Player News
Jonas Hiller
Flames' Hiller To Start Sunday
Jonas Hiller, G, CGY
4/19/2015
News: Jonas Hiller will be between the pipes for Game 3 of the Flames' playoff series against the Canucks, Roger Millions of Sportsnet reports.
Analysis: Despite being pulled in Game 2 after allowing three goals on 29 shots, the Flames will once again turn to Jonas Hiller for Game 3 of the series. If he continues to struggle, Calgary may have to consider giving Karri Ramo a shot in net in Game 4.

Scott Darling
Hawks' Darling To Start Sunday
Scott Darling, G, CHI
4/19/2015
News: Scott Darling will be between the pipes for Game 3 on Sunday against the Predators, Mark Lazerus of The Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis: It isn't a huge surprise, as Corey Crawford has struggled in back-to-back starts, allowing nine goals on 47 shots over that span. Scott Darling, on the other hand, was phenomenal in relief of Crawford in Game 1 of the series, turning away every one of Nashville's 42 shots en route to a 4-3 double-overtime victory. He'll look to build on that outstanding performance on Sunday.

Mathieu Perreault
Jets' Perreault (Lower Body) Game Time Decision
Mathieu Perreault, C, WPG
4/19/2015
News: Mathieu Perreault (lower body) skated Saturday morning and is considered a game-time decision for Game 2 against the Ducks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Mathieu Perreault is still recovering from a lower body injury he sustained on Apr. 9. Although he's reportedly close to returning to the Jets' lineup, he may have to wait until Game 3 on Monday to do so, as he remains a true game-time decision for Saturday's Game 2. The Jets will provide an update on his status prior to puck drop on Saturday.

Matt Cooke
Wild's Cooke To Play Saturday
Matt Cooke, LW, MIN
4/19/2015
News: Matt Cooke will suit up on Saturday for Game 2 of the Wild's first-round playoff matchup with St. Louis, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Analysis: Matt Cooke hasn't played since Feb. 1, and has been plagued by injury for much of the season. He leads the Wild in career playoff games (103), and will add a veteran presence to Minnesota's lineup.

Marco Scandella
Scandella Nets Wild's Only Goal
Marco Scandella, D, MIN
5:50 PM
News: Marco Scandella scored the Wild's only goal in a 4-1 loss to the Blues in Game 2 of their first-round series.
Analysis: He broke his stick on the shot, but it somehow fooled Jake Allen to trigger the red light. He's been surprisingly offensive in his last four games, potting three goals.

Devan Dubnyk
Wild's Dubnyk Stops 23 In Loss
Devan Dubnyk, G, MIN
5:11 PM
News: Devan Dubnyk made 23 saves in a 4-1 loss to the Blues. He allowed three goals.
Analysis: The score was incredibly close with the Blues holding a tenuous 2-1 lead until the 18:02 mark of the third when they potted their third. Double-D and the Wild head home for the next two games and the excitement in Minnesota should ratchet things up dramatically.

Kevin Shattenkirk
Shattenkirk An Assist Machine For Blues
Kevin Shattenkirk, D, STL
5:06 PM
News: Kevin Shattenkirk picked up two more assists Saturday against the Wild, giving him four points in the Round One series.
Analysis: We hope you picked him for your playoff pool -- the Blues are starting to look like a well-oiled machine.

Jake Allen
Blues' Allen Stops 24 Shots In Win
Jake Allen, G, STL
5:01 PM
News: Jake Allen turned away 24-of-25 shots Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Wild.
Analysis: He barricaded the twine tent and was beaten only by a Marco Scandella slapper that snuck past him after the Wild defender broke his stick on the shot. He survived another couple close calls and was aided by the posts and his defenders.

Vladimir Tarasenko
Tarasenko On An Offensive Tear For St. Loo
Vladimir Tarasenko, RW, STL
4:54 PM
News: Vladimir Tarasenko potted a hat trick in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Wild.
Analysis: Geez -- do you think this guy loves to play Minny? He has four goals and two assists between the season's last game, also against the Wild, and two playoff games. He's clearly not intimidated by the bright lights of the postseason.

Tomas Fleischmann
Ducks' Fleischmann To Be Healthy Scratch Saturday
Tomas Fleischmann, LW, ANA
4:07 PM
News: Tomas Fleischmann will be a healthy scratch Saturday against Winnipeg, The Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Tomas Fleischmann was also a healthy scratch for Thursday's series opener. The Ducks will likely go with Andrew Cogliano, Rickard Rakell, and Jakob Silfverberg on the third line.
