Cincinnati Bengals' Adam Jones Limited participant in practice Thursday
Adam Jones (groin) was a limited participant at practice on Thursday, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Jones' health appears to be improving considering he didn't practice at all Wednesday, however the 32-year-old's status for Sunday will likely come down to the wire. More information should be available as the week progresses, but if Jones can't play Leon Hall or Darqueze Dennard will have to start in his place.
Lions RB Joique Bell probably a no-go Sunday
Joique Bell (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, and Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press noted that the running back isn't expected to play Sunday against the Cardinals.
The Detroit Lions haven't officially ruled out Bell for the Week 5 contest, but Birkett's report paves the way for Ameer Abdullah to head the backfield for a second week in a row. If Monday's loss to the Seahawks is any indication, Abdullah will earn most of the carries, while Theo Riddick serves in a pass-catching role.
Ravens WR Steve Smith misses practice again
Steve Smith (back) did not practice Thursday.
Though Smith noted Thursday that he's "feeling good," Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun relays that Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Marc Trestman indicated Thursday that Smith is in line to be out Sunday against the Browns. Look for such an outcome to be officially confirmed by the team no later than the release of Friday's final Week 5 injury report.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman remains limited Thursday
Atlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman (ribs) remained a limited participant in practice Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
During media availability Thursday, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said that the Atlanta Falcons hope that Coleman will be cleared to play Sunday against Washington, which would mark his first appearance since Week 2. If he fulfills that hope, the Falcons haven't revealed his workload, but Devonta Freeman's impressive showing sans Coleman will likely contain the rookie to a complementary role.
Baltimore Ravens' Lorenzo Taliaferro Returns to practice
Lorenzo Taliaferro (foot) returned to a limited practice Thursday.
At this stage, Taliaferro is trending toward being available Sunday against the Browns, though both he and Javorius Allen are behind Justin Forsett in the Baltimore Ravens ' RB pecking order.
Jacksonville Jaguars' Denard Robinson Misses practice Thursday
Denard Robinson (knee) did not practice Thursday.
We'll revisit Robinson's status Friday, but he's iffy, at best, for Sunday's game against the Bucs at this stage.
Washington Redskins' Pierre Garcon Full practice Thursday
Pierre Garcon (knee) was a full practice participant Thursday, Washington's official site reports.
Garcon suffered a mild knee sprain Sunday against the Eagles, but his activity level hasn't been hindered in either practice this week. With Jordan Reed very questionable to play this Sunday due to another concussion, Garcon should be Kirk Cousins' unquestioned No. 1 option against a Falcons secondary that just allowed DeAndre Hopkins to run roughshod over them in Week 4 (nine catches for 157 yards on 22 targets).
Jacksonville Jaguars' Marcedes Lewis Practices fully
Marcedes Lewis (knee) practiced fully Thursday.
Lewis figures to be listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Bucs, though with just five catches for 40 yards this season -- all last weekend -- he's only an option in the deepest of fantasy formats.
Cincinnati Bengals' Jeremy Hill Remains limited at practice Thursday
Jeremy Hill (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday, the Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner Jr reports.
We'll check back on Hill's status Friday and while there has been no indication that he is in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Seahawks, a probable injury designation to close the week would no doubt be reassuring to his fantasy owners.
Chicago Bears' Eddie Royal Remains out of practice Thursday
Eddie Royal (ankle) missed practice again Thursday, Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Royal hasn't practiced this week due to an ankle injury, leaving only one day to show off his Week 5 viability. If he makes an appearance Sunday against the Chiefs, he may have to contend with Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) for targets for the first time since the season opener.
