Compher, and the 31st overall pick in the 2015 Draft. So it's no surprise they wanted to lock him in for the long haul, in a deal that's expected to be for over $7 million a season when officially announced. O'Reilly is expected to center the top line, with rookie Jack Eichel quarterbacking the No. 2 line as the Sabres try to pull off a quick, successful rebuild.
