Zac Rinaldo
Rinaldo Traded To Bruins
Zac Rinaldo, C, PHI
6/30/2015
News: The Flyers traded Zac Rinaldo to the Bruins on Monday for a third-round draft choice in the 2017 NHL Draft, NHL.com reports.
Analysis: Zac Rinaldo, who tallied one goal and six points to go along with 109 penalty minutes in 58 games for Philadelphia this past season, adds depth and grit to the B's forward mix, but he's presumably ticketed for a fourth-line/agitator role that limits his fantasy utility to PIM-heavy formats.

Chris Pronger
Flyers Deal Pronger's Contract To Coyotes
Chris Pronger, D, PHI
6/30/2015
News: Chris Pronger was dealt to the Coyotes over the weekend along with defenseman Niklas Grossmann in exchange for forward Sam Gagner, a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2016 or a third-round pick in 2017, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: Chris Pronger's playing career came to an end during the 2011-12 season due to post-concussion issues and an eye injury, but he still has two years remaining on the seven-year, $34.5 million contract he inked with the Flyers in the summer of 2009. His contract will cost the Coyotes just $575,000 over the next two seasons, but he still carries a cap hit of just under $5 million, which will help Arizona in their attempt to meet the league's salary-cap minimum. The 40-year-old Pronger, who was hired by the NHL last season, is eligible to be voted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this week.

Brandon McMillan
Canucks, McMillan Part Ways
Brandon McMillan, C, VAN
4:16 PM
News: Brandon McMillan wasn't tendered a qualifying offer by the Canucks on Monday and will become a free agent, Brad Ziemer of the Vancouver Sun reports.
Analysis: Brandon McMillan played in eight games last season for the Canucks, notching one point. He'll likely try to earn a fourth-line role with another club this coming season.

Cory Conacher
Canucks Let Go Of Conacher
Cory Conacher, LW, VAN
4:14 PM
News: Cory Conacher wasn't extended a qualifying offer by the Canucks on Monday and will become an unrestricted free agent, Brad Ziemer of the Vancouver Sun reports.
Analysis: The fall continues for Cory Conacher, who just two years ago fetched star goalie Ben Bishop as a trade return. Since arriving in Ottawa in that April 2013 deal, Conacher has bounced around four organizations and finished out last season at AHL Utica, where he tallied seven goals and 16 points in 20 games. He's still just 25 years old, but is likely bound for the minors to start the 2015-16 campaign.

Ryan Stanton
Canucks Part Ways With Stanton
Ryan Stanton, D, VAN
4:04 PM
News: Ryan Stanton wasn't extended a qualifying offer by the Canucks on Monday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet reports.
Analysis: Ryan Stanton spent a good portion of last season on injured reserve and didn't exactly light it up when he was healthy, supplying only three goals and eight assists in 54 games. The 25-year-old probably still has a place in the league as a depth defender, but it's unlikely that he'll ever carry much fantasy intrigue.

Yannick Weber
Canucks Don't Give Qualifying Offer To Weber
Yannick Weber, D, VAN
4:01 PM
News: Yannick Weber wasn't extended a qualifying offer by the Canucks on Monday and will become an unrestricted free agent, Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet reports.
Analysis: The Canucks are still interested in re-signing Yannick Weber, but didn't want to have to go through salary arbitration in order to retain his services. Instead, they'll try to bring back Weber on a more club-friendly deal, though several other teams are sure to inquire on the defenseman as well. Weber tallied 11 goals and 10 assists in 65 games in 2014-15, doubling up his point total from a season earlier.

Linden Vey
Canucks Re-Up Vey For One Year
Linden Vey, RW, VAN
3:55 PM
News: Linden Vey signed a one-year, $1 million contract extension with the Canucks on Monday, ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports.
Analysis: Linden Vey had a bumpy first season in Vancouver, and ended up finishing with 10 goals and 14 assists across 75 games. The Canucks probably view the 23-year-old as a bottom-six option in their forward ranks heading into 2015-16.

Drayson Bowman
Habs' Bowman Becomes Free Agent
Drayson Bowman, LW, MON
3:47 PM
News: Drayson Bowman wasn't tendered a contract by the Canadiens, making him an unrestricted free agent, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Analysis: Drayson Bowman spent most of the 2014-15 campaign with AHL Hamilton, where he produced 14 goals and 19 assists in 62 games. He made three appearances with the Canadiens during the course of the season, but at 26 years old, he's no longer much of a prospect.

Eric Tangradi
Habs Don't Tender Contract To Tangradi
Eric Tangradi, LW, MON
3:45 PM
News: Eric Tangradi wasn't tendered a contract by the Canadiens, making him an unrestricted free agent, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Analysis: Eric Tangradi skated in seven games for the Habs in 2014-15, logging no points. The 26-year-old will try to land a two-way contract with another club this offseason.

Andrej Nestrasil
Canes' Nestrasil Commits For Two Years
Andrej Nestrasil, RW, CAR
3:37 PM
News: Andrej Nestrasil signed a two-year, $1.825 million contract with the Hurricanes on Monday, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Analysis: The 24-year-old split his first NHL season with the Red Wings and Hurricanes, tallying seven goals and 13 assists across 54 games. Andrej Nestrasil, who was claimed off waivers by the Hurricanes on Nov. 20, ended up leading the team in plus/minus rating, and likely would have posted bigger numbers had he not been felled by the injury bug. He could have a shot at claiming a second- or third-line role for the 'Canes in 2015-16.
