Adrian Peterson will try to practice Friday
Frazier said Peterson would have to practice Friday to play Sunday against the Eagles, and that the Vikings will err on the side of caution, according to the website. Frazier said he was a little more optimistic that running back Toby Gerhart (hamstring) will be able to play.
Justin Houston returns to limited practice status
Though he had already gained a reputation as a strong pass rusher, Houston was one of the defensive surprises of the NFL early in the year with 7 1/2 sacks in his first three games. But he has had just 3 1/2 since and none in his last three games played before sustaining the injury.

Buccaneers DST could cool off Week 15
The 49ers might rank 28th in total offense (311.5 yards per game), but they rank tied for 11th in scoring offense (24.3 points per game). DSTs average just 7.4 Fantasy points per week against San Francisco, which is the seventh-lowest average. DSTs have scored more than 10 Fantasy points just four times against the 49ers and no DST has scored more than 10 points in the last three games.
The Bucs DST has been a pretty good Fantasy option as of late, scoring at least 12 Fantasy points in four of the last five games. However, the Bucs DST had just four Fantasy points Week 13 against a very good Carolina team, so it could be another low-output week with another very good team on the schedule. It's probably best to start an alternative DST Week 15.
Maurice Jones-Drew seeking clearance for game against Bills
"You've got to be patient," he told the Florida Times-Union. "You don't want to reinjure it."
Jordan Todman will start in place of an inactive Jones-Drew, who has rushed for 719 yards on 208 carries this season and is coming off his first 100-yard performance of the season.

Continue to lean on 49ers DST Week 15
DSTs have scored well against the Bucs, so that bodes well for Fantasy owners who have the 49ers DST. DSTs average 10.8 Fantasy points per week against Tampa Bay, which is the eighth-highest average. DSTs have scored less than 10 points just four times this season against Tampa Bay.
It's no surprise the 49ers have been one of the highest-scoring DSTs in 2013. They haven't let down Fantasy owners and are probably one of the main reasons why you have made it this far in your league. You have been leaning on the 49ers DST all season and it's not time to stop Week 15.
