Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray officially questionable for Week 16
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray worked in a limited capacity on Friday and was officially listed as questionable for Week 16 against the Colts, per Todd Archer of ESPN.
It appears as if the Cowboys remain more and more optimistic about his status for Sunday's game. Owner Jerry Jones told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas earlier in the day that he's "pretty positive" Murray will play against the Colts.
Murray underwent surgery Monday after breaking a bone in his left hand. He leads the NFL with 351 carries for 1,687 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.
If he's unable to play, the Cowboys will have a running back-by-committee approach with Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar shouldering the load on the ground. Dallas remains a 3 1/2-point favorite at home vs. Indianapolis.
