Chargers a tough start against dangerous Broncos
The only game in the last six in which the Chargers failed to intercept a pass was in Week 10 against the Broncos. That week, the DST finished with four Fantasy points, their second-lowest total of the year.
The Chargers aren't necessarily a bad DST, but they aren't going to do much for a Fantasy owner against a high-scoring team like the Broncos, especially on a Thursday night in Denver. They can be left on the bench in most formats.

Jacquizz Rodgers could factor late
With unrest at head coach and quarterback, the Redskins seem like an easy target for the
Rodgers' 10 touches -- seven carries and three catches -- last week were his most in five games, so it's clear the Falcons haven't forgotten about him. With all the turmoil in Washington, the Redskins figure to be susceptible to blowouts from now until the end of the season, and though the Falcons aren't as likely to capitalize as the Chiefs were, the switch from Robert Griffin III to Kirk Cousins at quarterback only helps their cause.
If the game gets out of hand, Rodgers could get more work late against the team that has allowed the second-most Fantasy points to running backs. It's not a likely enough possibility for you to start him in a standard 12-team league, but in a 16-team points-per-reception league, he's worth a longer look this week.

Zac Stacy should rebound Sunday against Saints
Fantasy owners of
Stacy managed just 25 yards on 14 carries last week, but it must be remembered that he was shut down by an Arizona run defense that rates among the best in the NFL. Week 15 foe New Orleans struggles in that department, ranking 29th in the league in yards yielded per attempt at 4.7.
The performance against the Cardinals would seem to be a hiccup rather than a trend. Stacy has rushed for 692 yards and four touchdowns in eight games since taking over the starting spot in early October.
Stacy should receive plenty of carries against the Saints as the Rams try to keep the ball away from their explosive offense. Two of the three CBSSports.com senior Fantasy writers rank him 13th and 15th among NFL backs this week. He is a strong No. 2 or flex option, particularly in deeper leagues.

Reggie Bush could pose big quandary for Fantasy owners
Fantasy owners who did not handcuff
Bush told reporters Wednesday he expects to play despite aggravating a calf injury in pregame warmups Week 14 and sitting out. The Lions' first practice is Thursday.
If Bush is active, he's a no-brainer RB1. Bush ranks seventh among running backs in weekly scoring in standard leagues, fifth in PPR formats. In his last game, the Thanksgiving blowout of Green Bay, Bush ran 20 times for 117 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 65 yards. He did lose a fumble.
The Ravens give up the 2nd-fewest Fantasy points (11.9 per game) to running backs. Bush is matchup-proof, however.
Bell, for his part, has proven he's an above-average replacement. He's scored in four of the past six games. Owners who have Bush and Bell can rest easy. Everyone else needs to follow the practice reports carefully and have a backup plan.

Another favorable matchup for Steven Jackson
The Redskins rank a not-so-telling 18th against the run, allowing 115.3 yards per game, but have given up 19 touchdowns on the ground, most in the NFL. They'e surrendered the second-most Fantasy points to running backs, behind only the Cowboys, and just last week, they got thrashed by the Chiefs' Jamaal Charles, who had 159 total yards and two touchdowns in three quarters of play against them.
Granted, Jackson is no Charles, but it's clear the Falcons are trying to involve him in the game plan. With the Redskins turning to backup Kirk Cousins at quarterback this week, it's not like the Falcons will fall behind big, forcing them to pass. Jackson seems like a good bet for solid numbers.
Jamey Eisenberg, Dave Richard and Nathan Zegura all rank him in their top 12 at running back this week. I don't know that I'd go that far, but on most teams, I'd have trouble finding two running backs I prefer to him.
