Report: Packers WR Davante Adams likely to sit out Week 4
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (ankle) is not expected to play Sunday against the 49ers, ESPN reports.
Official confirmation of the wideout's anticipated absence will arrive in advance of the Packers' 4:25 ET kickoff, but Adams' ankle injury sets the stage for Randall Cobb and James Jones to see their share of targets in the Green Bay offense Sunday. Rookie Ty Montgomery also has a chance to see added opportunities in Week 4.
Report: DeMarco Murray expected to be active Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray is expected to be active Sunday against Washington Huskies . However, he will test out his hamstring during pregame warmups before a decision is made, according to NFL Network.
Murray was able to practice fully Thursday and Friday, so it was a bit surprising that he was officially listed as questionable.
Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles both played very well against the New York Jets last Sunday, so even if Murray plays, he could lose snaps to the other two backs.
Washington has also been excellent against the run, allowing just 75 rushing yards per game through three weeks, which is another knock on Murray's Fantasy upside Sunday.
Report: Alshon Jeffery will not play Week 4 due to hamstring injury
Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) will not play Sunday against the Oakland Raiders , according to NFL Network.
Jeffery is officially listed as questionable after being unable to fully practice this week. Quarterback Jay Cutler will apparently be a game-time decision, but he's unlikely to get cleared as well.
Marquess Wilson and Eddie Royal will start out wide Sunday, but tight end Martellus Bennett is likely the biggest beneficiary from a target standpoint.
Dolphins TE Jordan Cameron ready to go again Week 4
Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron (groin) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the New York Jets .
Cameron also headed into Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills listed as questionable and played. He totaled three catches on eight targets for 16 yards. Through the Dolphins' first three games, the tight end has recorded 10 catches, while compiling an average of 50.3 receiving yards per game. He should continue to see his share of targets in the team's offense Sunday in London.
Report: Bucs RB Doug Martin (knee) slated to play Week 4
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin (knee) will play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers , according to NFL Network.
Martin is officially listed as questionable after suffering the injury during practice this week, but he was always adamant he would play. The Panthers' defense has been hit by big injuries, namely to linebacker Luke Kuechly and defensive end Charles Johnson , possibly giving Martin more lanes to run through than normal against Carolina.
Hamstring injury won't keep Darrelle Revis sidelined Week 4
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis (hamstring) is active Sunday against the Miami Dolphins .
Revis tweaked his hamstring last weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles , but he practice fully Friday and is good to go. He remains an elite cornerback, but his Fantasy IDP upside is limited because not a lot of balls are thrown in his direction.
Jets RB Chris Ivory active for Week 4 showdown vs. Miami
New York Jets running back Chris Ivory (quad) is active Sunday against the Miami Dolphins .
Ivory was active for last week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles as well, but he never took the field. However, he's a "full go," according to coach Todd Bowles.
Ivory is fully expected to get a majority of the backfield touches Sunday, though Bilal Powell has played well enough to keep getting a few of his own.
Jets WR Eric Decker cleared to play Week 4
New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker (knee) is active Sunday against the Miami Dolphins .
Decker was limited in practice Thursday and Friday and was considered a game-time decision, but apparently his knee is holding up well enough to give it a go.
The Jets have a bye in Week 5, giving Decker extra time to heal, if he has to play through any pain. He was very solid before suffering the injury, so if he's really healthy enough to play, he could see a decent number of targets.
Report: Andrew Luck has no structural damage, could play Sunday
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has no structural damage is his shoulder and could play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars , according to NFL Network.
Luck has a throwing session with the coaching staff Saturday to see if he could play with the issue. He apparently was good enough to almost get the green light for Sunday's game. He'll be a game-time decision based on how he does in pregame warmups, but it looks promising that he'll play.
Ravens WR Steve Smith diagnosed with fractures in his back
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith sustained small fractures in his back against the Pittsburgh Steelers , according to head coach John Harbaugh, NFL.com reports. He has been ruled for Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns .
Smith's injury is believed to be a short-term injury, as Harbaugh referred to them as "small micorfractures."
