Week 16 not the time to trust Packers DST
Week 16 might not be the time to get brave either and put the Packers DST into active Fantasy lineups. DSTs average just 8.6 Fantasy points per week and no DST has scored more than 8 Fantasy points in the last six games against Pittsburgh.
The Steelers offense has been tough to slow down lately. Pittsburgh is averaging 28 points and 358.6 yards over the last seven games.
Fantasy owners should look toward other alternatives over the Packers DST Week 16. Some other options include the Dolphins (@BUF), Lions (vs. NYG) and Chargers (vs. OAK).
Eddie Royal should play Sunday despite another practice absence
Jordan Reed shut down for the rest of the year
Reed went to see another specialist recently, and it was determined he should not play again this season. Head coach Mike Shanahan told reporters the doctor recommended Reed not practice for three weeks, ending his season.

Don't overlook the Steelers DST Week 16
After a horrid start to the season, the
Next up for the Steelers is a showdown with the Packers in Week 16. DSTs are averaging 9.5 Fantasy points per week against the Packers, but that average has been higher since Aaron Rodgers suffered a collarbone injury Week 9. Since Week 9, DSTs are averaging 13.4 Fantasy points per week against Green Bay.
Rodgers isn't expected to be back Week 16, which means another start for Matt Flynn. The Packers were able to rack up 37 points and 433 yards against Dallas last week. However, the Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL, so don't let last week impact your decision to start the Steelers DST this week.
Consider the Steelers DST a viable Fantasy start in all formats. This isn't an Rodgers-led offense and you can see DSTs have had success against Green Bay since Rodgers has been hurt. The Steelers DST could be a safe Fantasy play Week 16.

Seahawks a must-start
Carson Palmer has a bad elbow and ankle. Larry Fitzgerald is dealing with concussion issues. Michael Floyd seems to be playing through a bad ankle. Andre Ellington bruised his hip in Week 15. Rob Housler missed last week's game with a groin injury. And this is an Arizona team that already ranks just 19th in total offense.
Now throw into the mix a Seattle defense that has allowed the 10th-fewest rushing yards on the season, and fewest passing yards. The
Sunday's game between the two teams should be a defensive battle, with a banged-up Cardinals roster being an easy target for an on-fire Seahawks DST. They are a must-start for Week 16.
Aaron Dobson anticipates making return to game action Sunday
Dobson has 35 catches for 492 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games, including seven starts.
Adrian Peterson not practicing Thursday
Peterson was able to put in limited practice Wednesday, but sat out during the open portion the following day. There's a chance Peterson will practice once the media leaves. His status will be updated once practice is over. Peterson missed Week 15 due to a foot injury.

Andrew Quarless' hot streak might end Week 16
It might behoove you and potentially surprise you to know that
Quarless has been a favorite target of Packers quarterback Matt Flynn, who has made the last three starts in the absence of Aaron Rodgers (collarbone). It's looking like Flynn will make another start Sunday against the Steelers, so is it time to trust Quarless in Fantasy leagues Week 16?
Tight ends have had moderate success against the Steelers, averaging 54.2 receiving yards and 7.4 Fantasy points per week. Though, the last two weeks tight ends have totaled three touchdowns and 31 Fantasy points against Pittsburgh. Still, only two tight ends -- Rob Gronkowski and Charles Clay -- have had at least double-digit Fantasy points against the Steelers.
Quarless has played well the last two weeks, but he had favorable matchups against the Falcons and Cowboys -- two teams that have struggled against tight ends. Week 16 presents an opportunity for Quarless to potentially take a step back, despite tight ends having success against Pittsburgh recently.
It's probably safe to consider Quarless more of a No. 2 Fantasy tight end Week 16.
