Falcons backup running back Jacquizz Rodgers, who had just five touches in each of his previous two games, got double that Week 14 at Green Bay, but it didn't improve his productivity. He finished with seven carries for 14 yards and three catches for 33.
Rodgers became involved in the passing game only after the Falcons fell behind in the fourth quarter, catching all three of his passes on the team's final two drives. He has averaged just 1.8 catches in his last four games after averaging 5.2 in his previous six.
Two Browns linebackers do their job against Patriots
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
Browns linebackers D'Qwell Jackson and Paul Kruger can't be blamed for the galling blown victory Sunday at New England.
Jackson finished with a team-high nine tackles and added an interception 25 yards downfield in a first half dominated by Cleveland. Kruger, who had not registered a sack in the last five games, had two to go along with two TFLs and a pass defensed.
The Cardinals DST had a big game Week 14 against St. Louis.
Arizona wrecked havoc against Kellen Clemens. Clemens was held to just 181 passing yards, and tossed two interceptions. Karlos Dansby was able to take one of those interceptions all the way into the end zone for a score. That wasn't enough for Arizona. They also managed to sack Clemens in the end zone, registering a safety. They were only beat on one play, as Tavon Austin broke off a 56 yard run on an end-around. Zac Stacy punched in a 1 yard score on the next play.
The Cardinals will look to continue their dominance Week 15 against the Titans.
Cardinals kicker Jay Feely had a rough game Week 14 against the Rams.
Feely had two attempts in the second half, and missed both. In the third quarter, he missed from 50 yards out. In the fourth quarter, Feely could not hit a 25 yard field goal. Those misses were somewhat offset by four extra points. Feely will look to rebound Week 15 against the Titans.
Cardinals TE Jim Dray, WR Jaron Brown, RB Stepfan Taylor and WR Andre Roberts did little Week 14 against the Rams.
Dray played the biggest impact, catching three passes for 32 yards. He had a touchdown overturned after he did not break the plane. Dray also fumbled on the play, and the Rams were awarded the ball, so it was the worst possible outcome. Brown caught one pass for 32 yards. Taylor caught three balls, but had just 16 yards. He also had two rushes for 9 yards. Roberts caught one ball for 8 yards. They'll take on the Titans Week 15.
Cardinals WR Michael Floyd was limited Week 14 against the Rams.
Floyd caught just two passes for 26 yards. He was targeted five times, which was second on the team behind Larry Fitzgerald. Floyd was on a big hot streak coming into the game. He had accumulated 396 receiving yards in his three previous games. Floyd did manage to draw a defensive pass interference penalty on a drive that led to a touchdown, so he did play a role in the team's win despite some iffy numbers.
Brandon Myers extends scoring streak in losing effort
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
Giants tight end Brandon Myers extended his scoring streak to three consecutive games during Sunday’s loss to the Chargers in Week 14.
Myers hauled in a 4-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. Myers didn't make much noise outside of his touchdown grab and finished the game with four catches for 26 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
Myers has 12 receptions for 126 yards over his three-game scoring streak. He'look to keep his streak alive in Week 15 at home against the Seahawks.
A poor first half defensively doomed the Eagles DST to mediocrity on Sunday. Fantasy owners did cash in on three fumbles and the unit holding the Lions to just 228 total yards. But the Eagles recorded no sacks or scores.
Cardinals tight end Rob Housler had a decent game despite a hip injury.
Housler was questionable to play Week 14 due to ankle and hip injuries. He wound up second on the team in receiving yards, catching three passes for 42 yards. Housler has played a big role in Carson Palmer's recent hot streak. Over the past five games, Housler has 20 of his 34 receptions. He'll take on the Titans Week 15.
