News: Barret Jackman's play is solid defensively so far but he has only three assists on the season. Analysis: Unless you are solid on points but seriously struggling in plus/minus, Barret Jackman is not much of an option. Due to great depth on defense, he isn't posting his typical 20 minutes of ice time either.

News: Vladimir Sobotka is putting together a career season in St. Louis as the second line pivot. Analysis: With the Blues' deep lineup, it's no surprise Vladimir Sobotka goes unnoticed. He's on pace to net 15 goals and 24 assists and 103 PIM, which represent career highs. He is a great two-way player who sees time on the power-play and short-handed. Pick this sleeper up if available because he can help you across the board.

Don;t expect the Sabres to change anything up, but Enroth will get the nod here to give Ryan Miller some rest. Enroth is 1-5-2 this season but has a solid 2.63 GAA over nine appearances (eight starts).
News: Roman Polak is on pace to match his career high in points and to exceed his best plus/minus. Analysis: Though these high-water marks represent only 21 points and a plus-9, they very well could be better numbers than the last defenseman on your roster. He won't kill you in ice time and will get you a few penalty minutes. It also doesn't hurt that he plays for one of the best teams in the league.
