San Diego Chargers' Jacoby Jones Misses practice again
Jones continues to remain in the iffy category for the
San Diego Chargers' Malcom Floyd Practices fully
Malcom Floyd (concussion) was listed as a full practice participant Thursday.
Floyd thus appears to be trending toward a probable designation for Monday night's game against the Steelers, in the absence of any setbacks.
Dallas Cowboys' Sean Lee Limited Thursday
Sean Lee (concussion) was limited in Thursday's practice, Rob Phillips of the Dallas Cowboys ' official site reports.
Lee was removed in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Saints due to a concussion, but his presence on the field Thursday indicates that he may soon receive clearance from the league's protocol for head injuries. Once he's cleared, he'll resume his role as the Cowboys' starting weak-side linebacker, from which he's accrued a team-high 36 tackles this season.
San Diego Chargers' Steve Johnson Misses practice Thursday
Steve Johnson (hamstring) did not practice Thursday.
Johnson, who left Week 4's win over the Browns with a hamstring injury, is thus looking iffy for Monday night's game against the Steelers, though his Week 5 outlook could brighten in the next couple of days if he is able to return to the practice field in that span.
Bengals CB Adam Jones limited in Thursday practice
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones (groin) was a limited participant at practice on Thursday, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Jones' health appears to be improving considering he didn't practice at all Wednesday, but his status for Sunday will likely come down to the wire. More information should be available as the week progresses, but if Jones can't play, Leon Hall or Darqueze Dennard will have to start in his place.
Lions RB Joique Bell probably a no-go Sunday
Joique Bell (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, and Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press noted that the running back isn't expected to play Sunday against the Cardinals.
The Detroit Lions haven't officially ruled out Bell for the Week 5 contest, but Birkett's report paves the way for Ameer Abdullah to head the backfield for a second week in a row. If Monday's loss to the Seahawks is any indication, Abdullah will earn most of the carries, while Theo Riddick serves in a pass-catching role.
Ravens WR Steve Smith misses practice again
Steve Smith (back) did not practice Thursday.
Though Smith noted Thursday that he's "feeling good," Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun relays that Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Marc Trestman indicated Thursday that Smith is in line to be out Sunday against the Browns. Look for such an outcome to be officially confirmed by the team no later than the release of Friday's final Week 5 injury report.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman remains limited Thursday
Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman (ribs) remained a limited participant in practice Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
During media availability Thursday, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said that the Atlanta Falcons hope that Coleman will be cleared to play Sunday against Washington, which would mark his first appearance since Week 2. If he fulfills that hope, the Falcons haven't revealed his workload, but Devonta Freeman's impressive showing sans Coleman will likely contain the rookie to a complementary role.
Baltimore Ravens' Lorenzo Taliaferro Returns to practice
Lorenzo Taliaferro (foot) returned to a limited practice Thursday.
At this stage, Taliaferro is trending toward being available Sunday against the Browns, though both he and Javorius Allen are behind Justin Forsett in the Baltimore Ravens ' RB pecking order.
Jacksonville Jaguars' Denard Robinson Misses practice Thursday
Denard Robinson (knee) did not practice Thursday.
We'll revisit Robinson's status Friday, but he's iffy, at best, for Sunday's game against the Bucs at this stage.
