Eagles' DeMarco Murray: Stymied Thursday
DeMarco Murray was stymied in Thursday's defeat at Detroit, managing 14 carries for 30 yards and going without a target.
The Philadelphia Eagles committed to the ground game for just one quarter, but cascading touchdown throws from Matthew Stafford forced Chip Kelly to turn to the pass to attempt to keep pace. While Mark Sanchez put together an efficient, but unspectacular, performance (199 yards on 27 pass attempts), Murray wasn't on the receiving end of any of his throws. As a result, Murray was unable to augment his dismal rushing total for those in PPR formats.
Patriots' Aaron Dobson: Lands on IR
The New England Patriots have placed Aaron Dobson (ankle) on IR, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
With Dobson headed to IR, Julian Edelman out indefinitely, plus Danny Amendola and Keshawn Martin also banged up, we'd expect the Patriots to make a move to add some wideout depth in the coming days.
Eagles' Mark Sanchez: Tosses two touchdowns in crushing loss
Mark Sanchez completed 19 of 27 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's crushing loss at Detroit.
Sanchez was under constant pressure from the Lions' resurgent pass rush, taking nine hits and getting sacked six times, yet he only committed one turnover, a fumble, on the Philadelphia Eagles ' first drive of the second half. Facing a deficit of 31-7 at that point, he continued to truck along and finished with a quarterback rating (116.1) that belied an uninspiring performance from the Chip Kelly-coached squad. Because Sam Bradford (shoulder/concussion) is approaching a return to action, according to Albert Breer of NFL Network, Sanchez will likely serve in a reserve role in the Eagles' next tilt on Dec. 6 in New England.
Lions' Eric Ebron: Catches two passes Thursday
Eric Ebron (quad/hand) caught two of three targets for 28 yards in Thursday's 45-14 win over the Eagles.
That's four straight quiet fantasy efforts from Ebron, who will look to get his production going in Week 13 at home against the Packers. In Week 10, he caught four passes on eight targets for 28 yards in a Detroit win over Green Bay.
Lions' Calvin Johnson: Catches Three TD passes Thursday
Calvin Johnson , who caught eight passes (on 14 targets) for 93 yards, tied a career-high with three TD catches in Thursday's 45-14 win over the Eagles, ESPN.com reports.
Thanks to the Detroit Lions ' short week, Johnson, who was listed as questionable for Thursday's game, will now have some extra time to manage his ankle injury in advance of the team's Dec. 3 tilt against the Packers.
Chargers' Malcom Floyd: Remains limited at practice
Malcom Floyd (shoulder) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
Floyd's availability for Sunday's game against the Jaguars has yet to be clarified, though hopefully the release of Friday's final Week 12 injury report will add some clarity to his status for the contest.
Redskins' Chris Culliver: Tears ACL and MCL
Chris Culliver sustained a torn ACL and MCL during Thursday's practice, bringing his season to an end, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Washington made a splash in the offseason, inking Culliver to a four-year contract, but a one-game suspension and knee injury limited him to 16 tackles and no interceptions in six appearances. A shoulder injury resulted in no practice Wednesday, and in his return Thursday, he suffered the knee ligament tears on an attempted leap. With a lengthy rehab process on tap, he may be in danger of missing most of the 2016 season as well.
Chargers' Ladarius Green: Returns to a limited practice Thursday
Ladarius Green (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
Green, who had one catch on three targets for nine yards in last Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, appears on track to be a go for Week 12's game against the Jaguars, but it's still possible that he could be listed as questionable for the contest.
Chargers' Antonio Gates: Practices fully Thursday
Antonio Gates (hip) practiced fully Thursday.
After practicing in a limited fashion Wednesday, Gates' full participation Thursday suggests that he is trending toward a probable designation in advance of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Eagles' Josh Huff: Under evaluation for head injury
Josh Huff is under evaluation for a head injury suffered during Thursday's loss at Detroit, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Huff left the contest with just one catch for 11 yards on the ledger, ending his touchdown streak at two games. If he's eventually diagnosed with a concussion, his return will be subject to the league's protocol for head injuries.
