Lions' Brandon Pettigrew: Catches one pass against the Eagles
Brandon Pettigrew caught one pass off of two targets for 21 yards in Thursday's win over Philadelphia.
Pettigrew has consistently seen more playing time than fellow tight end Eric Ebron during the Detroit Lions ' three-game winning streak, finding himself on the field for more snaps in every game and by a total margin of 142 to 106, according to Pro Football Focus. During that same period, Ebron has seen more targets, 11 to seven. Pettigrew is clearly the blocker of the tight end duo, and new offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, perhaps looking for more physicality from the offense, seems to be leaning more and more on him. That extended exposure should not be counted on, however, to deliver much fantasy production.
Chiefs' Dee Ford: Won't play Sunday
Dee Ford (back) will not play in Sunday's game against the Bills.
Ford injured his back during warmups last Sunday, and it will cost him at least another week as well. Tamba Hali will continue to see the largest chunk of time at right outside linebacker, but Dezman Moses could be in line to spell him again Sunday should the veteran need rest.
Jaguars' Bernard Pierce: Doubtful Sunday
Bernard Pierce (calf) is considered doubtful to play Sunday against the Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars .com reports.
Pierce has been battling a calf injury for the last couple of weeks, and he was inactive for last Thursday's win over the Titans. The former Raven appears destined for a second straight inactive designation, though he likely wouldn't hold a major role in the offense, regardless.
Jaguars' Allen Hurns: Probable vs. Chargers
Allen Hurns (foot) is listed as probable for Sunday's matchup with San Diego, Jacksonville Jaguars .com reports.
Hurns has been nursing minor injuries to his foot and thigh, and he was limited in practice Wednesday. However, neither ailment appears to be overly serious, and the expectation is that Hurns will be available to line up opposite Allen Robinson in Week 12. Hurns' seven-game touchdown streak was snapped last week against Tennessee but he remains a productive option in what's been a surprisingly fantasy-friendly Jaguars passing attack.
Chiefs' Allen Bailey: Ruled out for Sunday
Allen Bailey (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Bills.
Considering Bailey didn't practice at all this week, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he will skip another game Sunday. This week marks his third straight absence, and the combo of Jaye Howard and Dontari Poe will likely anchor the middle and the defensive end spot left vacant by Bailey.
Cardinals' Patrick Peterson: Questionable to face 49ers
Patrick Peterson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in San Francisco, CSN Bay Area reports.
According to Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official website, head coach Bruce Arians said Friday that he expects Peterson to play in Sunday's game. The star cornerback missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he then returned as a limited participant Friday morning. There is some chance Peterson will be active but play fewer snaps than usual.
Lions' Lance Moore: Targeted once against the Eagles
Lance Moore caught a 14-yard pass on his lone target in Thursday's win over the Eagles.
From Weeks 5 to 10, Moore found the end zone four times in five games. In the two games since, he has just two catches off of three targets. The Detroit Lions appear to be more of a two-receiver team under new offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, heavily relient on the backs and tight ends. During Thursday's game, Moore's 23 total snaps trailed that of fullback Michael Burton, according to Pro Football Focus. He should remain out of lineups until further notice.
Colts' Phillip Dorsett: Out against Tampa Bay
Dorsett has increased his activity, but hasn't been able to return to a full practice. It's possible he could return next week against Pittsburgh. Dorsett suffered a broken ankle on Oct. 25 that required surgery.
Cardinals' Chris Johnson: Listed as probable
Chris Johnson (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game in San Francisco, CSN Bay Area reports.
Following limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday, Johnson logged a full practice Friday. He should be cleared for his usual workload against a 49ers defense that he ripped for 22-110-2 back in Week 3.
Vikings' Teddy Bridgewater: Probable with shoulder injury
Teddy Bridgewater (left shoulder) was a full participant in Friday's practice and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
Bridgewater missed one play after taking a hard it in last week's loss to the Packers, but was able to fully practice all week. He should be set to start Sunday's game at Atlanta.
