Player News
Clayton Stoner
Ducks' Stoner Scores Game Winner Sunday
Clayton Stoner, D, ANA
12:29 PM
News: Clayton Stoner scored the game winner in the third period of Sunday night's clash in Dallas.
Analysis: Not normally known for his goal-scoring prowess, the defenseman was able to score his first goal in nearly a full calendar year. Seeing as how his career total is now at five goals and 33 assists, don't expect the 30-year old to suddenly become fantasy viable.

Corey Perry
Ducks' Perry Hits Scoresheet Twice In Win Sunday
Corey Perry, RW, ANA
12:22 PM
News: Corey Perry tallied a goal and an assist in Sunday's win over the Stars.
Analysis: The points give Corey Perry 45 points on the season. Despite missing 15 of his team's 64 games this season, Perry is only second to linemate Ryan Getzlaf in team scoring.

Ryan Getzlaf
Ducks' Getzlaf Records Milestone Marker
Ryan Getzlaf, C, ANA
12:16 PM
News: Ryan Getzlaf tied Paul Kariya for second on the Ducks' all-time scoring list with a goal and an assist Sunday in Dallas.
Analysis: This gives Ryan Getzlaf 669 points in 693 career games for the Ducks. He now has 61 points in 61 games this season, good enough for eighth place in NHL scoring.

John Gibson
Gibson Shines For Ducks In Win Over Stars
John Gibson, G, ANA
12:05 PM
News: John Gibson stopped 39-of-40 shots faced Sunday night in Dallas.
Analysis: This was John Gibson's fifth win in his last six starts, as it appears that both him and his team have worked their way out of a slump. However, it appears that Gibson will be relegated to backup duties very soon with regular starter Frederik Andersen fully recovered from a head/neck injury. Keep a close eye on Gibson's status for upcoming games.

Ray Emery
Flyers' Emery Set To Return
Ray Emery, G, PHI
8:35 AM
News: Ray Emery (lower body) practiced Monday, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
Analysis: With Anthony Stolarz headed back to AHL Lehigh Valley, and Ray Emery no longer listed on IR by the Flyers, look for Emery to back up Steve Mason on Tuesday against the Flames.

John-Michael Liles
Canes' Liles Assists In Win Over Isles
John-Michael Liles, D, CAR
8:26 AM
News: John-Michael Liles recorded an assist and was plus-2 during Saturday's 5-3 win over the Islanders. It was his 13th point of the season and fifth in his last 11 games.
Analysis: John-Michael Liles has found himself serving as a healthy scratch numerous times this season; however, following the recent trade that sent Tim Gleason to Washington, the Canes are now a little thinner on the blue line, and we suspect Liles will see more regular minutes going forward.

Luke Witkowski
Lightning Send Witkowski To AHL
Luke Witkowski, D, TB
8:24 AM
News: The Lightning sent Luke Witkowski to AHL Syracuse on Monday, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune reports.
Analysis: Luke Witkowski, who has yet to record a point in 10 games with the Lightning this season, heads back to the AHL for now, in the wake of the team's acquisition of fellow blueliner Braydon Coburn. With Syracuse, Witkowski has notched six points and racked up 75 PIM in 36 contests to date.

Kris Letang
Pens' Letang Assists Twice In Win
Kris Letang, D, PIT
8:23 AM
News: Kris Letang picked up two power-play assists in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Analysis: The Penguins turned the game into a runaway with three unanswered goals on the man advantage in the second period, with Kris Letang setting up David Perron and Evgeni Malkin on scores. Letang has been an asset on the power play all season, where his 21 assists rank third in the league.

Sidney Crosby
Pens' Crosby Assists Twice In Win
Sidney Crosby, C, PIT
8:20 AM
News: Sidney Crosby gathered two power-play assists in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Analysis: Sidney Crosby would find himself on the ice for two even-strength Columbus goals to saddle him with a minus-2 rating for the evening, but the points are probably of more value to fantasy owners. He's now found the score sheet in four straight games, leaving him just one point short of the NHL lead.

Chris Terry
Canes' Terry Contributes In Win Over Isles
Chris Terry, LW, CAR
8:13 AM
News: Chris Terry recorded an assist during Saturday's 5-3 win over the Islanders. It was his first game back in the lineup after missing the previous four contests as a healthy scratch.
Analysis: With 11 points in 38 games, Chris Terry has been fairly productive when he's been in the lineup, but given that he's frequently watching from the press box, it's hard to recommend him. When he does play, he typically sees fourth-line minutes of 10-12 minutes per game, which is a further drag on his fantasy value. Go with another option if you have one.
