Chiefs' Charcandrick West: Won't practice Wednesday
Charcandrick West (hamstring) will not practice Wednesday.
With West viewed as day-to-day by the Kansas City Chiefs , his status for Sunday's tilt against the Bills remains unclear. If he is limited or forced to sit out the game, look Spencer Ware -- who had 96 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries in relief of West in Week 11 -- to see an expanded role this weekend, with Knile Davis also a candidate to be re-introduced into the Chiefs' backfield mix.
Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch: Reportedly undergoes sports hernia surgery
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Marshawn Lynch underwent sports hernia surgery Wednesday morning.
While the Seattle Seahawks have yet to confirm the reported procedure, Rapoport suggests that the "hope is for (a) late December" return for Lynch. Look for the team to address the running back's situation later Wednesday, though for now it looks safe to assume that Thomas Rawls will have an opportunity to head the Seahawks' ground game in the coming weeks.
Eagles' Sam Bradford: Questionable for Thursday
Sam Bradford (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday's contest in Detroit.
Bradford was knocked out of the Philadelphia Eagles ' Week 10 tilt against the Dolphins with a concussion and AC joint sprain, the former of which didn't allow him to step foot on the practice field until Monday. He was able to build up to a full practice Wednesday, which wasn't a walk-through, according to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Progressing to that point would seem to suggest that Bradford may be able to start, but both Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News speculated that he'll likely serve as Mark Sanchez's backup. Nevertheless, head coach Chip Kelly has an interesting decision to make in advance of Thursday's 4:30 PM ET kickoff.
Eagles' Zach Ertz: Ruled out for Thursday's contest
With only three days to recover from a concussion suffered Sunday versus the Buccaneers, Ertz was able to progress to a limited showing in Wednesday's practice, according to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer. However, Ertz was unable to complete all phases of the league's protocol for head injuries. His next opportunity to suit up arrives on Dec. 6 in New England.
Eagles' Ryan Mathews: Ruled out for Thursday's game
Ryan Mathews (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game in Detroit.
Mathews has made little progress in his quest through the concussion protocol, leaving the Philadelphia Eagles to trust in DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles, and, to a lesser extent, Kenjon Barner out of the backfield. His next chance to take the field arrives on Dec. 6 at New England.
Bills' Marcus Thigpen: Signed by Bills
The Buffalo Bills have signed Marcus Thigpen .
With Leodis McKelvin having some issues holding on to the ball as a punt returner of late, and Boom Herron and Denarius Moore having been let go by the team, Thigpen will once again join the Bills' return mix in advance of Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Denarius Moore: Let go by Bills
The Bills have released Denarius Moore .
Moore, who did not catch a pass in six games with the Bills this season, will now look to catch on elsewhere as a depth wideout/return option.
Bills' Dan Herron: Released by Bills
The Buffalo Bills have released Dan Herron .
With fellow running backs LeSean McCoy and Karlos Williams healthy these days, Herron was deemed expendable by the Bills. He'll now look to catch on with a team in need of some backfield depth at this time.
Panthers' Ted Ginn: Probable for Thursday
Ginn emerged from Week 11 with a knee injury, but it was revealed to be slight due to his ability to practice in full both Tuesday and Wednesday. He currently ranks second among
