider is that the Cleveland quarterback situation is a mess, especially if Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell are sidelined with concussions. That could result in a blowout that would keep Tom Brady from throwing the ball late.
Edelman is a fine No. 2 receiver or flex option. Fantasy owners should not shy away from playing him this week, but his production can't be easily predicted.
Addition to wide receiver corps doesn't bode well for Patriots duo
The re-signing of Austin Collie indicates that the injuries to fellow
Thompkins missed most of the Week 13 game against Houston while Dobson was out.
Austin Collie returns to Patriots
Veteran wide receiver
Collie, who thrived as a possession receiver with Indianapolis from 2009 to 2011, played in four games for New England this season, starting one, and caught three passes for 34 yards.

Bucs about to face Bills offense hitting on all cylinders
The Bucs' next opponent will be Buffalo in Week 14. Unfortunately, the Bucs defense is catching the Bills at a bad time. Buffalo has scored 37 and 31 points, respectively, the last two weeks, which have been its two-highest point totals all season.
The Buffalo offense seems to be clicking now that rookie quarterback EJ Manuel is healthy after missing time with a knee injury. Also, the re-emergence of running back C.J. Spiller helped last week against the Falcons, as he rushed for 149 yards.
DSTs are averaging 9.8 Fantasy points per week against Buffalo, which is the 11th-highest average. It was much higher up until the last two weeks, when DSTs have totaled just five points against Buffalo. Since the Buffalo offense seems to be on a roll right now, it's probably best to consider the Bucs DST a No. 2 Fantasy option Week 14.

Buffalo defense has good chance to bounce back Week 14
Fantasy owners have gotten good use out of the
It could behoove Fantasy owners to keep the Bills DST active Week 14 as a matchup with the Bucs looms. DSTs are averaging 11.8 Fantasy points per week against Tampa Bay, which is the seventh-highest average. The last two weeks, DSTs have averaged 15.5 points.
Coming out of the bye, the Bills did surrender 34 points and 423 yards in a Week 13 loss vs. Atlanta. However, heading into the bye they didn't allow an opponent to score more than 23 points or total more than 300 yards in three straight games.
Week 14 presents a good time for the Buffalo defense to bounce back after a rough outing, so consider the Bills a viable low-end No. 1 DST.

Titans DST in trouble Week 14?
Denver has been a DST killer most of the season, leading the league with 38.7 points per game. Opposing Fantasy defenses have scored just 6.92 points per game against the Broncos. Denver has scored at least 27 points in each game this year. On top of that, the Broncos have allowed a league-low 15 sacks, and Peyton Manning has only tossed nine interceptions. The only area the team is vulnerable is holding onto the ball. The Broncos actually lead the league with 26 fumbles.
For the most part, the Titans have been an effective defense this season. They allow 22.2 points per game, which puts them 11th in the league. The team hasn't forced a lot of turnovers. They are below-average at getting to the quarterback, with 31 sacks, and haven't forced interceptions at a high rate. Tennessee has done a fantastic job limiting opposing quarterbacks to just eight touchdowns, so they could disrupt Manning a bit Sunday. Either way, it's not a great matchup for the Titans DST.

Delanie Walker facing strong matchup Week 14
Denver has had a tough time defending opposing tight ends, allowing them to score 9.50 Fantasy points per game. Tight ends have averaged 79.25 yards per game against Denver, the second-highest total in the league. In the team's 12 games, tight ends have managed to score five touchdowns.
Walker has been a surprising breakout star his first season in Tennessee. Walker is second on the team with a career-high 45 receptions, and leads the team with five receiving touchdowns. Walker is coming off his worst game of the season, in which he caught one pass for 5 yards. With Ryan Fitzpatrick under center, he's averaged about four catches per game. He could be the team's best weapon against a weak Denver secondary.
