New Ravens receiver Steve Smith, a five-time Pro Bowler, said he has no problem being the No. 2 receiver to Torrey Smith. “I don’t see myself in coach [Gary] Kubiak’s system like [Texans wide receiver] Andre Johnson],” Smith told the team's website. “I see the complementary dude of [former Texans wide receiver] Kevin Walter.
“I see how he contributed and how he was instrumental in getting Andre the ball but also getting his own opportunities.”
Free agent defensive end Jared Allen, who met with the Seahawks on Sunday, will visit the Cowboys on Monday, reports NFL.com. Allen has 128.5 sacks in his 10-year career, including 45.5 in his last three seasons with the Vikings.
He reportedly has turned down several free-agent offers already.
Colts owner Jim Irsay arrested, charged with driving while intoxicated

Early Monday morning Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated as well as in possession of a controlled substance. Hamilton County Jail booked Irsay at 3:07 a.m. and set his bond at $22,500. He's due in court on Monday.
The Raiders are "looking at" free agent quarterback Josh Freeman, who bombed with the Buccaneers and Vikings last season, reports NFL Network. Oakland also would be interested in Texans quarterback Matt Schaub if he's released, the report said.

Free agent receiver Kenny Britt will visit the Redskins after checking out the Patriots on Monday, reports Pro Football Talk. Britt visited the Rams last week and is considering taking other visits too.
The Jets re-signed 33-year-old outside linebacker Calvin Pace to a two-year, $5 million deal, reports Pro Football Talk. He had 10 sacks, two forced fumbles and 53 tackles while playing every game last season.
