Ravens TE Crockett Gillmore (calf) held out of practice Wednesday
Baltimore Ravens tight end Crockett Gillmore (calf) did not practice Wednesday.
Although coach John Harbaugh has indicated Gillmore is "week to week," he did suggest the tight end "has a chance this week." Continue to monitor Gillmore's status leading up to Sunday's kickoff against the Cleveland Browns .
Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier questionable for Week 5
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier (shoulder) is questionable for the team's Monday night showdown in San Diego Toreros , Will Graves of the New Pittsburgh Courier reports.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Shazier may not be ready to go Monday night as he continues to recover from a stinger that has kept him out the past two weeks. Shazier can be a valuable indivdual defensive player asset upon his return, but should he miss more time, Sean Spence will continue to see additional work on defense.
Eagles LB Mychal Kendricks unable to practice Wednesday
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
After dealing with a hamstring injury leading up to Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins , Kendricks was activated for the game. However, he appeared to re-injure his hamstring midway through the contest. If he's unable to go, Jordan Hicks will likely get the start at right inside linebacker.
Falcons WR Leonard Hankerson limited due to thumb injury
Atlanta Falcons wide reciever Leonard Hankerson (thumb) was limited at practice Wednesday, ESPN.com reports.
Hankerson has prospered working opposite Julio Jones (toe/hamstring) and even tallied his first 100-yard effort this season Sunday against the Houston Texans . A thumb injury could hinder his ability to catch, but Hankerson's situation should provide fruitful as the season progresses.
Ravens RB Lorenzo Taliaferro misses practice Wednesday
Baltimore Ravens running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (foot) did not practice Wednesday. Taliaferro missed practice earlier this season with foot and knee issues, though it's unclear if his absence from practice Wednesday is indicative of a setback or simply maintenance-related.
Falcons WR Julio Jones limited in Wednesday's practice
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (toe/hamstring) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Jones didn't reach 100 receiving yards in Week 4 for the first time this season -- four catches for 38 yards on six targets -- but the blowout nature of the game spurred the Falcons to burn clock via the run game rather than continue to air it out.
He should return to normal Sunday against a Washington defense that has conceded 13.7 yards per catch and six touchdowns to wide receivers this season.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman limited in Wednesday's practice
Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman (rib) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Coleman practiced for the first time since suffering a fractured rib in Week 2, which paved the way for Devonta Freeman 's emergence. As the week rolls on, Coleman's ability to play Sunday against Washington should receive some clarity, but expect him to take on a change-of-pace role to Freeman when he returns to action.
Texans list RB Chris Polk (knee) as questionable for Week 5
Houston Texans running back Chris Polk (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Indianapolis Colts .
Polk's status will be revisited as Thursday's kickoff approaches, but with Arian Foster back in action and likely in line to see more work in Week 5, Polk largely slots in as an option in deeper formats.
DeAndre Levy back on practice field for Lions
Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy (hip) returned to practice Wednesday, The Detroit News reports.
Levy was forced to sit out of the Lions' Week 4 Monday night contest against the Seattle Seahawks with the hip injury, but he returned to practice Wednesday. There is a chance he takes the field Week 5, as the winless Lions play the Arizona Cardinals at home.
Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) returns to practice
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday, The Detroit News reports.
Wednesday marks Pettigrew's first practice since sustaining the hamstring injury Sept. 13, and he could be ready for the Lions' Week 5 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals .
Fellow tight end Eric Ebron (knee) is also banged up and expected to sit out a couple weeks, which would likely promote Pettigrew to the starting spot for the time being. Tim Wright would also likely see more snaps in Ebron's absence.
